Also heard a chuckler today.. Ryanair pilot Paddy is flying into Manchester. The plane is in trouble, so he calls the tower and says ''HELP, HELP! Easter, Pancake Tuesday, New Years Eve, Bank Holiday Monday, Halloween, Bonfire Night''! Voice comes back and says, 'For f**** sake Paddy, it's Mayday!'' Totally off the subject folks, I apologise!

Mcmanus hasn't really cut it since leaving Hibernian. He exploded onto the scene when he was young, a bit lyk Burchill, but may be worth a gamble! Also think Kerr is a terrific player. Really impressed by the level of signings being made. We CAN stay up.

Indeed he has just signed on loan till the end of the season. I also believe that Foran has only signed till the end of the season, I suppose he'll consier his opyions after that. Very good signing if you ask me.

I thought the same having seen the interview. My opinion is that the appointment can go either way. I think Butcher will be a real asset for us or he will be be terribly bad. A great motivator though, hopefully he can attract some higher callibre of names as we've never had a big(well known) manager that can do that.

Totally agree. There are more pluses than minuses for ICT in Butcher's Scotland connection. Also agreed.. as long as the Scotland job doesn't distract him from what needs done here.

Only 1 vote for no! wasn't me by the way. Apart from Robbo, Butcher probably was the best man for the job. As said on another tread the players will look up to him.. And he can surely help out our leaky defence.
