Mrs dude and myself are going up for this one. We are making a long weekend of it. Going up Thursday via Newcastle, and back Tuesday via Sedgfield races. Train was going to cost more than 5 nights in various Travelodge.

Maybe a wee tour of england could be arranged. Not too expensive and some decent lower league teams would give us a test. Plus it would be closer, unless its Exeter. Huddersfield, Bradford, Leeds would be nice!

That happened to us at Dundee also. A bit Ironic considering its the Irn Bru Division 1, and you can't take any of said product into any game.

Done deal. Hotels booked, tickets ordered, kids going to their mother with the dug, mrs dude off the beer :thumb02: (so I don't have to drive) kids off school on the monday, so no mad rush down the road. All we need now is a win and trophy presentation. A Carlsberg weekend if ever I seen it. Potentially.

I know it sound a wee bit biased, but oor Tel must be in with a shout. He had to more or less rebuild a squad, with very little money, get them to play together in a league many hadn't played in before. Got us to a cup final, beat an SPL team in the cup, pulled back a 15 points deficit to potentially win the league. In england it has to be Roy Hodgson.

On P&B Jailender mentions it may have been a guy who "allegedly" has been throwing abuse at black players from a few teams recently. Apparently gave Odihambo a lot of grief in the Dingwall game recently.

Personally, I am optimistic, but trying to keep my excitment under control for the moment. The memory of being so close to SPL survival last season is still fresh in the memory, and I don't need another slap in the face like that :D . So until such times as we have as good as won the league, I will refrain from rubbing it in to Dundee and C*unty fans and gloating. Just in case.
