Local press
While I do think the press should be a bit more free in printing what is happening I do understand why they are reluctant do so, if they lose their stories they get from ICT there is not much else for them to report on In that case the press should grow a pair, they have the ability to influence public oppinion and that makes them more powerful than the ICT board. Yes I agree with that and I wasnt saying they were right just that I could understand why they might be wary to do it, perhaps the most powerful of the lot the BBC might come out and report on the displeasure of the fans Too far North for the BBC to care mate, sorry. I thought it was a BBC interview that reported that contary to public belief Black had been offered a contract at the start of the season

Sorry I just dont buy that, he is paid a healthy salary to manage the players and if he is not capable of doing that he should not be there.

The Brewster YES OR NO thread!
Exactly All this has been required since the last few games of last season. Do you not think enough time has past that the chances of kicks up the erse are gone and there has been no improvement. I will admit that I am of the anti-Brewster camp and would never give him a chance. I believe if he succeeded he would leave us at the first opportunity and we'd be back at square one. That was one option when he was appointed the more likely was that he would fail and be sacked, I was not ready to give him a chance others were, admirably after his actions when he left and was at DUFC, and those others now see how bad a manager he really is. Birddog I dont think there is a manager in the business that if he is a success would not leave to go onto bigger things, it happens all the time in football, there is hardly a manager in the game that hasnt moved onto better things if he has been a success

As I've already said, the arguments have been posted on other threads. At least 90% of the insults on this site are directed at Brewster. I've not seen any balance from the anti-Brewster crew: "never concede that there may be some good in your enemy; never leave room for alternatives; concentrate on one enemy at a time and blame him for everything that goes wrong" Come on spectre I doubt there are many on this site that didnt want Brewster to do well, regardless as to whether they had reservations at the time of his appointment or not. After all although we may all have different opinions we do all have one thing in common our wish to see ICT perform to the best of their abilities. What balance are you looking for so far he has been a spectacular failure as a manager, same as he was a Dundee United. I would not direct any insults at him although I do think he should not go about blaming everyone else for the current failures apart from himself. And I do think he should do the right thing and resign.

The sad thing is you really think it would be a result if you had received a email from the club while those that dared to critisise did not, so the club in your eyes should only respond to emails praising them and ignore those with any form of critisism

New January signings
Oh well if that was the case you cant blame Brew for making such an astute move :thumb04: :018:

New January signings
When it comes to Brewster - what is the difference ? Bayne went cos he was told he wasnt wanted - FACT. Thank you for clearing that up for me IHE. I'd, wrongly, been under the impression that Bayne wanted to return to the central belt for family reasons. And that s why Brew went to Tannadice - and Rankin - and Dargo - and Wyness - and Dods you forgot about Donald Park :thumb04:

A Little Christmas Game for you
It might also be said that they have one collective view of someone not even on the board
-
A Little Christmas Game for you
Kingsmills perhaps I worded that incorrectly, what I was getting at was it would be nice in one of the board came out and said what the thoughts are on the current position the silence from the boardroom has been deafening

A man finished
Yup - was given a similar piece of advice .... always thought the first step to recovering or learning from your mistakes is to acknowledge you made one in the first place ! If you cant admit to mistakes, then there is no way you can learn from them. Exactly, and maybe just maybe if he came out and said I screwed up there but I know that and will do everything in my power to make sure the same mistakes dont happen again people might just have a bit more of patience with him. The worrying thing is he seems to think he is doing a decent job but everyone about him is screwing it up

Brewster to blame?
Alex I think if people are going to realise that there are things wrong they dont need to look much further than your history of posts over the last couple of months, you were very supportive of Brewster, took some stick for it but stuck to your guns and thought he deserved time. As you said above you have realised that the time has ran out. All those that think this is all an anti brew or lynch mob mentality should realise that even some of those who gave Brew their full support are realising that enough is enough

A Little Christmas Game for you
It would be nice to hear something from one of those six what their thoughts on our current situation are.
-
A man finished
I think that about sums it up, who is surprised by his after match comments anymore, not once has he taken a bit of blame for anything that has gone wrong this season.

Very civil That quote is going to be sung from the crowd and not sent to the BoD in an email :thumb04: Just got to love how misquoting makes things look so different. Ok you got me :018:
