  1. NOBODY is more fussy about grammar than I am, but I have to refer you to this ballad about the indecisive Battle of Sheriffmuir during the 1715 Jacobite Rebellion. There's some say that we wan and some say that they wan And some say that nane wan at a' man But one thing is sure that at Sheriff Muir A battle was fought on that day man And we ran and they ran and they ran and we ran And we ran and they ran awa' man However in the Ballad, "wan" is being used as a past tense whereas Caleyrule is using it as a past participle. On the other hand... let's just settle for "won"! :D You really should get out more Charles!
  2. Hazzard a guess at Dingwall Young Team....Highly original or what?
  3. :P Must fancy their chances against a couple of thousand folk! If this rumour gets out and about all the knuckle draggers in Inverness (whether they usually go to games or not ) will be through in Dingwall for that game.
  4. DYT?? Deaf Youth Theatre?? Dirty Young T*nks?
  5. Allegedly undersoil heating on for 2 days rather than the required 4 as a cost cutting measure. :(
  6. Inspection now 10.30 as ref is running late
  7. Bulvitus apparently speaking to team in Turkish league.
  8. who runs that german ict website in the twitter feed? is it just some random german?
  9. Mainly because we might be able to afford him! :P Budgets will be cut in future, determining that we have to go for a less expensive option as manager. Charlie fits the bill. He also has first hand knowledge of up and coming youth prospects and, with the current financial restrictions, wouldn't be discouraged from including home grown talent in the first team. Charlie's record stands up against others who have gone before and after. Remember the victorty at Iprix?
  10. It's not the real top, someone posted it on Pie and Bovril.
  11. Live updates on Dunfermline site :- http://www.dafc.premiumtv.co.uk/articles/d...2207955_1908772
  12. Great to see local soccer sevens/street league club Milton Athletic F.C running a bus down to the final- Well done!!
  13. Delighted for him that he's doing well in the S.P.L!
  14. What absolute and unadulterated shyte. Post split we had more points in seventh place than Hibs(?) above us. We played good entertaining football. In every interview I ever saw him give, he came across as one of the most intelligent of the SPL managers of the season. CC was fantastic and I was gutted when he left. Have to agree with you. Christie was an excellent manager and a born winner. Anyone remember winning 2-1 at Ibrox?
  15. Much, much less than the 3011 as reported at the game. First half we were okay, second half we were very, very, very poor!
  16. Can we really respect a manager who turns to the fans and shouts "fcuk off you cant". P.R own goal by Butcher and the beginning of the end. Family club? Remember kids in the stand. On another point do the players still hold hands in a circle in the changing room doing some kind of circle of trust bo***cks? Not really working is it! Maybe next time they should do "ring a ring a rosies" for all the good it does. The writing was on the wall when Vigurs was freed.
  17. Why don't you say what you really mean? Swearing at supporters could be a sackable offence.
  18. In the words of Edwynn Collins the club should "Rip it up and start again."
  19. Yes but that will not change, they all got away with the Brewster/relegation fiasco and they will sit and watch as we sink lower and lower. The will not give up their positions as who would stoke their over inflated egos in the Heathmount then. True the amount of sycophants in the Heathmount surrounding these muppets speaks volumes for the village mentality of Inverness. The board WILL come under increasing pressure when gates drop dramatically. Was it 3011 today? Don't think so - much less than 3000 in my opinion.
