  1. Whatever the board decide I just hope they get the finger out....our players are showing a bit of form and with only 3 of them in contract at the end of the season they could well be picked up by other clubs and whoever is manager next season could be the least of our problems.
  2. This team really starts to be gelling....will Butcher be offered a new contract now to secure the players
  3. Very bold team selection from Mr Butcher away from home.
  4. I doubt it but they might feel they should show their gratitude to our major shareholder for keeping Asda out
  5. Perhaps if you were up in court been accused of something you didn't do and facing the prospect of that on your record you might burst into tears as well.

    Wyness

Good luck to him...hopefully he will bang in a few goals
  7. Sounds like the young office in question has a lot to learn...shocking that it got that far.
  8. Edited to make sense
  9. Got to bottom of it.....there will not be a decision today just a case of lawyers having bit of to and fro before the court case, Marius will attend the court case in Inverness on the 8th and 9th of March.
  10. Where did you get that from Maimie as Marius doesn't know anything about it, its the beginning of March pm sent stevie... Thanks Maimie..

  12. I am sure things will be fine, after all the club must have known this was coming and Mr Sutherland said in his recent interview that we are fine on the financial side. Perhaps our now very wealthy board will all chip in and sponsor the shirts.
  13. I was unable to go back the following year but apparently the Romanian side Universiatea Craivoa were the biggest bunch of divers, cheats and chancers you ever saw. (Sorry Stevico!) Charlie Christie actually told me they weren't that bad but think he was just trying not to hurt my feelings as everybody else told me same as you Charles
  14. I heard that Pavels has signed for United on loan until the end of the season, think this will be a good move for both parties.
  15. Alex, you obviously have more faith than me that we will still have the majority of this years squad with us next season.
  16. That's not a strike rate. Strike rate is number of goals scored from shots taken. I'd put money on Rooney having one of the worst goals from shots ratio in the country, never mind the league. While I think Rooney sis a decent player I am curious as to how many of his 12 this season were from penalties
  17. Make no mistake about this. County were absolutely devastating here against a Stirling team that weren't actually all that bad. County were a good deal more than competent and the Stirling keeper had a few good saves, including one early in the 2nd half which denied Gardyne his hat trick before Wood, deprived of the opportunity to take the penalty by Brittain, eventually got his. During the last 20 minutes I thought County looked especially strong which I think may well be down to the Brewster influence in what seems to be a very effective partnership in Dingwall. What I have just said might not go down very well here, but that's how it was. I think Brewster may well have found the role that suits him, I don't think anyone ever doubted his fitness coaching and with Adams doing the tactics it does seem to be a good combination
  18. The only way I can see that happening is if the Supporters Trust was able to to substantially increase the number of shares it controls. Why? One of our previous chairmen has (or had) a personal holding of only 250 shares (the minimum). I a sure - especially in these times of stony silence - that there would be significant support from a lot of small shareholders for a fan representative. What I was meaning here is that I just don't see the board voluntarily inviting a fans rep to the table. It is common business practice though that a significant shareholder (and I'm probably talking about a 20%+ stake) is granted a place on the board. There's no actual requirement for that to happen, but in any normal company its accepted that the largest shareholders need to be involved rather than excluded from operational decision making, otherwise they can become uncooperative and make life difficult for the board. I wonder why Alan Savage who is second largest shareholder was never invited onto the board when he left as Chairman? As far as I am aware David Sutherland /Tullochs have the right to appoint a number of Directors onto the board (3 I think ) Back to the original theme of the post, well done to the Trust, a great gesture.
  19. What kind of occupation do you have? Would your boss let you keep working there if you had been as vocal and as prominent to the upper management as Don against the business dealings of the companies major shareholder? I severely doubt it. Whilst I admire Don for his stance and his bringing this to our attention I do suspect that Don knew exactly what he was doing, Don is known to push back harder when threatened and a warning to cease and desist would be seen as a challenge by him, rightly so, but look at the sh!tstorm he has managed to create, look at the publicity he has managed to bring to his cause. I do admire his actions, now, but please try to stop seeing him as the victim. Birdog do you not think Don even deserved a meeting with those to discuss with them what they were so annoyed about as opposed to the spineless way they did it. At the end of the day do you think he would have been dismissed if his posts had been about Alan Savage who is the second largest shareholder , I doubt it very much. The club is controlled by one man and one man only and if you dare to cross him you are out as has been proved many times over.
  20. On the playing side a bad thing, quality player. On the financial side, probably a necessity.
  21. Come off it mate, I don't care how busy Fiona was that is a p!ss poor attempt of a report, which was also 12 hours behind what everyone else knew. "The club have confirmed the transfer of Dougie Imrie to Hamilton FC and the release of Andrew Barrowman from his contract. We would like to thank both players for their service and wish them all the best in their furture careers." It looks more like a statement of disinterest than an update Maybe she is disinterested, which is understandable in the circumstances. New responsibilities, heavier workload for little reward. Would you have her leave her home late at night just to update a website for you? This is her job, she was likely given a snippet to cut and paste into the website by a faceless director. We're a' Jock Tamsons bairns, Harry. That may well be the case but those that run the club have ultimate responsibilty for the website not Fiona and its them that should be addressing it.
  22. The people I figured would know most of the answers would be Caley D, Stevico, Charles Bannerman, and maybe alex Macleod. Just because this four seem to have the most knowledgeable answers when it comes to ICT internal dealings. Oh, reliably informed as well. Sorry Knowledge its not a subject I know a lot about, that just leaves Alex and Mr Bannerman
  23. Once again the club have let things turn into a PR disaster. A faceless spokesman, neither the man that made the decision or his puppets have the courage to put their name to it, but quite happy to name Darren again. "He would rather his free speech than the stadium announcers job" what planet are these guys on. Shameless, Arrogant and so wrapped up in their own self preservation they care for nothing else.
