  1. Zander played on the wing but never once played down it. He kept on coming inside on his left foot and into a packed midfield. When he plays on the natural left he consistently hugs the touchline and tries to get as close to the bye line as possible before crossing with his well favoured and effective left foot. Hart, at times, can cross well with his right foot and can often try and hit the line. Again he found himself trying to manouevre on to his right foot and slowed the game up. Most of his "crosses" were limited to free kicks and corners. At half time it could have been 4 or 5 at I feared a trouncing. As I have already alluded to we made several changes in the formation at half time and gave it a go. As the Killie fan said taking off Black gave them confidence as he was clearly the one player who looked capable of playing a telling ball. We deserved a point at least in the end because of our dominance in the second half but we could have won it if we were sounder tactically. They always looked the liklier team to score and I felt that they took the foot off the pedal in the second half. Fer fecks sake - I am playing the devils advocate. :001: :001: Creates more posts as well. :015: :015: :015:
  2. It wouldnt have happened in Lancashire - He would have been treated immediately by the National Elf Service.
  3. Oldest Swinger In Town :015: :015: :015: :015: :015: :015: :015: :015: When you score with a chick in a disco bar Take her home in your hairy little car Then you find you went to school with her Ma and Pa You're the oldest swinger in town When you won't look in a mirror in the light of day Swear you dyed it when your hair turns grey When you zip up your Wranglers and your belly's in the way You're the oldest swinger in town Here you come and there you go Wire wheel-spokes and a stereo But the engine's clapped, and the driver also Is the oldest swinger in town When your barber takes a little less time each week The kids don't understand a word you speak When you walk into a disco and they offer you a seat You're the oldest swinger in town You prefer a pint of mild to Bacardi and coke The songs are too loud and there's too much smoke You'd like another dance but you're scared you'll have a stroke You're the oldest swinger in town Here you come with your chest all bare A little gold ingot and a lot of gold hair Like the disco king meets Yogi Bear You're the oldest swinger in town When you're feeling as stiff as a skinhead's boot Rub on Vick where you used to splash Brut And the latest punk fashion is your wedding suit You're the oldest swinger in town When you have to go shopping for your sex appeal Travolta shades and nine-inch heels You say a man is just as old as the woman he feels You're the oldest swinger in town Here you come with your lips closed tight You never smile, you know it wouldn't look right 'Cause your dentures glow in ultra-violet light You're the oldest swinger in town And you look so mean 'cause your pants are too tight You're the oldest swinger in town And it takes you all night to do what you used to do all night You're the oldest swinger in town (as sung by Fred Wedlock)
  4. Strayed off the point a bit about this one. Or was that meant?
  5. Oi - thats my feckin song. Like the Doodododo Pataleeinen :001:
  6. Scotty is a feckin homo. :015: :015: :015: :015: :015:
  7. If Caff is being earmarked as the replacement fer Dods ya just have to play him now to establish what kind of partnership he forms with Munro at an SPL level. Otherwise it would be guesswork fer next season. Dods is a professional - he should understand/accept such a rationale. We seem to be saying reward Dods fer his services to the club but what about Caff's loyalty?
  8. I have to admit that I avoid the use of the word "Homo" in front of my children and prefer to refer to "feckin coksucking pooftahs". I consulted with the lady in question who agreed with me and thanked me for my support and understanding.
  9. Cos he is completely left footed. At that stage of the game we needed width and playing down the wing - Killie had flooded the middle and were quite happy to allow Zander to come inside on his left foot. He did well but did ya notice that his final passes were mainly square balls or back to midfielders or defenders. Pat O'Linnen was doing that on the left to some success but Zander is a carbon copy. Playing Hart on the roght would have given us the width and penetration - perhaps!! :001:
  10. Suggest that you try the Nip Inn on Grant Street fer the karaoke.
  11. :015: :015: :015: :015: Nice one yngwie
  12. Lets have a wee "bet" on the game that takes them down or into the play offs. I might even go. :001: League Ross County v Hamilton Accies 13.03.07 League Ross County v Clyde 17.03.07 League Hamilton Accies v Ross County League Ross County v Partick Thistle 03.04.07 League Dundee v Ross County 07.04.07 League Ross County v Airdrie Utd 14.04.07 League Livingston v Ross County 21.04.07 League Ross County v Gretna 28.04.07 14.04.07 fer me. :015: :015: :015: :015: :015: :015: or Robbo the next week!!!!
  13. Absolutely correct - the feckin laff is that Blackie copped a booking that was Rosscoe's. Tokely would have walked - and then put in another cracker before Black was hooked. :017: :017: :017:
  14. :017: :017: Does anyone else agree about Hairy's comments on McSwegan? - a decent shift - feck me!! We "attacked" Killie in the first half? :017: :017: :017: Marcus didnt change his pattern? :017: :017: :017: 2 evenly matched teams? :017: :017: :017: Was there anybody there with any non tinted tactical nouse?
  15. Thank feck the chances of playing those peg selling, caravan dwelling, ***** tinks is getting unliklier and unliklier. :001:
  16. These are not critical but fer open discussion fer voyeurs of yesterdays game - remembering it was do or die!! First half: Dods marking Naismith - Caff on Nish - would it have been more effective the other way round? Were Wilson and Pat O'Linnen playing a tad too much forward and leaving Rosscoe and Fagan exposed.? Where were Duncan and Black playing - looked like me that Duncan was deep - Black in front - Duncan sweeping-Black central. Bayne and McSwegan were both up front - Both were target men. We lost Bayne's movement but did McSwegan actually move? SECOND HALF: Why wasnt McSwegan hooked? When Rory came on - Bayne became the target man and Rory the runner - did yas notice the difference? Pat O'Linnen played deeper and to more effect. Straight from the off Duncan and Black held the same line. Evidently discussed at half time. SUBSTITUTIONS: Shurely Rory fer McSwegan should have been the first: Wilson was fecked - the natural sub would have been Hart out on the right; If Black went should his replacement not have been Rankin - a playmaker. So ya bring on Hart and play him on the left and bring on Zander and play him on the right!! As I said - up fer open discussion - and I challenge anyone to give me a sensible, serious rationale to the contrary.
  17. Oh - and the same goes fer McSwegan - fer different reasons. :015: :015: :015: :015:
  18. Darren Dods was my player of the year last season and would always be one of the first players I would want in my starting X1. He has become a bit of an icon/legend in his time at ICT. But may I now suggest that we banish the revered Machine to the reserves fer the rest of the Season and out of the first team squad. WHY? He has pledged his future to the Arabs - ICT have to look ahead and have the opportunity of trying out other defenders and formations - in the SPL but not under pressure. Why should we keep him match fit and match sharp. He chose to go did he not. Will be another challenge to the constitution of CC. So who agrees with me: TOTAL RESPECT TO THE MACHINE :011: :011: - THANKS FOR THE MEMORIES BUT GOODBYE.
  19. CC clearly has a thing fer Black. In the Cellic game Bazza was clearly fecked and should have been hooked before Black. Even if Black walked Caff would have been the tactically sounder sub - not feckin McSwegan. We had to win yesterday - so that is not a time to mollycoddle yer best player.
  20. Absolutely spot feckin on Scotsman. Will sort out the tactics in another thread but to add to Hairys thread: Fraser :015: :015: Looked really nervous and unsure. Really does stick to his line and his six yard box and looks really suspect on crosses. Agree with the defence. Hastings was superb - Tokely was left exposed by an unfit Bazza. Dodsy had the worst game I have ever seen him play. Duncan was outstanding - MOM. Black was wrongly yellow carded and wrongly substituted. Marcus has potential but was a :015: :015: :015: - defensively he is lacking ++. Bazza wasnt fit. McSwegan was feckin gash. He is lazy and has no pace. He should have been hooked at half time. Zander was played on the right :017: :017: Rory came on as Killie were committed to all out defence.
