It could be us (Manager Scalps - Merged)
So long as Stewartie Milne doesn't come in for Terry and Mo... Surely there can't be too many managers who would go near the Aberdeen hotseat if McGhee does get his P45. Ideal situation though - Adams takes over the sheep, Brewster takes the job at our feeder club. That would be good fun.

Hamilton roll call (merged)
Just had a look at the trains. It doesn't look too bad from Waverley to Hamilton West - just one change.

main stand linesman
I think this may be a decision Mike Noble clarified on MFR yesterday. The MFR commentator was talking about the blatant passback and MN clarified that because the passback was as a result of a challenge, the passback rule did not apply. I cant say I understand the ins and outs of it, but thats pretty much what Mike said. A lot of fans shouted for this - understandable - I did. If an indirect free kick had been given for it, it would have been an incorrect decision IMVHO. I actually though Tumilty had a good game yesterday - aside from the free kicks he gave for what were very light challenges. He did seem pretty balanced though. Motherwell got some free kicks from challenges which looked pretty light - but so did we. Motherwell were the better side over the 90 minutes. I thought they looked pretty impressive - especially at the back. (Queue furry of red dots...)

Hamilton roll call (merged)
OK, so I know we've got a game on Tuesday (I can't make it to Piottodrie) and this thread may be a little too early, but who's planning the game against the Accies? Rail - wise, is it easy to get to the ground? I've only driven through before. Hopefully we'll have a good number make it and record a win.

How can we improve at home?
Could the width of the pitch have anything to do with our results at home? Fifa laws stipulate the goal line can be a minimum of 45 m (50 yds) and a maximum of 90m (100 yds). These measurements are for international matches though - but I assume the SPL must have similar regulations? How wide is the pitch at the moment? Is it not one of the biggest in the UK? When we were at ibrox last week the playing area seemed a lot smaller than the TCS one. (Perhaps because of the size of the stadium though.) The wide pitch at TCS suited our style of play under Pele - especially when we had Robson and Wilson playing.

ICT City Centre Shop
Following on from Scotty's post above, I wonder why the club doesn't go in to some kind of deal with Tesco to have ICT merchandise sold in their stores in Inverness. Tesco deal with local suppliers - if customers request certain products. Inverness is Tescotown after all.

Does anyone remember Craig Brewster?
Have to agree with you on this Alex. I think, with hindsight, the behaviour at that accies game at NDP towards the end or his tenure was a little over the top. Still, I'd love to see him as county manager if Adams moves to pittodrie... ...just for comedy value.

main stand linesman
Shocker from that main stand side assistant. He was watching the game instead of the last defender. He had some howlers in terms of the offsides.
-
Johnny Hayes
He is a good wee player for sure. I think his next step may be the championship as opposed to septic. Enjoy watching his performances while he's here - just hope he doesn't suffer from the caley curse when he eventually does leave.

Adam Rooney on Sportsound
Just listening to it on DAB. Chick Young and Traynor presenting.

Rooney is on BBC Scotland just now
As the title. Adam will be on the show on the radio just now. You can put questions to him via the BBC website.

DOES RYAN ESSON HAVE A SCOTTISH GRANNIE?
Love or hate MacGregor no one ia replacing him. I thought he was outstanding against Valencia. His save from Foran's header was world class too.

Manager of the month - October?
I heard if on MFR this morning. Superb choice. The club is going really well. There's an article on ictfc about the award. Hope he wears his oven gloves when he goes to pick it up.

Matchday Thread: Rangers -V- I.C.T.
I was surprised the BBC omitted that chance. I suppose they don't want to make us look TOO good...

Manager of the month - October?
Skacel had a massive impact after signing. Not so great yesterday. I think Hayes deserves it - IMVHO

if we get into Europe
A welsh club would be good. I'd like to go to Wales. Or a Swedish team. Out of interest, how far does a Scottish club have to go in the cup to secure a play-off place?

Manager of the month - October?
I noticed on the CBfootball 'site that your selections have to agree with their "expert panel" to win prizes. What are the chances of them picking Terry Butcher for manager of the month, Hayes for player and Ross for young player? Can't see them agreeing with my selection but all three are superb. (As are the rest of the team). I nearly went for Esson for player of the month. Anyone put their choices in to the 'site?

There's a cracking photo of the gaffer (number 15) on www.willievass.photoshelter.com. It looks like he's belting out the Foran song

Motherwell roll call
Just saw I've typed motherwill by accident. I'll blame the predictive text. Can someone change it please.
