  1. My attempt at psychic messaging to those with lower intelligence appears to have worked.
  2. If we had got 6-9 points it would be simply a boring anti-climax.
  3. What this thread requires at this time is some psychological words of wisdom from a professional perspective. What a poor week. 2 feckin points out of 9, lose a lead 3 times at home, can't beat a team who went down to 10 men and 1-0 after 5 minutes and fail to beat the whopping boys of the league. And then we show more indiscipline and make the squad depletion even worse. What a feckin disaster. But WHOA - let's reflect and take in the bigger picture. Have the footballing gods been with us or not ? We are now possibly in a stronger position than we were before we kicked off against Kille. Just look at the table. And then look at the fixture list. MASSIVE game next week but what a feckin booster a win would be. And then - well time to recuperate, regroup, refresh and hopefully RETURN. It gives us time to get the injured back, it gives us time to get the newbies more aware of the system, blend in and increase their fitness levels. It also serves suspension and highlights the need fer discipline to ALL concerned. This is actually the time to get behind the team and the team to repay the loyalty of 3000 frustrated followers. That is all fer now as I need to let my kilt in the mothballs and dust off my passport. Looks like old IHE will have to don the outfit again, at least twice, show of the tat and embarrass his family.
  4. Apparently that is what Jimmy Nicholl just said as well.
  5. Well Yogi ain't no William feckin Wallace then !
  6. If everything stays as it is we are 8 points clear - if we lose it looks like being no change but if there was ever a focus for a half time gee up then this is it - big 45 and let's hope that Yogi gets them flying out of the blocks.
  7. May well be, might be. TOSH. If there was a contingency plan it would have been mentioned by now and probably using ver much the same verbosity.
  8. But SPFL clearly also shows that Raven should have got a second yellow as well - but how did the ref miss the blatant Shift push on Shinnie in the first half. A clear yellow. And if Marley had left is leg in instead of hurdling there would have been two Arab keepers dismissed.
  9. Commentary on SPFL clearly describes Shifty as pushing Warren in the back and also clearly shows the act. No clip of what happened afterwards though.
  10. Sneaky and should have been punished but at the end of the day it was what the ref and linesman saw that counts. Retaliation gets punished too. Warren was clearly set up but also reacted.
  11. Maybe so and it looks like both should have been sent packing. But this is where the thought of "Keep the Head", smile and walk away comes in to play. Not easy to do for most but should be the instinct of a professional footballer playing for a team in great need of discipline, example and togetherness.
  12. When you are faced with that type of provocation you do NOT go head to head.
  13. And don't let him go out in Inverness at weekends ?
  14. Sorry but we have the clear capability to come third and get to the Cup Final dependent on the draw. BUT does our meagre squad have the stamina to last the course. They are giving their all at the moment and have been for weeks. And lo and behold that means trying to avoid injuries at training etc. and being disciplined (both on and OFF the pitch). Would love to see the stats for cards month to month this season - perhaps I am wrong. Perhaps we are trying too hard ?
  15. Well this thread has got quite a few topics. 1 - I suspect that most of us would have taken 1-1 before the game. It has always proved difficult to play against 10 men and the 11 are on a hiding to nothing. The Arabs simply could not afford to lose and that must have spurred them on. 7 shots at Tannadice usually suffices. 2 - It sounds like the ref put his mark on the game in the first minute - a time where most refs allow most challenges to go with a bollicking or was it a really bad one. He then produces a red 4 minutes later and he has no option but to tread the same path throughout and that often leads to evening things out. 3 - the tackle timings of Raven and Warren have been suspect for weeks. Those two plus Draper have been too erratic recently. Marley has probably suffered from being the hard working lone striker and his tackling is as suspect as the aforementioned three. It is difficult for Warren when he is faced with the likes of McGennis and Shifti but that is when centre halves have to be sly and clever. 4 - look at the bench last night and that shows our squad cover - you can't prepare for injuries but suspensions could implode our season. On our day we are as good as any team in Scotland. We have the best chance ever of THE best season ever. Playing the same 11 every week drains us. Let's hope that we have enuff in the tank to get to the end of the glory road. 5 - As I have alluded to before we were clearly not expecting wee Billy to go and Wigan came in at the last minute due to the money they got late in the window. How come we found three trialists now. We could have looked at what spondoolachs we had IF Billy went and planned for a more able deputy OR squad cover.
  16. Worrying - Sneckboy where are we up to with suspensions ?
  17. Would it not be great if Devine and Doran saved our season - give me their feckin twitters and I wiil challenge them
  18. Come on we would have all taken a point before kick off and we did and do now NOT have a centre forward and we do NOT have a centre Half. That is what happens when you are threadbare and I disciplined. And we are getting drained. Next two games were winnable but now it is PLEASE.
  19. Let's face it - most of us would have taken a point tonight - but as I pointed out recently Gary Warren has lost the plot - it is sending offs like that feck off our season.
  20. Never easy playing against 10 me but better with 11 - our discipline at times is shocking.
