  1. Not too bad for us going in at half-time only 1-0 down.
  2. If the C*unty come in for Barrowman in the next transfer window how much will he go for ? Certainly not what we paid for him.
  3. When A Guitar Plays The Blues by Roy Lee Johnson. Class.
  4. Barrowman finding his scoring touch - we're still living in hope on that one !
  5. It's these kind of games we should be winning if we're going to have any hope of going back up into the SPL. There's little doubt the First Division is a tough league and there are no easy matches.
  6. Rory Bremner, Jack McConnell, Charile Christie, Sir Tom Farmer, Rory Gallagher.
  7. Deepest and sincere sympathy to all the family at this very sad time. Very much in my thoughts.
  8. Come on Caley ! I'm sure they can do it. Barrowman to score the winner ?
  9. Which is the best electric guitar ? Everybody has their favourite - is it the Gibson Les Paul as used by Jimmy Page, Slash, Gary Moore, Peter Frampton, Joe Bonamassa or the Fender Stratocaster as favoured by Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Robert Cray, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Dave Gilmour ? :025:
  10. Shocking news indeed. Thoughts and prayers with the whole family at this time.
  11. Really disappointing news but it might be the best thing for Noel. Hope he goes on to form another band and returns to his song writing best. Liam is an idiot.
  12. Very disappointing to put it mildly and to be beaten by them into the bargain.
  13. Sign on Sign on With hope in your heart But you'll never get a job (to the tune of You'll Never Walk Alone)
  14. Athletics hasn't been clean for years - drugs, blood doping, hormones. You name it they'll try it. Winning is everything in athletics and these days where big prize money is available even more so. Tennis is another sport where there are suspicions of performance enhancing drug use. Cycling hasn't been clean for decades but I think this is one sport which is beginning to effectively combat drug use.
  15. Aye, the Australian collapse today has been spectacular. Game most definitely on.
  16. I have always been pretty dubious of al-Megrahi's guilt given the events of earlier in 1988 when the USS Vincennes shot down an Iran Air Airbus over the Straits of Hormuz in error. 290 people were killed in that incident but we heard precious little about that in the intervening years and after the Pan Am 747 was blown up over Lockerbie. The Iranians had a greater motiviation at the time to be involved in any revenge attack on US interests. There is so much on Lockerbie which will probably now never see the light of day that it could be 50 or 100 years before the truth will be revealed - if ever.
  17. When you watch these European games you see the huge gulf in technique and skill between Scottish and European football. We don't seem to have moved forward at all in the last 10 years; we've gone back if anything. :016:
  18. Just watched the game on MOTD - fantastic strike by Blake. Great result for my favourite English team and for Owen Coyle too. :025:
  19. No thanks - waste of money. There again, we'll probably sign him.
  20. I can clearly remember seeing the Farmers Dairy horse-drawn milk cart in Chapel Street in the late 1950s/early 1960s.
  21. Definitely a confidence issue with Andy. Having seen him playing a few times last season he looked as if he had no confidence at all. It's a pity his goal against the Dons didn't have a more positive effect on him. I am sure he will come good for us and with a good run in the team and a few goals he'll do fine for ICT.
