  1. Those will undoubtedly be some of the reasons that Butcher will eventually come out with - or probably through his Mispass Puppet. Butcher went for one main reason and that was to put himself in the capital limelight or perhaps he was beginning to be rumbled at the TCS ?? I presume that you have not been at Easter Road recently.
  2. Mourhino is a one-off but he does not try and put on a front. He is very forthright and in many ways "open". He will never stay still for any period of time. Di Canio is simply a loose cannon. We should actually be better off tactically without Butcher. They have little ability to empathize and everything is on their terms: Someone with narcissistic tendencies doesn’t really see things from your world or from your point of view. Everything is about them and what they want. They ignore your needs in the relationship and only focus on getting what they want or what works best for them. They will always be their number one priority and everyone else will always come after that. They cheat, lie or manipulate and don’t feel remorse: Narcissists don’t really empathize so when they do something to hurt you, they don’t really feel remorseful. This can actually be the most hurtful part because it may make you feel like they never cared about you at all. Moving on can be very hard because a lot of people feel that they need closure or apologies that they will never get from narcissistic people. When it’s all over, it’s like you never mattered: A classic case narcissist mostly uses people for their own gain and has very little emotional connection to those that are in their lives. Because of this, they discard people in their lives very easily.
  3. Feck me is that not dangerous - Turkey at Xmas.
  4. It is simply a step towards the Sevco job. I am rarely wrong.
  5. I might even buy him a feckin dram - well deserved.
  6. That is your most sensible post EVER
  7. Possibly watched the wrong video again ?
  8. "Am I surprised that Butcher has gone?" - NO
  9. It is about time the La Scala came back to Sneck.
  10. I am reliably informed that this could be a Maradonna / Juanjo combo.
  11. Ouch Honestly , I thought TB should stayed , won a league Cup (very possible) and he would have become an iconic figure in ITCFC history. Now everythings obviously fractured , opinions divided , reputation scarred to a degree and a bloody good job , well done , possibly forgotten , Well the Judas and Derby bit was of course sarcastic and inflammatory but you were a tad sharp yerself initially. I am afraid that the manner and timing of his departure have dulled many of the good things that happened before. Many fans believed in the virtue, honesty and apparent loyalty of TB and I would say that he has angered some to the core due to an act of pure selfishness.
  12. Appointing Sheils would be calamitous.
  13. Watch out Don - you are becoming Butcheresque !!!
  14. Butcher was an inspiration, leader, mouthpiece and character but not a tactician. I would only welcome Adams in order to wind the backstabber up - unless Diego is free.
  15. Never knew that Judas had family in Derby. I would actually have accepted this if it had been a team with potential and a rival in our own division, that it didn't happen in mid season when we are going along nicely, that it hadn't ended in such disgraceful circumstances. If it had been me I would have waited until the end of this season and looked for a bigger team with more potential. But I an not at the same level of narcissism and I don't have the future Sevco job in my sights.
  16. But he said that he had never been contacted !!
  17. Smashing - hammer the Jam Tarts and retreat to a pub to watch the rugger.
  18. Suits me sir !! That's me and Govan Jeggie then - Bring if feckin on
  19. He was a number 2 at Easter Road then ?
  20. Former Sydney FC coach Terry Butcher has let fly over his time in the A-League, labelling his experience in Australia “a total nightmare”. Butcher, who now coaches Scottish side Inverness, mentored Sydney in the 2006/07 A-League season, but was sacked after his side was ousted in the first round of the finals series. More than two years on, Butcher has revealed to UK newspaper The Times he took particular exception to his treatment by the Australian media and said his time with Sydney was marred by political problems. “It was a total nightmare,” Butcher was quoted as saying. “Sydney had won the league title the year before (under Pierre Littbarski) but I couldn’t sign anyone, there were political problems at the club and everything went wrong. “I received a hell of a lot of resentment as well. “I was absolutely hammered by the press … I used to try to write articles for the Sydney Morning Herald but I got hammered for absolutely everything. “They even called me a hobo,” he added, referring to a comment made by SBS commentator Les Murray about his dress sense. Everything was a test and day after day there was another problem but we got through them," he said. "We were like a gypsy club and I felt like a nomad. My office was on the 18th floor of a shopping complex, we had a rented stadium and no home. Butcher revealed he relied on phone calls and internet chats with his former Motherwell sidekick Maurice Malpas to get him through the hard times. "It must have been like the Samaritans in the early weeks when things weren't going well for either of us," he says. And he even blames The Ashes for driving a rift between him and the Aussies. "The Ashes didn't help," he added. "I'm not saying they were anti-English, but you could sense there was not the same humour that exists between the Scots and the English." http://youtu.be/02HeUKygnZ0
