  1. When the club decided to stop pursuing new managers and chose the cheap option of bringing back Brewster. Who then got rid of capable players such as Bayne, Wyness, Rankin, Wilson and brought in dead beat like Zadi, Barrowman and McGuire. Then our board failed to see where the club was going and left it too little, too late to save us from the pitfall of relegation which has resulted in us losing our most influential players and being forced to replace them with misfits, nomads and lightweights who have no idea how to play Scottish football.
  2. Would take Odhiambo before Barrowman any day. Fact is he just isn't going to get us goals. Odi may not get many either but he is faster and has more of an effort in him.
  3. Esson Cox, Tokely, Munro, Golabek Hayes, Duncan, Imrie Sanchez, Foran Rooney subs: Allison, Bulvitis, Ross, Odhiambo, Barrowman
  4. Deeply dissapointing at the lack of hunger shown by the team compared to County, you could see how much it meant to them. Not going to slag of any individuals as everyone was terrible, apart from Hayes when he came on and Esson who had no chance with either goal. We lack character, experience and at times just basic talent. This was a big game for us today and we have failed drastically. Is this an indication of what every big game we have is going to be like? I sincerely hope not.
  5. Yes. We will go above County, we will start to close the gap at the top, it will give us a boost mentally, and it will continue a great run we are on.

That was why i wanted to get this seasons one as last seasons is a tad redundant now. I asked in the shop just over a month ago and they said there should be one but i'am yet to see one in either of the papers or in the matchday programmes.

Pritty much every team has one at the start of the season but i'am yet to see one for us. Is there a reason behind this? Is it a cost cutting thing?
  8. Me+4.
  9. Did he not leave because he didn't get the manager or assistant managers job? I think Hughes recommended him and elvis as his replacement. McCann and Jack McNamara went for the job of joint manager i think but were overlooked in favour of Eddie May. McCann started critcising May's methods and promptly left.
  10. Don't see Eagle or Stratford getting back in the team but i doubt we could or would flog them. We our stuck with Barrowman due to him being an overpayed underperformer, so all we can do is hope he starts scoring his open goals.
  11. He comes across as being a right character. Good interview.
  12. I miss Hastings. He should have gone back into the team after Lionel was sent off against F**kirk in the cup. The one game he played in the summer , against Montrose, he did well. I'm dissapointed that we let him go, especially for nowt. Golly isn't bad but he will never sustain the pace as well as he did.
  13. Just keep it the same. Bring on Hayes, Cox and Odhiambo on throughout the 2nd half though.
  14. Yet another top class performance, 9 goals in 2 games, 2 hat tricks in 2 games and 4 games unbeaten, it all makes good reading. Every player did there undoubted best and it was pleasing to see how little the Morton goal affected them. Came right out of the traps in the 2nd half and Rooney took every goal well, though i didn't see the 1st(due to a bathroom break.) Hayes and Cox came on and made their own good contributions to the game, while Barrowman missed a sitter. Bring on County.
  15. Right Midfield i think Ross is our best player to use. Centre mifield? No idea I would agree about Ross but somone more experienced i think would improve the width in midfield especially on the right. We need someone who can pick a pass in the middle. Proctor aint a centre mid and Duncan can't pick a pass to save his life, although his breaking up of opposition attacks is appreciated. Could mayb'e look at some loans from SPL clubs.
  16. Can't say i'm dissapointed. In fact kinda pleased.
  17. Buchanan and Lovell up top. I see a menace in the reckoning for our backline.
  18. His pace is much needed and his touch i don't think is that bad at all. Provided he stays fit i think he will be a key player.

    Adam Rooney

If i recall he scored a hat-trick for Stoke in his first start for them. He was our top scorer last season, despite barely starting and despite struggling in the one on ones he has had this season he is the only player who has found himself in those areas. His severe lack of pace is a cause for concern imo but if he is given a run of games and some good service from the likes of Sanchez, Imrie, Foran and wee Odi he will get us goals.
  20. Peter Reid has just become assistant at Stoke so i really don't see him dropping down a division to help out Keane. Burley and Butcher is a very possible duo to take over if Keane gets the boot and given the expectations Ipswich had this season that may not be far away.
  21. Been on the cards for a fair while now but it is dissapointing.
  22. Wouldn't object to it but he certainly would be my ideal soloution to getting the ICT job. If Butcher goes.
  23. Sanchez is an attacking midfielder, not a striker. And it benefited yesterday as he set 3 goals and was unlucky not to get one himself. Rooney is a poacher and good finisher but is too slow to chase the ball when it gets punted up to him, however he is better than Barrowman so i would play him. Foran plays well on the wing as he isn't afraid to take his man on but when he is in position he is our best finisher imo but for the benefit of his work on the wing i would stick him there.
  24. I meant to do a diamond formation with Sanchez just behind Foran and Rooney up front but couldn't be bothered.
