  1. Havent had time to peruse the match comments and as I intend to pontificate more than usual I will just feckin get on with it. IMHO this match put our season into perspective and should define the remainder of it. At least I would hope that is also how Brew, our coaching staff, the management and the players are contemplating the situation today. To be fair the first half was quite entertaining and we probably edged it - we didnt deserve to go in behind. We palyed some pretty stuff at times - unfortunately not in the last third though. We had three half chances and their goal was yet another Hastings duffer and offside to boot. At half time it was anybodys game. Falkirk edged the second and they defended and tried to hit on the break. How Rooney didnt get a penalty is beyond me - it could have been a sending off as well - and then the ref didnt even appear to think about booking Rooney as he was clear through on goals. The ref also gave some strange decisions against us but that may well be down to the stick he was getting from Tokely and Duncan. So in the end we were unlucky - or were we ? That was a poor Falkirk side and they were there fer the taking. We are being punished for not taking our chances but we aint getting much luck either. But tactically we got it all wrong again as per feckin usual. And when I look at personal performances not many got pass marks. I would really appreciate feedback on this as I cant be the only one who is thinking the following - am I. ESSON :021: :D :D :D I liked what I saw. He is a bit in the mould of a hypomanic Jim Calder-esque keeper. He is full of energy and always looks to play the quick ball - usually the easy ball, by throwing - not taking his time and hoofing - Mikey could learn from that. ROSSCOE :D :D :D He is my all time fave BUT - I used to cringe at him a times but I usually had the confidence that he would redeem himself. That confidence is draining. He lost his man on a few occasions last night, players got in behind him and McCann left him dead with pace a few times. He will always give it his all but he was aslo very close to a red card last nite - in similiar cirumstances Black would have been hooked. HASTINGS :D :D :thumb04: :018: Why is Brew perservering. The lad can defend but he is making costly mistakes. He gifted the ball to McCann to set up the goal. He may not have got a lot of cover from Imrie but he hasnt got much of a clue when he is the attacking option and he struggles to get back. MUNRO :D :D :D Methinks Granty is still not 100% and may be carrying an injury. He passed muster but he is nowhere near as mobile or commanding as he can be. And he simply has to stop feckin hoofing it. DUFF :D :D :D :D :D MOM by a feckin mile. This lad belied his yoof and looked like a proven pro last night. Gives you the warm feeling that he would die for the shirt. IMRIE :D :D ;) He is OK on the left when he has to defend but he looked totally cheesed off and ineffective being played on the rite. Was it me or did he get so frustrated that his head clearly went down and he faded out of the game totally. DUNCAN :D :D :D I will give him pass marks but why the hell play him as the defensive midfielder and the playmaker - GTF Brewster - He is as good a defensive midfielder as there is in the SPL but his forte is sweeping up and playing the simple ball. McBAIN :015: :D :P Can anybody tell me where he was supposed to have been playing last nite ? What was his feckin role ? I bet nobody feckin knows. He could be a good full back but he is being played here there and everywhere without any clear reason. COWIE :D :D :D Some good touches in the first half but went missing in action in the second. Did anybody notice where he was when he had the chances at goal - correct - on the right on his right foot - He must be even more cheesed off than Imrie but not as much as me. WOOD :D :D Showed a couple of bustling runs last nite - It shows how desperate and depleted we are that we are giving him a run in the SPL and not sharpening him up on loan in the SFL. ROONEY :D :D :D Beginning to improve bit by bit - Looks more mobile, more eager and more pacey. BAZZA and BARROWMAN - By the time they came on we were chasing the game and Falkirk were defending their lead. They had no chance. Poor VIGURS must have thought what is the point ? At least after 82 minutes Brewster had the team on the park that should have feckin started !!!! So tactically - another feckin farce. I can understand why he played the back five but that must surely be the game that calls fer changes. Esson showed that we have enuff goalkeeping back up; Duff and Munro could gel; but both full backs need benching. Why persevere with playin the wide men on the wrong foot when it clearly isnt working. Both Cowie and Imrie looked deflated. Play Duncan where he is at his best, play Vigurs from the start and please put Royster in at left back. But it is the forwards that really worry me - None of them are up to the SPL (yet) and I am not sure whether any of them can run the line alone. I am swaying towards Rooney at the moment - but one thing is clear - you cant play Rooney and Wood together - they are too alike and they got in each others way last nite, at times they looked like a footballing version of Siamese twins. To be honest I dreamt of Graham Bayne last nite - that may just show what I think of the other three - but if we had kept him I reckon we would be heading for a semi.
  2. Sorry Steve - nowt personal - but the club perspective and how I see it is that Marius is to blame - the only way is fer this to be in open - I dont expect this to happen overnight - and I dont expect you to respond - BUT it does effect US in the here and now. I am shackled - you are shackled - BUT do the real fans of ICT deserve to know the truth ? WE are facing a relegation - Marius should have been here or the spondoolachs should have been exchanged. ICT and the future is all I care about - that is in danger and it should all be out in the open
  3. Chris - some clubs have eresholes who are given inside info to sir it up - if ya are going to Falkirk or to any of the forthcoming away games I will talk to you about it - not that I know anything of course.
  4. I am a clever man - and I am a careful man - and that is why I am so pissed off that the TRUTH is hidden and forbidden to be shared fer legal reasons - and I am shackled as well. You are the voice of the Mercenary - I KNOW his position - why are you sitting on the fence - tell this forum how you represent the lazy ******* - I goad to push you but you are evidently stuck up Orions erse. I like you - I respect the Judas Mercenary - although he has taken advantage of this club and this club are trying to **** him up in retaliation. Tell the truth to this forum - It will NOT come out in the end - It will come out in two feckin versions - as you know only too well - and as far as I am concerned - it will be who to believe in the end. Let Marius spill the beans asap - and risk the spondoolachs (know what I mean??) - and lets get this GREAT LITTLE CLUB living again.
  5. DU won today..............doesn't that mean you should be in bed now? (cannae be ersed finding the winky smiley) Gies a french kiss and fondle ma ICT tattoo and we can discuss this further - I know it is yer wont. That how you win over your clients Johndo? No - that is how I put it across to tawts taht they are talking a load of bollicks.
  6. That is not true, Brewster never lost the respect of Niculae and he played no part in him leaving I know that for a fact :018: ;) :015: :D :P :thumb04: That was the "word" before he left !!!!! Some of us know the truth - Niculae is partially the legal cause that debars the truth from being told - spill the beans or shut yer Eastern european erse lickin gob. Go on - why did the Mercenary go ?? Why when someone disagrees with what you say, or expose that you dont have all the inside info you claim to have ,you just resort to insulting people,, really it beats me why the mods let you continue on this site. The reason Marius left will be revealed very soon I cant say anything at the moment as the matter is currently with the legal people And I am barred from doing so as well - I resort to insulting tawts like you cos YOU are part of the system that keeps it all secret from the ordinary fan when it should be out in the open from the beginning - and the reason why the mercenary left will always have two sides - but the word mercenary says it all at the end - but he was well fecked before that as well before that - but - HEY - you lot keep it to yourselves and have a legal battle about what should be said and revealed - just leave the loyal fans in the dark as per feckin usual. I dont give a **** about the feckin lazy Eastern European anymore - he is feckin history. Not true..........why Parky left had nothing to do with Brew............more to do with a much higher regime. Oh Alex Brew was part of that regime !!!!!!!!!!!!
  7. PM me Simon
  8. That is not true, Brewster never lost the respect of Niculae and he played no part in him leaving I know that for a fact :018: ;) :015: :D :thumb04: That was the "word" before he left !!!!! Some of us know the truth - Niculae is partially the legal cause that debars the truth from being told - spill the beans or shut yer Eastern european erse lickin gob. Go on - why did the Mercenary go ??
  9. What Brew said was an indictment on himself - get real folks !!! Gies a french kiss and fondle ma ICT tattoo and we can discuss this further - I know it is yer wont.
  10. Stole my thunder or saved ma erse Brosnon: Yet another case of I told ya so - probably apprecaited by most apart from the YMCA chanting Ralf Milne. Brewster was a brilliant player and a great fitness coach - he left us in the mire to go to the Arabs - we gave him pelters fer that - he (and Savage and Niculae) fecked up CC and this club - that was a BIG mistake from day ! - which was PLANNED fer six months - "old feckin school" - the old background management buddies and the cheap feckin option - MISTAKE. Clearly he lost the dressing room last season and lost the respect of the senior players - especially NICULAE - Brew thought he was bigger - and then he flexed his muscles with dargo, Rankin ( extra muscle), wyness, bayne and even the mercenary - it was Brew who fecked him off in the end. His selections and tactics at the end of last season were deplorable - shocking. But I bit the bullet and tried to support him - this season he has been tactically INEPT again on sevral occasions - dont ask me to say where cos I have pointed them out game after game - and most actually agree with me. Get rid of the **** or we are going down - Do it on Monday before he fecks up another cup run possibility - or lets hope the players play fer the badge and the fans rather than their two faced bosses
  11. Well - most of the players and staff think he is arrogant.
  12. I have to stick with ICT Chris and davieb to an extent here - we really are a decent team, if we can survive we can only get better - and we could have won most of the games this season - IF we had a settled team, the right formation, the right tactics and the right selections - Brewster is too arogant and has too much favouritism to see that !!
  13. AAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH Stop blaming the players ya arrogant ****.
  14. NOT if we get rid of the top quickly and we hit a loan forward fer a few months - and splash the cash to survive. I am available to take on the mantle for the Bairns game - I couldnt do much feckin worse - drunk or feckin sober. DOH - playmaker injured - Royster ? - eh - swap Cowie - or Wilson ?? Well you usually make sense and try to remain positive - so why is Brew persevering with Wood ??? Why do we play deep - at home - when we have the momentum ? Yet another poster - like me - who thinks taht we are as good as ost of the rest - but thinks that we suffer from tactical and selection ineptness ?
  15. Ask Alan Savage, Orion and Marius Niculae - they duped our Board - we have **** all funds - but we have the players to survive if they are managed, led and played correctly. We need the "togetherness" - we can restore it but it needs a winter cull not a January spend.
  16. Saying that Hamilton and St Mirren think that they are better than that - and they have both beaten us at home.
  17. Crossed posts there - but Brew is clearly becoming MORE tactically inept and losing us games - we look like relegation fodder cos we are not beating teams that we should be - that is becos of the choice of players to start and where ya play them - you **** that up and ya lose the dressing room. Shure there are positives but what is the point when the negatives outweigh them and the average fan on the street can see what is going on but the manager cant ?
  18. Before I launch into a major offensive - where did Brew play Cowie and Imrie ? Where did Vigurs and Royster go into?Did he go 4-5-1 with the subs ? Did he push Cowie or Imrie forward ? How did Rosscoe and Hastings fare ? Please tell me that Barrowman had more than 2 minutes ? And as ICT Chris - a man who has a bit of feckin sense says - that is the third time we have thrown away a game this season. Will I be 50% tomorrow ?
  19. Well my boss has asked around and as far as Stoke are concerned - they have sold him but they have first option should he be up fer sale - no price has been stipulated - apparently that is up to our valuation - but Stoke have the bid and if they are the top bid they get him back - there is no percentage bid to Stoke - that is the bottom line.
  20. Lets use this thread to support tcj and c4l - as I see it they are two innocent naieve victims who were trying to bring an atmosphere and a wind-up to the proceedings but did not understand the underlying message and implications of their attempted irony. They should be supported fer being the loyal and dedicated fans tha they are and not condemned or ostracised fer a "mistake" due to a misunderstanding of history and the seriousness of secratarianism. I will be the first to stand beside them on the terraces and I will bequeath them the responsibility of carrying and displaying my flag from this day forwards. DONT LET THE BESTARDS DRAG YOUS DOWN.
  21. agree again, beginning to sound pathetic, i had a long chat with an annonomous friend today, blackie perhaps was having a brainstorming day, why was that, he hasnt had one for a long time, and only 2 yellow cards this season, well below others in the team, so the question is why, the answer i got i couldnt put in here, but what i can say is it seems perfectly feesable to me, but he needs to deal with it differently, my concern is he would be dropped to the reserves again. Could someone translate Gillians post for me please? Ever heard of full stops Gillian? Let me, if Blackie was to come out and say why he was having a bad day, or I put on here what is being said and he dealt with it by confronting the other parties, he would be playing for the reserves. At least that is my opinion, so he dealt with his frustrations in the wrong way, but at present it is (or the only way he feels he can) his way of dealing with it, i believe it to be the wrong way, but im not in his shoes, he was called a trouble maker the last time, disrespectful and all the rest. Still he needs to find another way of dealing with his feelings instead of wearing them on his sleeve for every one too see. And yes I can use full stops, but it takes longer. Oh - I can understand yer post and I can sense Ian's frustrations - yet another testament to Brews lack of man management skills and his inability or arrogance to play our potential match winner in a role that would bring the best out of him and benefit the team. He was played in a role to stifle Cellic which was negative and prevented him from playing football - again Brew got it all wrong OR was trying to prove a personal point again. Ian Black's talent is being stifled and that is a footballing sin. Comment Gillian ??
  22. Roy McBain is yet another testament to Brewsters tactical naievity. Royster must be one of the fittest players in the squad - he is reliable, he has a bit of pace and will always put in 100% and will work his socks of fer the cause - he is a better defender than anything else. He has all the components to be a legend but he is being used as a stopgap for too many positions in a similiarity to Cowie. Royster is the identikit of a left wing back - he showed that last season when he was yet another stopgap - he is superior to Hastings in many ways but again Brew has tunnel vision. GIVE Roy a run at left full back and reap the benefits - see ma other post/s - when Duncan is unavailable stick Roy into that slot. Those are the only roles that we can give him that will bring out the best in him, keep him in a regular spot which he will probably earn and prove yet again that Brew has ersed it up once again. I fear that we will lose a very valuable player otherwise who may do a real job elsewhere in the SPL.
  23. Well at least now Marius and I are now on each others Xmas card list and we have reached a mutual if not totally accordant agreement of what has happened - and as fer gillian - i concur almost every time with what she says every time - oh what happened to the independent site ?? So much knowledge and so much threat and censorship.
  24. Perhaps we should sign Goodwillie and McCracken.
  25. And what about Don "Kama Sutra" Cowie - are we not frustrating the poor beggar and should we not try and play him in the same role as Bazza - there are many similiarities.
