  1. The other concern here Mantis is that Marley gets frustrated and cheesed off playing in a position that he does not favour and is more likely to look elsewhere where his skills and talent are utilised properly. Lets all pray that we get a break with a centre forward. Just when you think that we are heading in the right direction a feckin potentially long term set of road works pops up.
  2. I agree with the negativity. That is a point gained against fierce local rivals and playing without a recognised striker. Unbeaten in January and all the other games played with only one recognised striker.
  3. Oh dear - the sight of the slightest criticism and the rose coloured spectacles abound. If they brought in Ibra fer cover then why has he been shunted and does that not suggest that they were aware of the potential loss of McKay ? Anybody they bring in now will be subject to close monitoring but that is of their making.
  4. Follow the seer and you cannot go wrong .
  5. Sneak boy - get a feckin loaned table over to the TCS ASAP please.
  6. It would appear that you are all missing the point. We do NOT have any out and out centre forward types in the squad. We should have been planning for an immediate straight replacement fer Wee Billy not looking at playing other players out of position. Shure Marley can fill the gap (and filling the gap is what it should be) but that would lose and waste his prowess out wide. Christie is too lightweight and Ferguson is too raw. Fortunately we have probably got enuff in the tank to beat the caravan dwellers but it is further on in the season that worries me. This feels like a wee bit of over confidence in retaining Billy crept in and then Wigun, funded by a couple of transfers out, pounced with a doubling wages and extended contract proposal. I have been a great admirer of our management regime but this was amateur. I also evidently sincerely hope that Yogi pulls one out of the bag but that is now resting in the land of Luck and not in the Land of Anticipation and readiness as it should have been.
  7. The Seer advises to keep the covers on until 11.00 and game on.
  8. You have every right to criticise. Yogi has been doing a relatively flawless job up until now. This is clearly mismanagement.
  9. Katie Perry and Madonna to pair up - that could be a sexual feeling across the generations. Cannot believe that it is being played in Postman Pats village. Wilson and the Seahawks fer me. Marshawn Lynch MOM Do you get Sky in Grantown ya olde git ?

  11. Figians  Have we given them a date for the trial or are you just raisin our spirits.
  12. Jhesus just read the Chorley Guardian Hat-trick hero James Dean fired Chorley to their first win of 2015 against a struggling outfit in Gainsborough Trinity. Dean tormented the Blues’ defenders throughout the whole Vanarama Conference tie and scored three second half goals including one from the penalty spot after debutant Aaron Burns had earlier given Chorley the lead in the first half. Simon Russell scored a spot kick for the Blues in added time to reduce the deficit. The victory sees Chorley rise to fifth and back in the play-off places. Boss Garry Flitcroft brought new signings Burns and Matt Flynn into the side along with Dorney and Adam Roscoe. Flitcroft added that the signings were necessitated due to renewed interest in James Dean by a Scottish Premier outfit.
  13. Sounds like Yogi may have somebody waiting for a shout. If he doesn't it may be his first big Booboo. My brother-in-law from Wigun states that we have been trying to get Andy Delort on loan.
  14. TIME NOW FOR JAMES DEAN ?

Just seen Billy on the Wigan to Preston train. It stopped at Chorley Euxton and James Dean got on and sat beside Billy. The intrigue continues !!

One last hurrah against County ??
  20. Good pLayers are not simply scouted. They have to impress on the training ground and on the pitch. As stated there are considerably more gaffs than there are successes. The reason that Butcher succeeded is that they lowered their sights and looked at stand out players at a lower level.

If he goes to Wigun he will not be playing in the Championship next season.
  24. On further consideration this is probably more apt.
