I think it's a confidence thing with Andy. I think he'll do much better next season in Div.1 and perhaps come out of it as a much better striker.

Good opportunity to get on with the garden, catch up with some reading and listen to a lot of CDs. It's actually quite good to get a break from football for a couple of months.

Isn't the standard of refereeing throughout Scottish football utterly atrocious though ? We are just one of many victims of really shockingly bad match officials. What is being done to improve standards ? Precisely nothing.

After watching Rangers in action this afternoon at Tannadice I wouldn't say the Bairns have a hope. Nice to think that they might and a wee team wins the Scottish Cup but it's pretty doubtful.

We can't be calling for a change of manager even though it's quite understandable after the terrible disappointment of yesterday. We must keep the faith with TB - Division 1 will be a challenge for him and Maurice too. No, no changes please and let's see what they're made of.
