  1. good post. Esson was good during the Forres game in terms of organising. I think barrowman will come good and score a few this season. Barrowman and odi up front I say.
  2. Good post Renegade. Perhaps Esson as captain though. Shoot me down but I think Barrowman could do a job in the 1st division if he gets a bit of confidence about him. He was unlucky not to score at Forres and appeared to be trying (slighty more than usual).
  3. Yes they were 9 and 10 and also stinking!! well 10 was 9 didnt really feature much.. I have my finger crossed for Sanchez but if he has interest from Spain, they are going to match of better our offer then I'd be heading home!! fingers crossed all the same. too true. They were both sheeeeyte
  4. Just heard on the radio that the situation at Livingston is 'critical'. Their players have agreed to pay for gratis tomorrow and they need their cut of the gate to stay afloat. Ideal season, Livingston out of business, caley promoted and county down.
  5. good post and I totally agree with you. Anyone who thinks ICT are going straight back up are probably a bit over confident. with us coming down many teams will see us as the team to beat. The main thing in our favour is that Dundee are "favourites" to win the league. Do Butcher and Malpas have 1 year of a contract left at the club? I seriously think that if butcher can't win the league he should give up on football management
  6. I agree with that, somthing else ive not thought about, how will we react if we were losing or lost, weve only really been behind once, Im afraid what might happen if we go in to the season and take a pumping.. will the chins go down? Morton have been taking a pounding in pre season, they have been playing some worth while sides too, and by all accounts still played good games, I really hope that our dundee utd game will be our tester with TB's starting 11 just to see how we'd coop. my motm was the Forres number 11. But I don't take anything from these pre season friendlies. Montrose and Annan should be dispatched from both competitions easily.
  7. Is this a 7.45 kick off? Any idea how much it is to get in? I'm going for a 4-0 win
  8. foxestalk.co.uk/forums/index.php?showtopic=61313 doesn't seem too many of the foxes fans were keen on him.
  9. Wonder if he'll get a game on Wednesday? I'm going through to it - see you there if you're up
  10. I'm going through for this one. Where's the best place to park? Tesco car park?
  11. Who was it who recently suggested that we bring in big Fijians and teach them how to be footballers? If you actually go back and look what I said, I was calling for ICT to look at international players from the Pacific Islands like Figi, Samoa and Tonga. Why is this so taboo? Were PSV Eindhoven wrong to attempt to sign Roy Krishna? This also hasn't really been done yet. There was a time when teams wouldn't look to Africa, now a large amount of big teams have at least one African player. There have been some small keepers who make up for it with exceptional agility, but they are few and far between. True but there still seems to be this attitude of they have to such a height. Would Mark McGhee (going by his comment) have turned down Gordon Banks (presuming he hadn't heard of him)? Going by his comment, yes he would've. Where is Figi?
  12. Win at home, draw away is the key to the Scottish First. That's what St J did last season. We win away and have been losing at home. This is a tough league and it's too close to make accurate predictions.........
  13. Dundee are at odds of 2.62 while Caley are second favourites at 4. This is going to be a make or break season for Terry Butcher. I believe if he can't win the first division he can kiss his management career away. I think the Pars might be a surprise outfit this year.
  14. I'm amazed at the OP! No stereotypes at all there... What a rotten post. But then 'Renegade' was thinking about sqaud restructuring in the first division before we were even down...
  15. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/t...nty/8081122.stm personally think it's not good!
  16. Have to agree with you forresjags. Saw a few of them in action in reserve games on Setanta - and of course vigurs when he got some first team action. Just hope they don't go across the bridge!!
  17. Although Edinburgh based I'm going to take the plunge and get a season ticket this year. If we had crowds like that Falkirk game we wouldn't be in the mire. Just hope there's not going to be too many midweek games? Anyone got any ideas about how many there might be? Ive also e-mailed the club to join the centenary club.

    Sorry Ict

I work in a school in Edinburgh and a lot of the pupils who support Hibs were sad to see Caley go down. I was pretty surprised by this as Yogi's a bit of Leith man?
  19. Gutted I missed the St Midden game but have to agree on the point about being relegated. REALLY sunk in watching Sportscene last night. It hasn't helped listening to tims at work moaning abour not willing the league :P
  20. Renegade posts = :P :015:
  21. No I think we will finsh top six next year - I've been hopeful of this for a number of seasons. I'm not sure if Butcher and Malpas will be able to do it - that is if they're there.

    Roy Mcbain

I'll be glad to see him in a Caley strip next season.
  23. Butcher on BBC this morning said the boys have been tearing lumps out of each other all week. Here's to tearing lumps out of Falkirk! I'm confident we'll have them today
  24. Renegade, what do you mean by people posting who are "ultra-reactrionary"? If you can't read and you can't write.... Make your point caller and then hang up yes. Negativity is bad ergo you must stop.
