What was the red dot for ?

I know a very personable Howden Ender who continues to cherish his past but doesn't mind socialising with Jeggies and would never ever follow Ross County or Elgin City because they were the old enemies.

I was hoping that Adams to Well and Brewster to Tinkerville.

They do play his style of football though.

Brewster has just left Crawley as well.

I am reliably informed that we are talking to Will Grigg and George Bowerman from Walsall. Others on the radar are Sean Ward from Glentoran. But the one that may be the best of the lot is a potential loan deal for Chuba Akpom from Arsenal.

Away End looked sold out to me.

Well I am still going to Rhyl.

The "compensation" word was sarcasm but I have to respond to these two posts. Playing Highland league teams is NOT the preparation required for the SPL and that was shown this season. It is a pity that the old tournament idea has not hit us. A four team tournament with teams from say Ireland etc. held in Sneck or even jointly with Tinkerville over a weekend would take in some bucks and it would give proper game preparation. And finally I would be disappointed if our back room money pinchers had not put some spondoolachs aside in case the European adventure did come along. Training camps are also the place where newbies begin to fit in.

And ditto from the oldest swinger in town Good points from Big G and there are a lot of positives and succinctly pointed out. Despite the disappointment there was certainly a distinctive return of the "togetherness" factor - on and off the park. The crowds are growing and the fun factor has returned. And the club is in safe hands. But inquests are necessitated and lessons have to be learned. The major positive to me is that we have retained a fair number of the squad and I cant wait to see what we pick up from the Englandshire sales.

That does make interesting viewing and tends to knock back a lot of comments about our crowds. You would have thought that those 15 extra people per game would have paid for a B&B in Europe !!

Well it still aint wholly clear but there is reason to it. I suspect that the wage had a fair bit to do with it too. I have to admit to be slightly miffed as a fit Hogg would be pushing fer a first team place. Will be interesting to see where he ends up. Will he drop a level ?

Think that it was mainly becos of our heady position in the SPL that made the difference.

Would ICT arrange a wee pre season trip - Ireland, Eire or across the North Sea to whet the appetites of all concerned fer next season ?

Mutual agreement is the management equivalent of avoidance. Would it not be better if we had a clear explanation - especially from the lips of Chris Hogg.

There are evidently pros and cons fer this season. As far as I am concerned the final outcome has been very disappointing. But there is one extreme positive that does not appear to have been mentioned. For some time I found myself having to kick off the singing and now I am merely a choirboy. Our yoof support has grown and grown and that to me is the big plus fer this season and it can only get better and better, To the young lads I feckin salute ya all.

Why would the good people of Inverness go to a game where the club want to be second best ?

The only compensation is that we look like holding on to the nucleus of this squad and Varsella could pick up a few more aces in the close season. We may have really fecked up this season but we have put the expectation bar fer next season. If only TB would look at his flaws we could be in fer a big season.

Can't believe some of the posts on here and elsewhere. At the start of the season what do players and fans look fer. SUCCESS. So we celebrate the fact that we fecked up a League Cup semi final and a place in the Europa Cup - bollicks.
