  1. Motherwell, Killie and Falkirk games for me. WE ARE STAYING UP; WE ARE STAYING UP
  2. Certainly the most uncomfortable 90 minutes of online listening I've had for a very long time indeed. We got out of jail today and no mistake - Kerr's goal could turn out to be an absolute life saver for us as an SPL side. Sounded as if we really missed Pavels, but what was Morais thinking of to give away the free kick that led to their goal ? I'm sure glad I didn't put in the 394 miles from here and back to see that performance.
  3. I echo everyone's good wishes Bob. Keep up the posting. Men have this stupidly macho idea that it's a sissy thing to go to the doctor, especially about things like prostate and bowel problems. It's nothing whatsover to be embarassed about. If in doubt check it out !
  4. It's going to be extremely tight but I'll go for:- Killie Hamilton St Mirren ICT Falkirk I just hope that I'm right.
  5. The Hamilton game is a vital one for us right enuff but it'll probably not be very pretty to watch.
  6. If we get out of this one with a point we'll be very lucky. Second half sounds a nightmare.
  7. Andy did the biz for us last time we played the Dons at Pittodrie. Let's hope he can do the same today. Come on, give him a break - I'm sure he'll deliver for us.
  8. One aspect of this tragic event which has really surprised me is just how difficult it appears to be able to identify the officers involved. There appears to be no requirement for the riot police to have identifying numbers on their helmets, jackets or shields. This type of sloppiness and laxity would only encourage aggressive and violent officers to attack demonstrators with little chance of identification. It would also appear from the footage shown on Channel 4 News tonight that the officer who struck Mr Tomlinson was wearing a balaclava under his helmet. More like what one would expect in Pinochet's Chile than Brown's London.
  9. Aye, far too early to look at new signings for next season. Our No.1 priority is the campaign to stay up and we just mustn't for a second lose sight of that goal. We're not out of danger by any means. Yes, we had a good weekend and the other results couldn't have gone better but a couple of bad results and we could be back among the strugglers. When the season is over and we are safe then that's the time to look to changes in the squad.
  10. Aye, we should hang on to Filipe. Whenever I've seen him play for Caley Thistle there's a buzz about our attack and he seems to be able to unsettle defenders.
  11. Ferguson has been pants this season for the Huns and MacGregor is vastly overrated as a keeper. Both of them need to take a good look at themselves but they won't because they're arrogant and stupid. One thing this sorry tale highlights yet again is the drinking culture which permeates football in general and Scottish football in particular. I suppose it's just a reflection of Scottish society as a whole but a very sad one.
  12. Fantastic fans at Newcastle Utd and a tremendous club set-up. I have to say that this appointment looks like yet another false dawn and although I hope it won't, it will end in tears (and relegation).
  13. Cumnock must be the worst place I've visited with Airdrie a runner-up.
  14. Craig Brewster is the past as far as ICT is concerned. Let him get on with the rest of his life and let's move forward ourselves. Terry and June are the future.
  15. Class goalkeeping ! :P :021: :D :thumb04: :018: ;) :015:
  16. Today's revelations about Jacqui Smith's husband's porn film bill being claimed on paliamentary expenses is just another example of the utter contempt the "political class" hold us all in. Until there is root and branch reform of the parliamenty expenses gravy train there will be yet more examples of the snout in the trough mentality which permeates Westmister. Is it any wonder that the voters/taxpayers are completely alienated from the whole politcal process ?
  17. You're thinking the way I'm thinking about our next three games.
  18. We don't have the greatest squad in the SPL but I think we've the bottle OK. When push comes to shove I'd back the ICT boys 100% compared to the likes of Killie. I feel it's going to be between us and them at the end of the season. There again I could be totally wrong and hope I am. We could have three straight victories in the next three games. Couldn't we ? :015: :thumb04: :018: ;) :D
  19. Aye, we've got to keep believing in Terry and June and the boys. Saturday was indeed a truly massive disappointment but let's put that behind us and look forward to our next three games and then the split and whatever that may hold. One thing for certain - we are staying up, we are staying up.
  20. The Captain and Me by The Doobie Brothers.

    Djebi-zadi

Poor Lionel. He's being lined up as the whipping boy after yesterday's debacle but there were others on the park who played worse than he did.
  22. You'll have a job calling Norris McWhirter - he died in 2004.
