Get someone in who'll make a positive impact - Rioch is the man!
  2. Used to get four(two adults, two kids) - now get three (adult game about, two kids) Next season - ? think about it nearer the time. Maybe just two kids tickets!
  3. "....disquiet among supporters at our poor home record and league position... " Has to be the understatement of the year! Raging inferno on the point of major explosion has to be more appropriate than "disquiet"
  4. We require someone to come in who has a wide connection for possible transfer targets, has experience and who commands respect. At 61 years of age someone like Brue Rioch couldn't turn down a reasonable offer. Then again there are those who say-out of our league-why would he come to the highlands of Scotland?- too expensive. We have to ask first, before it's established whether anyone is a real contender or not. It's too easy to revert/hide within the village mentality. Going "Back to the Future" might work in the movies but in reality often ends in failure.
  5. John Barnes? 2-2-2-2-2 formation
  6. Kevin McDonald? Reserve team coach at Villa (born and brought up in Inverness)
  7. Butcher= good shout! Rioch? Jimmy Nicol? Billy Dodds? Ally McCoist? Robbo?
  8. Fan power CAN count. In my book we're not stuck with anyone. Yesterday we were possibly outnumbered by away fans. Crowds are dwindling. Action, if not taken by the board can be taken by fans. Do you really think the board have the stomach for a "battle" with fans? Remember, it's our club!
  9. Too numerous to mention but last one was Aalborg - was sacked though. Highest profile previous club being Arsenal!
  10. Although his record is mixed, at every club he has managed he has made an initial positive impact, he has knowledge of the game our current twosome DON'T have and he has the capacity to attract decent players in January. Worth a shout or is the concept too "out of the box" or just wrong?
  11. This time next month would have been more appropriate!
  12. Does that include the incompetent handling of the pair you've grown?
  13. If YOU were the the decision maker at I.C.T sum up your next steps in three sentences. Sack the current management team. Employ Billy Davies. Pray hard!
  14. EXCELLENT POST! Wyness is a classic "second striker" who was undervalued by Brew. A fit Denis playing regularly would not only create goals for others but weigh in with his own fair share of goals.
  15. Mike Fridge (currently managing in New Zealand) plus Charlie Christie.
  16. If observations are honest then I feel journalists are well within their rights and in my opinion this would be appreciated by most of the readership who are no fools. Any "blocking" of news from the I.C.T camp would be temporary as you've correctly pointed out I.C.T needs local coverage. Circulation figures wouldn't really be affected by a temporary block as football fans also buy The Courier/ Highland News for a number of reasons. My mum loves football but couldn't live without it as she's always keen to see the births, marriages and deaths!
  17. You're correct! Too many local "reporters" don't want to make waves and are happy to live in their comfort bubbles. By including posts from this website, they are, in effect, getting others to do/say what they haven't got the balls to. Any good journo requires to be objective.
  18. "I'm so hard, I can make you collapse just by looking in your direction."
  19. Check out www.theotherfootsoccerschool.com A coaching concept that I.C.T u-8's - u-12's are working with.
  20. Makes a lot of sense to put CC in temporary charge. If he enjoys it, handles the pressure and results are decent then it could become permanent. Well these are the three things that CC that he didnt have that made him want to leave months before he did, Only a lot of work by Grassa made him change his mind. Eh....I did say "If"

  22. Are they going through a hard time as well, what about Mo Johnson for ICT :018: Any chance of borrowing that banner? :thumb04:
  23. Agreed - Far too important! This situation won't improve and could develop into a Dundee Utd no win for ages sequence. Can't be allowed to happen and I'm sure the powers that be know it. Question is - Have they big enough cahunas to make a decisive change early doors?
  24. Definitely Aberdeen and it's not just when they are winning.
