  1. Butcher is on borrowed time already and I am sure that he will be spending the next few weeks running his eye over the entire squad - training isnt always the best place to do that - matches are and I would be hoping that the squad at the moment are doing their uptmost to impress Butcher as it is either their lifeline or opportunity to challenge. The lack of goals is worrying but at least Butch will now have learned that you cant play Rooney and Wood together.
  2. Most satisfying replies - As a master in the art of smileyography - it is a well known fact that smileys are only utilised when the poster knows that they have no logical or structured response to offer. What a pity that the erselickers cant decipher the content and context of my posts. But again that is the essence of tunnel vision.
  3. What's Jim Calder doing these days ?
  4. Birdog - Read my posts again - I agree with all that you say and that was what I was trying to put across - Brewster has alot to answer fer but so do the Board. What total garbage - Where have I asked to replace the Board ? - I have asked for a public apology. Savage may have hired Brewster but Sutherland backed him and supported him when it was clear that Brew had fecked it all up. If they were unaware of the problems and clouded in the past - then perhaps they should be sacked - The dressing room problems were out in the open fer months. The last sentence is OK and that is why I feel that if the Board came out and made a statement that it would only help the cause.
  5. Loads of "ifs" there JB - Hopefully will all bear fruit - Of Course Butcher is a good appointment - I actually think that the Board have finally learned from the whole ridiculous chaos - Read my posts - It is about what went on before that I am harping on about. You should read the posts as well !! Brewster made a total mess of it on the park and in the dressing room - most posters are blaming Brewster outright - the Board backed him - didnt they ? They acted ?!! - They had no feckin choice - They made atotal erse of it. Signing 7 players was an act of face saving and club saving desperation - perhaps we shouldnt have got rid of so many or bought so badly prior to this window. All I am saying is that the Board have made a feckin total mess of the last 18 months. But thanks fer the accolade - I feel that my efforts did bring about change and it is nice to be heralded fer once. Again agreed - Read the feckin post - great business - and did they do great business before that ? Were you happy with the manner in which they conducted themselves ? Was DS correct in publically chastising the support and the Trust ? Have they not made several major mistakes ? Did we not have to almost go into the mire before decisions were made ? You need a chip implanted in yer tunnel visioned brain. :018: ;) So look at my two posts again ya trio of numpties - look at what i am saying and what I am asking fer. I hoped that the Board had learned some harsh lessons and they can learn from Butcher as well. They have ostracised themselves from the support and it is THEY that should be doing something constructive to repair it. And wouldnt it be nice if we had just a modicum of remorse publically proclaimed. Not much chance of that - or is there ?
  6. That wasnt a wind up - it is a feckin fact.
  7. I thought you thought the board were an apology? I always thought that the Board had the true interests of the club and the city at heart - I have had admiration fer many of them - and - to different degrees I still do - the original Board took us on an unbelievable journey - I/you/we are indebted to the Board of yore (totally) - BUT we were a "family club" - with a total sense of togetherness and a rather unique sense of honesty and openess. In the last couple of years it feels like individual agendas, egos, power bases, business interests and (yes) greed and inane stuborness have prevailed. Secrecy has been the by word. We have been deceived - we have been treated like eejits - we have been used as tokenistic prats - we have been recently blamed and ridiculed - and now we are being patronised. The present says that we were mostly right all along - that is not being chuffed or in a didnt I tell you sense - that is really out of sheer relief that we have outed the muppetry - we have taken on a Manager on the same planet as us. But it totally sticks in the throat that the muppets are sitting there in silence and potentially smugly thinking that Butcher has saved their bacon. When they apologise or simply repent - I will consider a truce - and every fan should realise that this is not about Craig Brewster - it is about the muppets who contolled him, got him to fire the bullets and put this club to the wall. LONG LIVE INVERNESS CALEDONIAN THISTLE - LONG REIGN TERRY BUTCHER - LETS GIVE THE TEAM THE FULL BACKING TOWARDS SURVIVAL - BUT FECK THE BOARD - Until they have the feckin guts to say"we were wrong" and "We are sorry".
  8. DEEP BREATH Ralph - BE CAREFUL - This could backfire.
  9. May I suggest that EXTREME pressure is applied by this forum, Boardroom Banter and the Supporters Trust to request an explanation of the events of the last month and an "apology" to the Supporters Trust and the fans in regard to the suggestion that they were going to stick with Brewster and that the fans were creating problems and were acting in the detrimental interest of the club. Everything in the last week shows that they were WRONG ? Wouldnt it be feckin a big step forward IF they actually apologised ?
  10. Oh my gawd - this could all suggest that the Board are a bunch of negligent muppets. Cos if they knew that they were losing players becos of Brewster - they would have kicked him out months ago - and certainly wouldnt have given him the money to spend in the transfer window
  11. Todd Carty looks good as well. Zebidee had his 15 minutes of fame - lets not push it !!
  12. It was me, I'm willing to take full credit . LIAR DOH
  13. OK - I am reliably informed that an ICT fan from Latvia actually alerted the club to the possibility of signing Pavel - and did a lot of the leg work - I am less reliably informed that there is an Eastern european sponsor on board as well - with the enticement of some more prospects - but I am also informed that the Muppets are worried in case their power base could be eroded from another source.
  14. Brewster and Arshavin - What a feckin headline !!! Kerr has a lot to prove and coming here may just be the catalyst - another shrewd signing - Feck me - What if the Board had done all of this a bit sooner ??
  15. Just sent ma txt ESSON TOKELY PAVEL GRANTY ROYSTER VIGURS DUNCAN BLACK IMRIE MORAIS FORAN
  16. Butcher looked a wee bit shellshocked at the departure of Don Cowie. It certainly leaves us with ONE problem position. I would go with Vigurs as we always have Imrie/Foran on the left. I know that Vigurs is left footed and his favoured position is more central - but what is the alternative. Proctor doesnt have it - all the rest have too much forward momentum. I suspect that Royster will drop to left back. BUT - Should be hook Bazza back from QOS or does Terry have one more card to play in the window - what is happening with Kerr ?
  17. Feck me Dead Ball is back in the feckin loving sixties - Lionel plugged a hole today but that is about it. I thought Barrowman had a good 20-30 first half minutes and then got a bit lost. Imrie was left with no support - for some reason Barrowman seemed to be dropping back. I expect that he does look good in training as he is a "poacher" - A penalty box striker who preys on the last man - but you cant do that in the SPL. Imrie surprised me but he isnt a striker - but he evidently can do the job if he has to - I suspect that TB will go fer Foran and Morais when they are fit and Dougie drops back into midfield. The good thing is that I thought that the first team would pick itself but there is plenty of competition now.
  18. Aye and if ya drenched it in Maple syrup it would be a feckin a la carte offering.
  19. Zebidee is to ICT what Todd Carty is to Dancing on Ice - but did he put a fine feckin shift in during the last quarter.
  20. Did you notice that he kept looking at txts on his mobile in the second half ?
  21. agree not his best game but he tried to impress the new boss i said on the previous post he was lucky to have stayed on the park a player who keeps getting banned is no good to anyone He worked his socks off though and got better the longer the game went on - dont forget that he hasnt played many first team games of late - Have to agree that his dead ball delivery was very poor.
  22. I am led to believe that Brew had very little to do with it apart from the "rubber stamping" which must have been easy.
  23. Considering Celtics budget compared to ours and our home form over the last period, yes I am basking in it, but more importantly I am basking in the teams desire and commitment today Plus the fact that a system is emerging, there is a sense of togetherness and we are playing to our strengths - if only the Muppets had wised up sooner !!
  24. If nothing else your roses will come up beautiful this year. No - he is under the slabs where ma Labrador Blackie poops every morning.
