  1. Be there or be square - all the top boys are going.
  2. To be honest - he makes a mistake and plays well - that is part and parcel of it. If he makes a BIG mistake he should be hooked pronto, the team undoes the one off damage and his position is reviewed. Personally I dont think that he is a full back with a defenders natural insticnt or positioning. Butcher has made it clear that perform and you will play - Zadi is passing muster at the moment. I really hope that I am wrong but I dont think that he can maintain the level of performance - but I also dont think that Butcher would allow it to drift into dangerousness.
  3. But - at least - he appears to be an actual "fan" and is also encouraging his family to be fans - He is Sneckie born and bred - he has evidently worked his way up the ranks - feck me he isnt a feckin jaggie I hope !! That is a good CV but my concern is what do we need from somebody with his credentials. If it is becos the club doesnt want to make the same kind of total recruitment feck ups that it has made in the last few years - great - at least they are beginning to feckin learn. If it is to impress Butcher - great. If it is to look at the personnel side of the club and look at JD's and individual roles - great. That may lead to a further chucking out of some lazy, useless dregs - and save money. Maybe I am getting soft but it feels as if the muppets may be finally learning from their mistakes and trying to make them rite. I suspect that Our Wullie wouldnt have tolerated the Brew situation and wouldnt have been conned into the Marius farce. Do these geezers usually have a Psychology degree - that is what makes them dangerous !!
  4. It was even around in my day - Planefield Panthers - with a certain Billy Urquhart. Think our main opponents were Dalneigh Dynamos, Lochbroom and some team from the Crown. By the way I was the captain.
  5. And Watford won on Demerit, the Butler couldnt handle the Doyley, Watford did just about Mcanuff to win it and they popped their Cork at the end.
  6. ICT v Dunfermline ; Celtic v Rangers
  7. I look a little out of focus. That's kind of how i felt that whole weekend. Good times! Even a couple of drunken hours in the Portland :thumb04:
  8. I am merely attempting to carry out a psychological assessment and John can add my formulation to his CV which I am shure will get him a new job in the near future.
  9. Mmm - rare phottie of Mrs IHE - and whos the **** in the Number 13 Rugby shirt ?
  10. Sorry, but what is the big deal about being an Academy pupil??? I went to the other school and it hasn't done me any harm!!! Pupils who had the misfortune of being edikated at the other schools tend to be sensitive to perceived critisism. Och - be more direct - pass the 11 plus with colours and ya went to the Academy - scrape through or narrowly fail and ya went to the High School - fail to turn up or write anything ya went to the Millburn. How old is Our Wullie then ? Was he into sports at IRA ? I may be wrong but Caley D is being polite - I suspect that he may be suggesting that the Personnel side of the club needs addressing - watch out Mike feckin Smiff. And feck me - he is almost following in ma footsteps - perhaps I was a role model ? - Willie (IHE) was raised in Inverness and educated at the University of Aberdeen (Manchester) where he graduated with an Honours degree in Psychology (snap) and afterwards a Postgraduate Diploma in Personnel. He went on to pursue a career in management within the NHS, based in London (Chorley).

  12. And why would he join a bunch of muppets who clearly didnt like him ?
  13. re zadi weak link see match report in todays scotland on sunday http://scotlandonsunday.scotsman.com/sport...ss-1.4981961.jp MAN OF THE MATCH A few contenders in the Inverness ranks and Danny Swanson made a late bid for the accolade when he came on, but Lionel Djebi-Zadi was impressive at left back for the visitors and largely responsible for his side taking something from this match. QUICK FACT Inverness have the worst defensive record in the top flight but since Terry Butcher's arrival have not lost a game. They have still only taken two points from a possible 30. TALKING POINT The sending off. Whether Danny Swanson was denied a clear goalscoring opportunity when he would still have had to beat Ryan Esson is one for the visiting fans to debate. The full article contains 1026 words and appears in Scotland On Sunday newspaper. Gawd - yet another person who doesnt read posts - I said that I though that he was "a potential weak link" and I stick to that.
  14. I will stick a large voddy and coke on ICT, if I win I'll never have to buy a drink again, if I lose I shall console myself with the fact that I will be contributing towards a hangover for the Amazing Johndo. But everybody loved Marius and decried him being called a mercenary ? He kissed the badge and ran to the North stand which proved his undying allegiance ? He was whiter that white - an honest and upstanding citizen - he only ever had ICT at heart. And our Board would never treat anybody like this or err in the matter of contracting ? So why would he sue ? Do you note that the money is in Euros ? If Marius had damaged the club would he pay up ? Wait for it - Off Corsa he would. :thumb04: What bet - settled out of court for a nominal fee :018:
  15. If the'rotting core' were instrumental in recruited TB and Co, lets hope it is more of their type that come onto the Board and we will preserve them for a long time! Very adeptly put Locutus - very adeptly put TB came to us - the muppets had to make the decision - they had to show face after Brewster. Charlie B - How old is Willie ? Is it the younger brother of James ? Still Academy education and breeding is a plus. Did a certain Keith Wyness not eminate form FWB ? - Lets face it my Uncle George is just keeping the seat warm fer our wullie.
  16. I was staying at Kinmylies at the time and the Bothan was a regular pit stop - When we worked up the Craig it was really a choice of the Royal Ordnance or the Muirtown. Lizi - there were so many gorgeous burds in those days - what else made you stand out ?
  17. Well - that was an injection of fresh blood and the opinion of the yoofs. :thumb04: :018: ;)
  18. Note that my last post created an eerie "silence" - Apologies if I inadvertently veered close to the truth - after all I know feck all about it. :thumb04: Latest betting to win is Marius Evens and ICT 250,000/1 At least some punters will soon know why we couldnt spend in the summer and why we had to hook Denzil, Bayne and Wilson. Oh and thank feck fer sponsorship in the January Window.
  19. Yip - I suspect that this will be Rosscoes final season if / when we avoid relegation - I could live with Proctor providing cover but rite back is the position that we have to address in the summer. I dont have it in fer Lionel - I only have ever seen him playing in the Cellic game - I simply dont think that he is a full back and I am also concerned that he has lapses in concentration and has very poor defensive positional sense. He has however shown the desire and the committment and - so far - has got through games without a mishap. Quite simply he hasnt let us down but I just fear that the mishap/s will come and we cant afford that. Believe it or not I would put Hastings in front of him but Royster by a country mile.
  20. I thought Proctor was excellent yesterday.... covered every blade of grass and looked comfortable on the ball. No lack of effort or commitment from him. Put in a few decent tackles.. another player who has enjoyed a transformation under Butcher. Foran has shown a few decent touches, but is very patchy... looks short of match practice to me. Just think what he would have been like if he hadnt been thrown in consistently as a central defender - that was actually the strangest decision of any that Brew and the Muppets made. The transformation is as much due to the positional change.
  21. Believe it or not I wholly agree - but I suspect that Butcher may favour Kerr in front of pickin Vigurs or even Royster. Butcher has made it crystal clear that he will stick to the players when they are not losing - a bit predictable perhaps - but we have moaned about the lack of continuity under brewster who changed it every game. I suspect that Butcher is stcicking to this ethos even if he has doubts - fair do's - I think / hope he knows what he is doing - and judging by the benches he has players who could come on if the shittt does hit the fan.
  22. It is frustrating when ya cant get to matches or watch Alba but - I note the differing views on Zadi who I feel is a potential weak link. Little appears to have been said about Foran and Proctor. I also felt that Proctor was on borrowed time and I really thought that Foran would have been played up front - what are these two performing like ?
  23. Fer fecks sake - he aint exactly a "star" player - but he is undoubtedly the most improved player. I am far from convinced as he has too many flaws - but he is the man in possession - but oh how I wish that Royster hadnt been sent off at Tynie as he would have walked in to the position.
  24. Imrie and Eric are evidently the chosen two - and even it is about their pace and harrying they will be an effective pairing - especially away from home. Rooney is raw - not as raw as Wood - and has far more potential than Barrowman. Rooney is the type of player who you take on as a sub - and gives the alternative of a target man. I suspect that Rooney is the first choice in reserve OR will it be Foran ?
