  1. Aye, Rooney on for Barrowman would be a good idea. However, substitutions are undoubtedly Brew's weakest point as a tactician.
  2. Agree with most of the posts here. A tired clapped out format badly in need of a revamp - a bit like Top Gear.
  3. Happy Christmas to all on the forum and at ICT. :018: :thumb04:
  4. Bruce Rioch for Caley Thistle ? I'll believe that when I see it. Interesting possibility though.
  5. Utterly shocking display by ICT. Things are at a very low ebb at The Dump. Major changes are required - NOW !
  6. My dad knew him well when he worked at the Tomatin Distillery. One thing for sure, they don't make them like Jock any more. Sad news.

Aye, I've tried to give Brew the benefit of the doubt but I'm beginning to question my judgement here.
  8. Aye, he'll have a point to prove next week - and why not ? Good for him yesterday though.
  9. Mystifying decision - like so many others at The Dump.
  10. Surely things are going to look up for us soon. This dreadful run of results can't go on. Or can it ?

Robbo as manager; Pele as assistant/scout.
  12. Can't argue with that after seeing the Rankin goal.
  13. Not the kind of thing a manager should be saying about the fans. This is supposed to be a team of professional footballers who should play to their very best with single-mindedness and think about nothing but winning.
  14. Quite a goal and it didn't half make Boruc look stupid. Selling Rankin to the Hibees - Brew's worst decision ? Oh, apart from buying Barrowman that is.
  15. Surely we can do a lot better than this. Listening on the radio it sounded a pretty dire performance. Why wasn't Rooney on from the start ? As for Barrowman - waste of space (and money).
  16. No, we'd better not laugh at Livvy because if we did we could be laughing on the other side of faces before too long IMO.
  17. Leeds United were undoubetdly one of the major English sides of the 1970s but their current status is indeed a sad one. I am sure they will come back into the Premiership in the next few years just as the English side I follow - Burnely - just might under Owen Coyle.

Very pleased indeed for Jamie. Well done and hopefully the first of many caps. :thumb04: :015: :018: ;)
  19. Yet again Caley Thistle players overlooked by Burley. When will one of our boys pull on a Scotland shirt ?
  20. I don't see Mark staying on at Parkheed long term. A move to England a possibility ?
  21. I've said it before and I'll say it again - Pele for scout. Whatever his failings he could spot a promising player.
  22. Aye, you're right there. Another weekend of dire Scottish refereeing. Something must be done.
  23. All being well I hope to go.
  24. This is hypothetical as ICT will never fold. I like hypothetical questions though and I would follow Clach in Sneck and Gala Fairydean in Gala.
  25. I'd ask him why Pele isn't employed as the Caley Thistle scout.
