  1. Did I hear right on BBC Radio Scotland this afternoon that we're in line for a ?250,000 parachute payment after being relegated ? If we are I hope it won't be eaten up settling the Marius case.
  2. I agree with you there. It's a tough division to get out of and I think we'll be there for a while. I hope I'm wrong.
  3. Aye, I think a season back in the 1st Division could well be the making of Barrowman. Hope so.
  4. There's little doubt that failure to hold on to the 2-1 lead in the Motherwell game cost us dearly, as did the result last week at Rugby Park.
  5. We'll be back but it's not going to be easy. We're bound to lose a good number of players this summer. However, it could be a chance for some youngsters to come through. :(
  6. COME ON THE BUTCHER BOYS ! YOU CAN DO IT ! :(
  7. Dunno why, But I've got a weird feeling Barrowman's gonna score the goal that keeps us up. I suppose he has to do something good at least once a season..... Well, that would be quite a story if he did. I am anticipating a tense but very exciting game. Wouldn't be surprised if Lionel has a major role in the drama that will unfold from 12:30 pm tomorrow. A repeat of last week's performance at Rugby Park would be very welcome.
  8. Just home after the Braw Lads' rideout this evening to Threepwood. After taking in plenty fresh air in the hills around Galashiels and Lauder I'll have no problems sleeping. Big day ahead for us and our team. Good luck to the boys. WE ARE STAYING UP, SAY WE ARE STAYING UP !
  9. I hope we'll all be sleeping well tomorrow night..........
  10. Aye, and good luck and all the best to the boys from the Borders too !
  11. Shakhtar Donetsk beat Werder Bremen 2-1 after extra time.
  12. Definitely tempting fate to sing songs like we are staying up. What on earth has happened to the good old "Give me a Ceeee; give me an Aaaaa, give me an Lllll," etc, etc ? Never hear that at all at games these days. Get behind the boys 100% on Saturday by chanting and singing as much as possible.
  13. Steppin' Out - Joe Bonamassa version preferably.
  14. God forbid that we go down but IF we do (and it's a very big if) there will most certainly be a major clear out at TCS, nothing surer.
  15. There's a lot worse roads than the A9 and the scenery is stunning from Perth to Sneck. Apart from a game at The Dump highlight of any trip is a fantastic fish supper from The Plaice To Be chip shop in Pitlochry !
  16. After the fighting display our boys put on at Rugby Park yesterday afternoon I have the greatest confidence in them. WE ARE STAYING UP.
  17. Relegation would be a very bitter pill to swallow after all our team has done in the SPL. It's just not going to happen of course. BELIEVE IN TERRY AND JUNE AND THE BOYS !
  18. Yesterday's Killie programme was an object lesson in how to put a decent programme together - interesting articles, old photos, good run-down of ICT players and the right size too. This is the type of programme content that we should be aiming for.
  19. Worst case scenario against the Bairns - an own goal by some poor unfortunate. Now, that would be a real sickener.
  20. What a fantastic record Sir Alex Ferguson has at Man Utd. An object lesson to all clubs to stay loyal to your manager and not sack him after a few duff results. He had a pretty sticky start which is all too often forgotten but the board got behind him and the rest is history. Nothing would please me more than to see Newcastle Utd being relegated. Other than ICT staying in the SPL of course.
  21. Nobody could criticise any of our boys for the shift they put in yesterday. Mikey was our only weak link - the same old problems were clear to see. TB needs to bury the hatchet with Esson - NOW !
  22. I think David Sutherland is on a monster ego trip and ICT is just one of his oulets for him to spout forth.
  23. David Bentley (Arsenal v Middlesbrough, FA Cup 4th round, 24 January 2004) .
  24. I hate that black strip. There's just something about it that doesn't look right and as others have said it's a bit of a jinx strip for us. There should be some black in our strip anyway but that's not a debate at this crucial time for our team.
  25. Aye, the board have a lot to answer for. They are the real architects of the current situation and if right was right they'd be called to account. They won't be and even if we go down (WE WON'T !) they'll still be stuffing themselves with half-time buffets with their freeloading chums in the director's box at our expense.
