  1. More Charlie Christie Protection Society antics on here Richard. This game was non controlled by a pathetic Freeland. He let both sets of players off with a spate of late challenges. I will discuss the tactical mistakes later but will concentrate on young Mr Black first. He was persisitently being wound up with late challenges but did not retaliate. He was our ONLY player yesterday who looked like he could get us three points. Tokely should have been given a RED when the **** Freeland decided to book Black. In fact Tokely, Dods, Hastings, and especially Duncan, were dishing out the fouls and giving Freeland dogs abuse. So why werent they taken off? As fer the Killie fans winding Black up - it looked the opposite to me - he was cradling his hands swinging along to them - with a wide smirk - he was feckin loving it. Killie fans knew he was our best player fer fecks sake. And the "Only One Ian Black" response was the loudest of the day from our support who practically all stoood up to sing it. CC then goes on to defend Black in the press - so what does he do - takes off the one player who could have really turned the game. It was last gasp saloon fer us - we had to go fer a win - so take Black off in those circumstances - GIVE ME A FECKIN BREAK. It could have been the making of Black or yet another sore lesson. Do we just keep hooking him every time he gets feckin booked. And did he look pished off or what?
  2. Comfort eating and psychological coping mechanisms are major precipitators whilst research is suggesting that a lot of E-additives do have addictive properties. Read more about it in "Eating Problems" by Professor IHE and his lab assistant Maimie. :015: :015: :015: :015: :015:
  3. Maybe a loan spell in the 2nd Division next season would help - maybe Ross County. :001:
  4. It could revolve around whether you are treating a behavioural addiction or an underlying Eating Disorder. The former can only be "treated" by setting boundaries and is led by dietary constraints. You often find that it is the carers who need the most support and education. They have to be very strict in their care and are emotionally blackmailed by their loved one. It is often found that the carers are the needy ones and they actually revel in the role of caring as it gives them life satisfaction. They often project the blame onto anything but themselvesTo succeed both parties have to be either motivated and committed or set strict limits or committed. :001: Treating an underlying eating disorder is a totally different scenario and much more difficult to treat. Eating disorders are often related to psychological traumas in childhood and adolescence and are often a form of self punishment or a self inflicted form of abuse. This requires skilled psychological therapies comprising of exploratory psychotherapies and/or a cognitive approach. The aim is to mend the broken id/ego and increase the elements of self esteem. It is interesting that anorexics will draw themselves as being fat and bulimiacs will draw themselves as skinny. That is treated by correcting self perception and can take years. What really pisses me off that interventions have to wait until the "sufferers" are way out of control. GP's and authorities should do something at an earlier stage. There is actually a minimum BMI when the Mental Health Act can be initiated. Not always the best thing but can work. But there isnt a maximum BMI to act on - which seems crazy. Mind you I must be pretty feckin close. :015: :015:
  5. Love to see the Pars win - and I will straight back to the Pie and Bovril. :001:
  6. I am reliably informed that Barcelona are looking to Juanjo as a ready made replacement for Ronaldhino or Deco should they leave in the summer.
  7. I have to admit that I am really surprised that Caff has chosen to stay - again. When the "split" fate is decided I would play Caff in front of Dods in every game. He needs the match practice and he has to prove himself.
  8. Personally I see a lot of promise. As said he is only feckin 19 and is learning his trade in the SPL. :025: :025:
  9. Have you got a piccy of the Jeggie stand on fire - all I've got is ma memories.
  10. I went past Borough Briggs recently and it looks like a feckin Bomb Site.
  11. SO: 1. Should we get together and put forward a structured proposal? 2. Would people move from their current seats if they had to? 3. Sited in the Main or North Stand? 4. Designated seats or a "free" section"? 5. What is a "SINGING SECTION" - do other clubs have one - Midden appear to - as do Muvverwell.
  12. Its feckin sarcasm ya stoopid old ****. :001: WELCOME TO GRABE - just think he could have chosen a less emotive thread to introduce himself and in the middle of an internet handbag altercation. :015: :015: :015:
  13. I will be there - and I am heartened by clachers news - It should be relatively easy now fer me and Hairy to kick the shitt out of him. :015: :015: :015:
  14. Fan power and feedback appear to be exerting an influence fer once. Just read the text in CC's comments and feel the reflection of self - criticism seeping in. A fairly equal combination of taking a portion of the blame but also, quite rightly, giving a clear rationale fer his frustration with the fans and players - put in a far less evocative fashion and in a manner NONE of us could argue about. I could be available to help him take his communication skills to a higher level. - BUT WELL DONE CHARLIE CHRISTIE. :001: And WELL FECKIN DONE MAIMIE. It must have placed ya in a rather sensitive position to give such a strong quote to the press - and again the content was fairly divided between constructive criticism and support. :022: But being a born cynic - Please assure me that this was NOT a contrived combination of quotes from two "influential" individuals. As fer the "singing" section - has that ever been formally and "professionally" put forward as a structured proposal or has it always been a hot air / reactive type suggestion? I feel that we should get a SMALL cross-section forum of fans to put together a structured , thought out proposal to the Board. Although I am a distant "influence" my work ensures me that I am adept at writing up protocols, policies and proposals at a senior management level ( my other personna should I add :001:) and I would be happy to draft up a structured proposal - easy enuff in the days of e-mail and fax. But one more thing Maimie - If ya had said " And he fecked the Cellic game up totally" - it may have induced an equally rational response?
  15. I blame that **** Grabe fer all of this. It was feckin harmonious until he came along. :015: :015: :015: :015: :015: :015: Still - could be worse - we could be Ross County. :001:
  16. I still BELIEVE. I still BELIEVE that we can consolidate ourselves in the SPL, win a trophy and scrape into Europe - even if via the Intertoto. Thats what I want to see before I die. :001: It is CC's attitude in the main that I am criticising. He has made some poor tactical decisions this seasons, as many young managers do, But he blames everybody and everything else instead of shouldering some of the blame himself. That is my main beef.
