  1. Golabek is alot more reliable than Lionel. He hasn't played for a wee while so he mayb'e needs time to build up fitness. He was a bit off yesterday but i would still rather have him at LB.
  2. Just noticed there was a thread for it. It was so blatant, Morrison leaned in with intent and then had the nerve to moan at Hayes for going down. How did the ref or the Linesman or even the 4th official not see it??? Absolute disgrace.
  3. Good game, pleased we got out with the win. All players played well, including Bulvitis, his distribution was a bit clumsy but some of his tackles were ace and he was solid against attackers. Foran worked his socks off and Sanchez did ok as well. Eagle's goal was a bit flukey but a goals a goal. Johnny Hayes was well up for the game as well and looked dangerous and how an earth did Scott Morrison not see red or at least a yellow for bowling Hayes over? Roll on 22nd November.
  4. His book signing next month has been cancelled due to his ill health.
  5. Bring it on.

    ICT Players

Scouts of Stoke City were apparently watching Don Cowie last season. I don't know how many teams showed an intrest in him. Leeds tryed to sign him on deadline day as well before he joined Watford.

Coventry were also intrested in Dargo, as was every team at the time. I seem to recall Norwich looking at Mark Brown as well when they lost Robert Green to West Ham.

Allan Smart went on to play for Watford. Les Fridge was goalkeeper for Chelsea, before failing and returning North. Arsenal i believe were very close to signing Niculae a few years ago as well.
  9. After his return flight from his TV gig was cancelled, Terry Butcher finds an alternative method to make a quick return to the Highlands.
  10. Liking your team ictchris.

    ICT's future

4 goals in 50 appearences over 4 years. Yeah he was an absolute goal machine
  12. Esson Proctor, Munro, Bulvitis, Golabek Ross, Duncan, Cox, Hayes Sanchez, Foran subs: Allison, Shinnie, Stratford, Rooney, Barrowman
  13. I know what you are saying Jim but at present there are very few players in our squad that are SPL quality unlike the team that won promotion the last time we were in 1st division when a good number of them could easily have made the step up After todays showings Stevie there are very few that are of SFL quality.
  14. Just back and ragin. The 1st half was not spectacular but all changed when Buchanan backheeled his 1st and after that it was 5 minutes of madness leading up to half time. The 2nd came from a long ball with our entire back four pushing up and Russell Duncan screwing up a backpass header for the 2nd and the 3rd a counter from a terrible Proctor pass. The worst ending to a half i will ever see. Barrowman was hoiched off at half time for Sanchez who made a big difference, more energy and was far more creative. Then Rooney also contributed by slamming home the penalty, Hayes was brought down after beating his man so no complaints. Foran got the 2nd without about 15 minutes left, Hayes made a great run, cut it back to Munro and it was an excellent cross, Richie quite literally threw himself at it with a header We were unlucky not to get a 2nd pen. Rooney got hauled to the ground. We came close for a 3rd when Proctor had a slide that got deflected at the keeper and Foran won a flick on and if Zadi had stayed at the back post he would have had a tap in. In terms of the performance it disturbs me that we need to concede 3 goals to up our game. The two performances either half were chalk and cheese, we probably should have been in front but as usual our finishing at 0-0 was 3rd rate. Too many changes were made as well. Dropping Sanchez was a mistake as per usual Barrowman never looked like scoring. The only marginally pleasing factor was the performance of Nick Ross. The few times he got on the ball Partick had alot of trouble dealing with him, he should retain his place for next week imo.
  15. Courier said last week that Sutherland probably won't be going out on loan.
  16. Good. No club should have him darken their defence in Scotland.
  17. A right winger. A good passer for the middle. Someone to replace Duff. A sub keeper. We may have to let go before we can bring in January though.
  18. Sol Campbell will be available come January.
  19. Fifa.
  20. Can only hope that after giving Well such a ruff time tonight that they will get confidence from it. Especially new boys like Hayes and Stratford. Good for Barrowman getting a goal given that his last one was a year ago. Good that changes were made and they seem to make a little difference.
  21. So the highland league has a reserve league and the first division doesnt :) Good luck to him highlnd league doesnt have a reserve league, must have been under 21,s or under 19,s Might have been an arranged friendly. Clach got one last week because they had 3 or 4 trialists in.
  22. PS3 end off. But the true classic is Nintendo 64, GoldenEye was the best.
  23. Only reason i went with it was because when Partick were playing us last season Roy started on that side and had a really good game, he even managed to get inside and have a couple of decent shots but either would suit me fine, as long as they both start.
  24. HT: 1-0 FT: 3-1 1st Scorer ICT: Sanchez 1st Scorer Opp: Forbes Crowd: 2368
  25. Esson Tokely, Bulvitis, Munro, Golabek McBain, Cox, Duncan, Hayes Foran, Sanchez subs. Allison, Proctor, Stratford, Eagle, Rooney. Time to use all the experience we have at our disposal, keep Eagle on the bench as he does have capability but he may be a player that makes more of an impact coming of the bench.
