  1. just read this, this morning very sad http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/scotland/glasgo...est/8089017.stm

if Foran leaves it up to his agent like he said in the P&J Article, the agent will want him to stay in the SPL. After all the agents motive is money all the way. I just hope Foran makes up his own mind
  3. Er no Levien to Celtic Mcgee to Aberdeen Strachan to Reading
  4. i did find it odd that Pavels was benched for a few games. but if TB didnt rate/like him then now i know Very dissapointed that he has gone. He was a legend in his short time with us
  5. news item from todays Metro ' Inveness winger Filipe Morais last night conceded that he has played his last game for the relegated club. Caley Boss Terry Butcher wants to retain the 23 year old Portuguese but Moraios said "Terry wants to keep me and has offered me a deal, there are lots of talks ongoing with my agent but Terry knows i have other clubs interested and am probably not going to stay at Inverness" ' I think Morais could be crucial in up going back up so this is a real shame
  6. im dissapointed with this announcement. Especiall when you read the other announcement on the Fly-Be sponsorshp when Fraser mentions that 'TB & MO will be given the opportunity to re-sign the players they want to keep and to strengthen the squad for a promotion challenge' it doesnt make sense let players go just to strengthen the team again
  7. this thread is stupid!, stupid!, stupid!
  8. Jimmy Tango is gone a little bit of good news http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/t...een/8066189.stm
  9. Now that we are slowly coming to terms with life in Division 1 next season; Do any if our forum Stattos have any stats on how ICT have faired against the current crop (or crap) of Div 1 teams? It might ease our worries
  10. When i first moved to Edinburgh Yogi used to come into the place i worked ( he was with Hibs at the time). He took quite an interest when he found out i was an ICT supporter and would always ask about us. I think we were in the 2nd Div at the time. As much as i wanted Falkirk to go down, his post match interview was well recieved by me, so i hope he stuffs R**gers in the cup final
  11. Interesting idea from P&B http://www.pieandbovril.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=107688

there was something that happened at our first post-Brewster game at Tynecastle with Ian Black being blatantly fouled. even the Jambo fans thought it was a fouled. I cant remember the exact details
  13. with the exception of St Midden & Falkirk fans obviously, lol, i think most fans would want us to stay up
  14. Great Post Chibber, made the hair stand up on my arms... maybe someone can sneak you into the dressing room on Sat to deliver that speech to the players, although knowing Terry & Mo they will be saying something with equal passion
  15. I work with a lot of Jambos in Edinburgh and they are all behind ICT as they all enjoy their trips up to Inveness thanks for the comments Young_guy & Partner
  16. FFS give the guy a break! He conned no one. Made a judgement call that playing and managing in the SPL was too much. Probably the wrong call in my mind but a call not a con! Totally do not understand the sad mentality of some of the Brewsters haters on this site. The same guys who fawn over others who left us in a much worse state!!!!! well i cant understand the sad mentality of Brewster lovers either touche!
  17. I agree with the view that we look forward and im glad he's gone, but your missing the point guys...this guy conned us into believing he had retired and yet he's scoring for fun with C**nty. We very might have avoided a relagation battle, exciting as it is; if he had pulled on his ICT jersey
  18. Would we be in a different position this season if Brewster had pulled on his ICT jersey and scored the 4 goals for us rather than Gross C**nty who knows?
  19. Hamilton beat Killie beat us beating St Mirren Falkirk unlikely to beat R*ngers good day all round for us up to 9th
  20. Good answer !! Thanks John.... I hope TB is reading this!! Just quick one for you all out there here a said earlier is my thoughts on changing Scottish footbal all crticism is welcome but i reckon it would provide much needed stimulus scottish premier league 14 teams scottish premier league championship 10 teams scottish regional league 1 2 and 3 promotion relegation champions from championship up bottom premier down as usual then our own play offs 4th in championship play 3rd one off game at 3rds ground as 3rd finished higher the winner would travel to play 2nd and the winner of that would travel to second bottom of the premier league in a one off game with the winner taking its place in the spl think about it as the leagues are right now st johnstone up falkirk down 4th dunfermline travel to3rd dundee sell out crowd say dundee win travel to partick crowd 5k plus winners travel to caley crowd 5k plus excitement would be brilliant and would give real sense of a chance to the ist div teams as even if you finish 4th you still have a slim 3 away wins required chance to get to the spl and gives all teams in the division something to play for at this moment 6 teams could make the play offs just say premier was celtic, rangers, hearts, dundee utd, aberdeen, hibs ,well, hamilton,st mirren, killi, caley, falkirk,st john and partick championship dunde, livi, pars, queens, county, clyde, airdrie, morton, ayr and raith premier teams play each other twice(26games) then split 7+7 and play home and away again (38) games same as moment and takes away the stupid thing of 20 home/away games or 18 home/away games you are guaranteed 19 home and 19 away games simple championship would continue to play home and away twice (36 games) as would the 3 regional leagues regional leagues would be north montrose, forfar, brechin, arbroath, cove, inverurie, elgin peterhead, fraserburgh and huntly central east, east fife, cowdenbeath, berwick, gala, stenny, spartans, lochee, tayport, linli thgow preston thletic central west stirling, queens park, albion, dumbarton, annan, stranraer, pollock, killwinning, alloa, auchinlek most have tried to apply in past but atleast we would have pyramid system all 3 league winners plus challenge cup winners would play off home and away to meet in final winners playing bottom of championship in one of game at championship teams ground and if they met championship mcriteria so many seats etc this wouls assure that only teams with a wish to improve their stadium etc could come up if a team won the challenge cup and the regional division they would proceed to play off final direct only regional teams compete for challenge cup advantages 2 extra teams in spl more safety allowing use of more home grown talent plus more excitement to the 1st division plus we retain more full time teams and we retain the new look 3 divisions in the regional leagues allowing young managers/coaches and players opportunity to play in the senior game what you reckon have thought about writing to spl and sfa have it all typed out John- some great ideas and even some Jambos i work with liked it, however someone asked about the regional leagues. If a team who was promoted from one of the regional leagues, was relegated...would they simply fall back into the league they came from. If so would this not cause a number problems thoughts?
  21. wait a minute IHE...5th stand is making an opinion...why do you feel the need to be-little poeple with your bile perhaps you dont have enough salt on those chips of yours
  22. sounds like we are in agreemeent. regarding the cost of a camera, easy!...all you need is a digital camera and an editing suite. and as Sotty says, just make the footage available on here or the official site.. I think the Boardroom Banter thing is locked so may the Mods can include this in their next meeting

seems the SFA do use video evidence after the fact, when it suits. Im for it in prinicple as long as it doesnt delay the game. Maybe they could set up a system where clubs get say 10 occasions during a season to refer to video evidence which relates to sending offs, yelow cards etc. Its a hard one to introduce, but im for it
  24. Im sure there are many of us out there who follow the fortunes of the reserve team as well as our youth teams. I for one would like to see footage of our reserve team games. I think both of the OF show reserve games on their respective TV channels, but we probably dont have enough of a fan base for a subscription based TV channel. However i do know some team websites in France/Spain show reserve games on their site Im going to ask this as part of the Boardroom Banter to get an official response. thoughts?
  25. great news for Pavels, I made a post on the rumour thread about other clubs looking at him and my initial thoughts were that we could lose him. But why should we lose him. If we are to be taken seriously as a top level club then there is no reason why the board cant keep him. I like all other ICT supporters want the club to succeed sooner than later, but im beginning to realise that its baby steps. I think we all forget at times that we are only 15 years old as a club and success at International football takes a lot longer for most clubs, however we have had Richard winning the Gold Cup with Canada, Marius represented Romania at the Euro's last year and some of our youth players represent the Scotland youth/futures squad..so baby steps we are making. So Pavels in the WC qualifiers is another step towards that goal.
