  1. I have to agree with that - you just need to look at Hearts as one example. Yeh, Jack Walker really made an arse of things at Blackburn Rovers. Let's see who these mystery individuals are before shrouding the whole initiative in negativity.
  2. Fireworks are overrated-just ask my dog. She absolutely HATES fireworks! Burning down Victoria Park would give the punters of Inverness more pleasure than any fireworks display. :021:
  3. Barrowman looked quality. How old is he?
  4. Less and less funny each year. Poorest yet! :020:
  5. Definitely Warnock for me. He'd add a different dimension to the club. The publicity surrounding the appointment and the continuing media traffic surrounding him would send the profile of the club sky high. The contacts he's built up over the years could also mean he'd recruit a good standard of player from south of the border.Plus, he's a character.
  6. One way to retain Donald would be to go for Robbo. Stating the obvious I know. I'll get my coat.
  7. Possibles- Darren Ferguson, Terry Butcher,Tommy McLean with a younger assistant. Owen Coyle.
  8. Class! :clapping03:

Can't think of another song but a Romanian flag wouldn't go a miss. :021:

To the tune of -You're not singin' any more Thanks for building our new home!
  11. Have to agree with you Flower- absolutely shocking stewarding! As for Hitler Youth there's no way these stewards would be considered unless being a fat wee, humourless wifie was a prerequisite for joining. The atmosphere was definitely enhanced by the singing/bouncy section and removing home fans for standing was an own goal on behalf of the club. Football's too P.C now and I along with many others yearn for a terracing section. How about our club showing how progressive it can be by initiating moves to have a terracing on a trial basis next season opposite the main stand? On a positive front there looks to be a genuine effort from fans to create an atmosphere befitting a football ground and if this early wrinkle can be smoothed smoothed out there's hope for a more atmospheric future!
  12. Agree about Martin Johnstone. He holds the ball up well, is good at linking and knows where the net is. He'll definitely be playing in Div1 or Premier next season as 20 odd goals for a cack team like Elgin is no mean feat.
  13. Morgan could be a candidate for being farmed out to Peterhead.
  14. Some really good ideas there Dmacca! Some form of half time entertainment is a must for starters.
  15. Let's see how many ideas we can come up with to get more bums on seats on a Saturday and eh....Sunday.....Monday etc. Here's two to kick-off- Invite non "locals" i.e Poles, Lithuanians etc to a specially arranged open day at the club. Free snacks, promo giveaways( scarves etc), fun coaching sessions etc used to make them feel welcomed and wanted by the club. Representatives of the club(including players) visit the 5 secondary schools in the area to initiate the setting up of supporters clubs within each school. Discounts on entry to games for all members plus organisation of competitions, challenges between the supporters clubs once set up. Come on -YOU can come up with more than these!
  16. It can be a knee-jerk reaction from a support to blame the ref when their team doesn't win but you're correct this guy was a MUPPET who hadn't been sewn together properly. Did he spoil the game? Impossible to say. Maybe his puzzling decisions made certain players more determined.
