  1. It was inevitable. Early favourite is Roberto Mancini
  2. So glad we got the won last night. Was much needed for everyone associated with ICT. Was at a party last night with a load of old firm fans telling me how garbage we were and how we would get smashed by Raith...wrong. I think Tel got the team right and it would was good to see Imrie play and also good to hear about Sanchez making such a positive impact from the bench and at least Tel was man enough to drop the under-par Eagle. I now look forward to Saturday a little more than originally so lets see if we can string 2 wins together.
  3. Would love to have him. We don't even have a right winger atm.

    Eagle

He reminds me alot of Paatelainen. Just slows attack down, Saturday he did absolutely nowt and despite his goal against County has contributed very little to the season. Time for Dougie too come back please.
  5. Although wasn't he keen to stay with us? Yes but it would have required a fee to bring him in permanently and after relegation we had no money to spend on players.
  6. Seriously doubt it. And very good prank dead ball.

I really like the guy at Tottenham. Wilson Palacios. He ain't the best in the world but certainly one of the best defensive mids in the PL. Aquilani is injured atm. Hope he is fit soon as i'm going to see Liverpool next week.
  8. The 3-2 win over Celtic, one of the best games of football ever in the SPL.
  9. "The Fortune tellers" sounds like the name of some sort of hippy style band. But we need to get bragging rights before we can think of new wisecracks to use against our enemies.

  11. Thank you Georgios.

Loads if quality midfielders have been chucked from this club over the last couple of years and looking at it now it is clear that it shouldn't have been done. RiG is right, Rankin should never have been let go although he would have left on a free had he still been here. Richie Hart was another one. Despite his controversies there is no doubt he was a very affective player who would have made a difference had he played. Bazza should never have been let go either but Brewsters hatred of him meant he would never stay. Vigurs has been the latest one and that came back to bite us big time in the 1st derby. Unfortunately there was no keeping Cowie, Morais and Black, they were out of our hands.
  13. Would have too agree with what Georgios is saying. There were alot of players within Scotland who would have been worth trying to sign but we didnt even look in that department i guess. This was a big mistake imo as every player we brought in is totally inexperienced in this country and have barely played a handful of games for their previous club. It is almost as identical as last summer. We brought in inexperienced players and we struggled as we let go of so much already within the team. TB's other commitments don't help much either as he is barely there during the week and today was a perfect example. He was missing for 3 days with Scotland and he wasnt even going to Japan! This must affect the players as they play for this man week in, week out yet there have been occaisions were they have barely seen him. I understand there have been cuts financially but the board have to let some more money become available because this team is still lacking alot and that needs to be sorted. Regardless of what position we are in come January. Those are the 3 key areas that i think are to blame. I don't think it is a case of who, more what.
  14. Nick Ross is not a CM, Lionel isn't a left winger. Foran desperately needs someone he can link up with in attack. I'd go with: Esson Tokely Munro Bulvitis Golabek Ross Cox McBain Hayes Imrie Foran Subs: Allison, Proctor, Rooney, Sanchez, Barrowman Kev pretty much picked my team for me.
  15. He is the only player who really seems to care at the opposite end of the park. This is a wind up surely.
  16. There were plenty of free agents available from this league that would have been great additions to this team, but for some reason we didn't bother.
  17. They'd be lucky to get a new 5 day contract at this rate.
  18. Spot on Tiger.
  19. If he really cares then after today he will quit the Scotland job and putting everything into ICT. Given he was barely there this week for training with us and not even at the Scotland game says alot about his commitment. But with no job garunteed here next season there is no way he will quit the Scotland role.
  20. Once a fortress that teams feared...now an absolute p***ing ground for any team. Too weak, too slow, lacking creativity and ran out of ideas far too quickly afterwhich we gave up. Disgraceful, simply disgraceful.
  21. Am i right in thinking Royster is due a testimonial next year?
  22. I am also happily learning of DJS and am experiencing the micra feel. Finding the Bite was near to impossible at one point, now not so bad. My first car is also a Nissan Micra.

    HAPPY BIRTHDAY

    Many happy returns Don.
  24. Don't think he was quite good enough in the SPL but i think McBain would be a very useful player in division 1. I thought when i heard he was staying that he would play regularly but it ain't happened. I do hope he gets back in the team though. Cox ain't been the best recently but i don't think he was too bad last game. Hoping he gets back to his determined ways.
