  1. Why do you always have to be so negative and pessimistic ?
  2. Hopefully the muppets won't have a say anymore! Unfortunately they may to kick off with - but Butcher is clearly his own man - will be interesting how things pan out in the next few weeks - I am hopeful that the Boards support of Brew and choice of Butcher is going to blow up in their smug faces.
  3. Plus he didnt beat around the bush about Cowie - straight answers to straight questions - I bet that would have been a Boardroom secret fer feckin weeks before - Hope he keeps on telling us straight and keeps us updated. I am beginning to warm to him as our Board must be a wee bit worried. How did he come across Charlie B ?
  4. Spot on. I also think that hate is too big a word - frustrated and pisssed of yes. I would have been happy with a sourfaced, miserable ******* as long as they could manage and coach.
  5. Add a second - who do you play at left back - Royster suspended; Gatheuusi and Hastings injured - Ian Vigurs ? But the muppets might suggest Grant Munro ?
  6. Its all about "belief" and the "fans" - belief has to be built up and progress is the first thing to go for - Hastings out,Gattheussi not as bad an injury as thought, Morais back in training but not match fit - Cowie HAS signed the pre contract with Watford - but he isnt ruling any of them out. And he slipped and referred to Inverness Caley - The guy is a feckin brammer :thumb04: :018:
  7. Sounds a bit like Marius Niculae.
  8. Giving his negative comments about Ian Black and pre-contracts - and with Cowie almost deffo going to Watford - what does Butcher do ? Black and Cowie will both be in the same boat - will he play them or bench them or drop them ? I know what the "advice" will be from the muppets but you cant treat them differently - I really hope that he plays them both as we dont have anyone to replace them (yet). As sombody already stated it didnt affect the Machine - did it ? I have to agree with Butcher that I dont like the concept of these pre contract agreements and it is an agreement which is perhaps better being wrapped up in secrecy. The selections over the next few games are going to be very interesting.
  9. Dodgy knee but has scored goals wherever he has gone - If fit he is better than what we have got
  10. If he feckin climbs on a horse, gallops along the main stand and screams "Alba gu bra" he will have my undying support.
  11. I have no doubt that he can manouvre the chopper into position - I am more worried who is going to bale out of the fecker and carry us to safety - Maurice Malpas ? Pity the crew didnt have more local knowledge and werent being shown the rope by the village eejits.
  12. The answer is NO - because the final decision was swayed by internal politics and ego orientated numpties. Having said that - Butcher would have been my second choice - but I would have loved to see Barry wilson or Charlie Christie - with the local knowledge - employed as the assitant or assistants. Malpas is a muppet with a long list of failures. But as some have alluded to - we have no time to squabble and we simply have to back the man and the team.
  13. It should get better with an accomplished goalkeeper, defenders playing in the correct positions, midfielders played to their strengths, two up front, timely substitutions, dressing room cohesion, a crowd behind the team, a settled system and goals from open play - Gawd those were the days !!
  14. Which is a definite impovement in comparison with what we have had to suffer fer the last two years !! I am not sure whether there are that many positives at the moment - BUT - If we stay up and Butcher decides to carry on - then there are MEGA positives. Lets face it - Butcher has one goal to aim for this season.
  15. I'm a commoner too Hairy - We are two of a kind. Gawd bless ya lad.
  16. And obviously a step towards winning the UEFA Cup. :thumb04: :018: Feckin extreme optimism - I love it. Relegated and in the UEFA Cup - where have we seen that before ?
  17. yes it's a common saying Yip very common - :thumb04: :018:
  18. Well if I called Brewster that I would have a feckin warning - but hey - that may be a sign of the times changing fer the good - Could have been worse - you could have called the Jail Ender a qypsy. :thumb04: :018: ;)
  19. There were a lot of plusses in the way John Doc set up the team at Tynie..... But for a couple of questionable refereeing decisions we should have taken at least 1 point from that one. The Doc should be consulted over the lineup/tactics for the Celtic game. If the players perform to their capabilities a decent result will not be beyond them. Gatheussi at right Back ? Rosscoe and Duncan in central midfield ? Cowie gawd knows where ? Wood up front on his own ? Taking on Proctor ? Putting Munro at left back ? Hooking Vigurs ? Putting Black on the bench with no thought of playing him ? Taking on Rooney with five minutes to play. We stayed in the game becos of two great dead ball goals methinks.
  20. don't know what you're getting at DOH - Think about it ? It could be construed as a personal attack
  21. I'm more of the opinion, once a pr!ck always a pr!ck :015: :D :thumb04: :018: ;) A thorn in the feckin side perhaps !!
  22. A must win in the sense of morale and confidence.
  23. Not sure of Butchers pedigree but I hope he makes an impact - a "yes" man he is not. He should have the respect and the aura to pump up the passion and he may attract some more (unfortunately) loan signings in fer the cause. A temporary fix but a necessity given the Boards blunderings. But who is going to guide him in the next very important three games ? That is a big worry of mine. Butcher and Malpas are starting from scratch - He couldnt have learned much from Tynie apart from seeing clearly who should be starting - I count that as 5. Cellic is the perfect start fer him - he has nowt to lose and everything to gain - the performances will be more important than the result. But what about the selection, the formation and the tactics - he will have to rely on the numpties who have been picking the team fer months. Now Butcher will inevitably see through them and change it - but we dont have the time and that worries me. We are on the edge of a cliff holding on by the tips of our fingers
  24. They are playing a game behind the scenes - If we go down everything will change in the management sense.
  25. Butcher could well be the bait ?
