Never doubted our position so i am glad ICT have said no! However lets not forget we will have County fans to fill the away end this season! Who needs Rangers!

Someone mentioned to me today that ICT went through a similar situation as Rangers at Hampden in season 03/04 when the SPL clubs voted for or against our entry. Can anyone advise on what teams stood where on the 2 votes. I do know that we required 8 yes there were initially 7 votes for yes, 3 for no & 2 abstentions. Hearts & Hibs then asked for a 2nd vote with Dundee Utd revering their decision. any help appreciated

wait a minute! they are not being "given the right" to compete in the SPL! The 11 clubs will more than likely vote against them by all accounts. Sorry but the SFA/SPL have continually ignored fans over the years so i dont see the point in this type of action

100% with the OP The SFA/SPL are desperate to keep the Ugly Sisters together, but the integrity of this game in our country is in tatters with all the allegations of criminal activities aimed a R*angers FC. Mr Dougal!! I wished county all the best when they were in the cup final last year! I was glad that they won the 1st Division with ease this year But now we are in the same league again they are our nearest rivals and yes i want them to lose games and get relegated back to the 1st division. Thats what a football rivalry is all about. I dont hate them or wish their fans ill; Lets leave that to the Ugly sisters, but i want the other 11 SPL teams to crush them every weekend!!!!

sure! as long as the kids are alright! What about us older chaps who have supported the club forever and ploughed thousands of their own money into the club over the years!! Im all for attracting kids to the club when their young just dont forget your older fans!

Just wait people! Assuming a Rangers Newco start in the 3rd Division! Lets see how many of their "supporters" stay with them as the move up the leagues. Some may even try and support their local teams for once!

County only came into play as a rival with the introduction to the SFL in 1994 as im sure your aware off! Thistle & Elgin were the rivals hands down.

I started watching Clach when i was about 10 or 11 as my Aunts house overlooked the centre circle at Clach Park, so i would watch the games from her bedroom. When i started at the High School aged 12; i fell for this girl called Angela who was in my class! She invited me to a Caley match with her and some other class mates (she lived on Kenneth Street), so i went. I left Telford Street that day with a love for Caledonian FC! The girl sadly was forgotten about after that! It was only natural that i follow ICT post Merger!

I remember this game well! A bloody cold night and Caley were played off the park. But an English team playing in Inverness was unheard off in those days. Im sure i have the programme somewhere and great memories of Kevin Mac!
