  1. This has the potential to be a great appointment, Kenny is a good guy that cares greatly for the club. Good luck in your new role Kenny.
  2. I just spoke with Robbo and he thought it was live commentary of Rangers game with updates from other grounds
  3. Ya Beauty great 2nd half so far
  4. Personally I don't like booing of my own team but I don't think there is a club in the country that don't have a small element that will boo the team when they have gone 2 down at home...it doesn't make it right but its a fact.
  5. Dundee game is a crucial one..win it and they could crack, lose it and I think its over for us and I agree with Joe I don't think a draw will be enough.
  6. Big question is will Tokely be here at all next season? Going back to the stay or go question I think you have to trust the management with this, it will then be his team and by signing a new contract Butcher must feel he is confident he has the resource's to be successful.
  7. No Yngwie an out of court settlement is not more likely in fact I am sure it will not happen. Yes Marius is sick of it, I would imagine the only ones that aren't sick of it are the lawyers.
  8. Marius hasn't heard the date of the clubs appeal yet. For the other part of the saga, Marius was meant to be across in Inverness Court next Monday the 8th of March but it has now been delayed.
  9. Birddog as I said on a previous post not going through the in's and out's of it once again its been done to death. Its up to courts to decide now in both cases
  10. I find it astonishing that people think that a panel of experts from FIFA have no idea about employment law.
  11. Yes fair play to him...a young striker that is learning his trade and has come on leaps and bounds this year, well done Adam!!!
  12. I am fully aware that Sutherland is from Inverness, I am also aware that he has ploughed cash into the club, the only thing I was questioning is whether his approach might alienate some other businesses being involved in the club. While yes he is the best known businessman in the town the second best known is Alan Savage, I reckon that since his difference of opinions with Sutherland the club will have lost at least 100k a season from sponsorship etc. Wonder if thats what Alan Savage now pay's Aberdeen for the big Orion banner above the tunnel at Pitoddrie. Not sure if that banner is new or not Alex but I know he has always put a fair bit of cash into Aberdeen as one of Orion's busiest offices is the Aberdeen one.
  13. Might be an idea to get Robbo in to work with our strikers after all he does it with Dundee U
  14. Sound like we were unlucky today but that doesn't alter the fact that was a terrible 2 points to drop at home.
  15. Nice one...another one and the 3 points will do the trick
  16. Cheers for that Scotty
  17. Anyone hear how we lost our goals, was it bad defending ?
  18. Foran pulls one back
  19. I am with Scotty still think we can come back in this one.

Sounds like a shirt sponsorship deal to me, is that the case? Is Mr Savage going to put his constellation on ICT's shirts? I didn't mean my post to imply that I meant that he might alienate other Inverness business people. I said that they lost at least 100k a season, that Savage spent when he was there on advertising boards, hospitality, company vehicles etc...does he intend to do anything again such as shirt sponsorship, I have no idea but I would be very surprised the way he was treated,

I can honestly say that I have never heard any 'gloating' about '67. Maybe reminiscing, but no gloating. And taking your point, Celtic should then harp on about '67 before every champions league game, which simply doesn't happen. Maybe if you frequent the Celtic forums. I know England games are less regular than the CL, and that comparing Celtic in the CL and England in the WC is impossible, but I just don't hear a peep about '67 before any CL games. Maybe I switch off from it. For me, and you can take this as racist or a tad prejudiced, the English media/fans are a more arrogant breed than the Scotland fans. The fans should probably expect more, they do have a decent team, but the Scotland fans believe more in the occasion rather than the end result. There were Open bus tours and nearly a National holiday when they won the Ashes...and they only beat one country to do that, if by some miracle they do win the World Cup best not turn on our TVs for at least 5 years

Bit of fun...yes I will be supporting any team that plays England but not because I don't like English people, I do,its a bit of banter and really anyone thats offended by it needs to find a sense of humour.
  24. Happy Birthday LG :026:
  25. The situation I am referring to is where a new party, from those who are, allegedly, being excluded at present, secure a significant enough shareholding to assume control of the club thus becoming the party in control of negotiations with the property owner. No conflict there as I see. At no point have I sought to establish whether there are parties willing to invest i.e. purchase shares as a minority holder, but am keen to establish what obstacles there may/may stopping our plethora of benefactors that are so keen to oust the present regime coming forward. As far as I see it, there are none other than a recognition that our present majority shareholder is not sitting on a pot of gold and a further recognition that all any future purchaser would be acquiring is grief and liability. The pot of gold could well be the stadium and land...without that yes there is probably only grief and liability why would anyone invest in a club that effectively has no assets. The biggest mystery to me is if there is nothing sinister regarding the stadium ownership why doesn't DFS come out clarify it, or if not him one of his many PR people.
