Oh dear - we don't need any handbags out at this vital point in our season.
  2. Fantastic result for the Caley Boys. Well done boys - you've done us proud this afternoon.
  3. Totally unacceptable behaviour by anybody. He should be thoroughly ashamed of himself, but shame is something in very short supply in Britain today.
  4. One of the many players ICT let slip through their fingers. Better not started on that old chestnut though.
  5. It's not rocket science to make a decent programme surely. All it needs is a bit of imagination. I'd agree with the previous suggestions put forward, in particular it needs to go back to the old size. The current size makes the programme look as if it's been the victim of a cost-cutting exercise (which it probably is). How about a 10, 25 and 50 year ago feature on what was happening in north football back then, much like the weekly From Our Files feature in The Courier. We've plenty in the Caley and Thistle history to look back at but there must be plenty of other material in the Courier, Highland News, Football Times, Northern Chronicle and Highland Herald to dig out.

Without doubt the best pies in the SPL are at Rugby Park.
  7. If the terrible twins took off to the Premiership could anyone really see a city the size of Glasgow without an SPL team. Wouldn't it be quite something for Scottish football if Glasgow could produce a brand new team without any of the dreadful baggage that Celtic and Rangers bring to the table. Just a thought.

I go to more away than home games these days and have to say the singing/chanting/shouting among the Caley Thistle fans at the away games is streets better than at The Dump. I've never really understood why this should be the case. :thumb04: :018: ;)
  9. Aye, an amazing game right enuff. Didn't think there would be another 4-4 draw involving Liverpool this season. Just goes to show how wrong you can be.
  10. I have to say that I am a bit nervous about our SPL future but on the other hand I am sure that the Butcher Boys have it in them to fight their way out of this somewhat precarious position we (and indeed they) find our team in.
  11. Motherwell, Killie and Falkirk games for me. WE ARE STAYING UP; WE ARE STAYING UP
  12. Certainly the most uncomfortable 90 minutes of online listening I've had for a very long time indeed. We got out of jail today and no mistake - Kerr's goal could turn out to be an absolute life saver for us as an SPL side. Sounded as if we really missed Pavels, but what was Morais thinking of to give away the free kick that led to their goal ? I'm sure glad I didn't put in the 394 miles from here and back to see that performance.
  13. Amazing game - football at its finest.
  14. It's going to be extremely tight but I'll go for:- Killie Hamilton St Mirren ICT Falkirk I just hope that I'm right.
  15. The Hamilton game is a vital one for us right enuff but it'll probably not be very pretty to watch.
  16. If we get out of this one with a point we'll be very lucky. Second half sounds a nightmare.
  17. Andy did the biz for us last time we played the Dons at Pittodrie. Let's hope he can do the same today. Come on, give him a break - I'm sure he'll deliver for us.
  18. Aye, far too early to look at new signings for next season. Our No.1 priority is the campaign to stay up and we just mustn't for a second lose sight of that goal. We're not out of danger by any means. Yes, we had a good weekend and the other results couldn't have gone better but a couple of bad results and we could be back among the strugglers. When the season is over and we are safe then that's the time to look to changes in the squad.
  19. Aye, we should hang on to Filipe. Whenever I've seen him play for Caley Thistle there's a buzz about our attack and he seems to be able to unsettle defenders.
  20. Ferguson has been pants this season for the Huns and MacGregor is vastly overrated as a keeper. Both of them need to take a good look at themselves but they won't because they're arrogant and stupid. One thing this sorry tale highlights yet again is the drinking culture which permeates football in general and Scottish football in particular. I suppose it's just a reflection of Scottish society as a whole but a very sad one.
  21. Fantastic fans at Newcastle Utd and a tremendous club set-up. I have to say that this appointment looks like yet another false dawn and although I hope it won't, it will end in tears (and relegation).
  22. Craig Brewster is the past as far as ICT is concerned. Let him get on with the rest of his life and let's move forward ourselves. Terry and June are the future.
  23. Class goalkeeping ! :P :021: :D :thumb04: :018: ;) :015:
  24. You're thinking the way I'm thinking about our next three games.
  25. We don't have the greatest squad in the SPL but I think we've the bottle OK. When push comes to shove I'd back the ICT boys 100% compared to the likes of Killie. I feel it's going to be between us and them at the end of the season. There again I could be totally wrong and hope I am. We could have three straight victories in the next three games. Couldn't we ? :015: :thumb04: :018: ;) :D
