  1. Isn't the club chaplain the Rev Hugh Watt from Dumnadrochit ? :024:
  2. This is just a total shambles. :009:
  3. Burnley. A sleeping giant. Very successful in the 1950s and early 1960s but currently mid-table in the Championship. They'll be in the Premier League one day I'm sure of that. They've a very good manager in Owen Coyle. Beat Southampton 1-0 yesterday.
  4. Aye, you're dead right there. All Old Firm players are overrated and overhyped too by their journalistic groupies. :016:
  5. No game is meaningless as far as ICT is concerned, particularly next Saturday against the Jambos. This could be quite a quite a test of the team's return to winning form of late. Sounds like a good game they had against St Mirren yesterday so we'll need to be on our toes for this one.
  6. Very well done the Caley Thistle boys. Wish I'd been there. The Rugby Park match game (4-1 to Killie, 22 March) avenged. :021: :021: :021:

Why do we constantly let good players go - Rankin, Dods, Dargo, Robson to name but four. :024:
  8. Getting back to the football, are there any players just released by the Dons who might be of interest to us or is Caldo a shrewd operator who gives no hopers the boot ? I describe Caldo as shrewd with some reservations as I'm sure Aberdeen fans have plenty of other adjectives for him ! :tic01:
  9. Having spoken to fans of other teams we've played in the SPL the majority rate Marius very highly and think we are lucky to have him in our squad. Hope he makes the Euros with Rumania this summer and all the best to him if he does. :021:
  10. Same here. Definitely hoping to go to these two games. :clapping03:
  11. I'm a fan of Blackie too - there's a buzz about the team when he's on the field. Must agree though, ICT gave a very good account of themselves on Saturday, minus Blackie.
  12. The SPL - what an utter shambles the whole outfit is. What an advert for Scottish football. Root and branch reform long overdue here. :33: :33: :33: :33: :33: :33: :33:
  13. Juanjo and Marius up front for ICT. Mmmm.........I wonder :024:
  14. Attendance not bad at all I thought. Killie v ICT - 5,100 ICT v Dons - 5,655 :022:

Definitely agree with you there. Give Malkowski a run out on Saturday. Mikey looks like he's lackng a good deal of confidence in recent matches.
  16. Very much here, here to that ! Is it me, or why is it every time I go to the Dump there seem to more advertising boards plastered around the place ? It's beginning to look a bit tacky. :symbol_question:
  17. That's a definite Brewster blind spot - he can't see past no-hopers. Much better to have Pele Paterson on the scouting side of things. :sherlock:
  18. Aye, you're right there. Just where did those 4 minutes of added time come from ? Was it the substitutions ? Both we and The Dons put on four subsitutes in the second half. :024:

I hope that you're wrong about Ian Black. :024:

Marius as captain next Saturday ? Interesting idea that one. :024:
  21. Robbo ? Hope feckin' not ! :33: :33: :33: :33: :33: :33: :33:
  22. Dons fans have a notable track record with throwing things onto the pitch, e.g. at CIS Cup semi-final against Dundee United at Tynecastle last month. :018:

What a difference yesterday from the abject performance against Killie. Actually quite encouraging but there's an awful lot of work still needing to be done.
  24. What a game that was - it was a local derby, relegation decider and a cup tie rolled into one. :010: Dougie MacDonald is a shockigly poor ref but how many times have decisions gone against us when we are playing so-called "big" teams but I don't really consider Aberdeen to be a big team any more. :020: Russell Duncan ? Words fail me. How different might the result have turned out if he'd played the whole of the game ? :008: Support - pretty brilliant. :021: Roll on next Saturday at Almondvale - surely we'll win that one. Won't we ? :024:
  25. It's a vital game because we might just win it and give us fans something to cheer about. :003:
