Yip mega kudos to Mr Foran. I have come across a lot of players in my time. And there is a spread of ages, remembering that like Joe Public 1 out of 4 footballers will suffer mental health problems at some stage of their life. The main presentations that I have come across are the youngsters who perceive that they have failed and the 40-50 group who can't adapt to life without football. There is a growing support system in England that I hope is duplicated in Scotland. And as ever prevention and education is the key and Mental Health staff are going into Academies regularly to spread the word.

Afraid that given his run of serious injuries this looks like career ending. My worry about signing McKay is that Meekings could be shunted to right back ?

Can't believe these reports after Tynie but music to the ears. Suspect that Richie did get angry and bollicked them all into having a discussion about themselves. Also benched Raven, Boden and Mulranney who were the three big let downs in Embra. Tansey and Vigurs and Polworth were probably lucky that there was no one to take over. Let's hope that Tynie was a learning curve for all concerned.

Replace failed to win with declined and took off abruptly

Actually I did try to look for positives but they were few. It shook me that players that have shone and impressed in the last couple of seasons looked so, so average. It was strange how many of our away support left well before the final whistle and the dread of a bigger embarrassment every time Hearts attacked. There really was a shocking lack of urgency and many heads went down after the second goal. But I firmly believe that Richie has to forget previous allegiances and friendship. If that means benching previous favourites and bringing on the kids - so be it !! I even fear that we will be pointless after five games and then it will be very difficult to make up the ground. Please, Please prove me wrong.
