  1. Just wait people! Assuming a Rangers Newco start in the 3rd Division! Lets see how many of their "supporters" stay with them as the move up the leagues. Some may even try and support their local teams for once!
  2. not seen the game at Tannadice since the night it was shown! Awesome! Almost had a tear in my eye seeing Gascoigne in an CT jersey! lol
  3. "Braveheart attitude "? Sorry SMEE i have to disagree with you on this. I dont think many footballers these days know what this means! Does anyone? on a side note I wish Mel Gibson would p*ss off and stop meddling with a nations history! Lol The media love to latch this buzzword onto players; Colin Hendry being one that i remember! But i think its limited to the International game All we need is players that play for the Jersey! Simple
  4. like all the replies Proctor! County never came into it as a rival for me also! I dont even remember seeing Caledonian FC play County to be honest! lol. County only came into play as a rival with the introduction to the SFL in 1994 as im sure your aware off! Thistle & Elgin were the rivals hands down.
  5. methinks the 6,000+ of us who didnt show up (me included) should be the ones to have a go at!
  6. As long as they score goals, win games and keep us in the SPL; i care not a jot about their nationality!
  7. Primal Scream announce warm up gigs before heading out to support the Roses! http://louderthanwar.com/primal-scream-play-3-scottish-warm-up-shows-before-roses-support/
  8. You have to be congratulated Dougal! In a post relating to Ross County, you managed to last 47 words before using the phrase " Merger" in it Your getting better dude!
  9. Well done to County for ensuring all the moaning central belt teams, refs & pundits have more travelling to do next season! Cant wait for our Derbies!
  10. im with Caley D on this one!
  11. I started watching Clach when i was about 10 or 11 as my Aunts house overlooked the centre circle at Clach Park, so i would watch the games from her bedroom. When i started at the High School aged 12; i fell for this girl called Angela who was in my class! She invited me to a Caley match with her and some other class mates (she lived on Kenneth Street), so i went. I left Telford Street that day with a love for Caledonian FC! The girl sadly was forgotten about after that! It was only natural that i follow ICT post Merger!
  12. I remember this game well! A bloody cold night and Caley were played off the park. But an English team playing in Inverness was unheard off in those days. Im sure i have the programme somewhere and great memories of Kevin Mac!
  13. Rather brave of you to start a Butcher out thread after 40 posts or rather stoopid! I'll go with the latter!
  14. LIke it Johndo! * Dedicating my 1000th post to Mortaled Howden Ender!!
  15. He should go back to his Painting job!
  16. the U19s would be the first to go! Ness looks like a capture!
  17. I cant see County losing it now. Their momentum is similar to our last 1st Division season when we were unstoppable!
  18. its all looking good for ICT season 12/13 in the spl!
  19. 25 years has a better ring to it DD
  20. Oh wait! im not saying that we can forget the 2 histories! Of course its going to be a part of it, I just dont like people highjacking posts with merger BS! And for the record Dougal wasnt giving his thoughts just his anti-merger bile! Lets move on!
  21. FFS! Wait a minute people! My post was NOT intended to celebrate the Merger in any form, but to mark the 20th anniversary of ICT as a club (1994 - 2014) and nothing else. Please take your Merger chat elsewhere. Dougal! Please for the love of Jesus! Stop highjacking my thread with your " delicate and tender a subject" BS. I bloody well got over it years ago and so should the rest of you! MODS! If this continues with Merger posts, please delete and i will keep my ideas to myself!
