Only good signing Saints made was Jack Ross and even then he's nearly 32. I think we will be ok. If we get an experienced striker and another centre-back we should be decent enough. Personally i think St Mirren will go down. There players are either too old or not good enough and there manger shows very little ambition for them.

Who cares if wer going off topic. Im sure your size came in very handy Don. But if that paticular back 4 gets caught on a counter or a 3 on 4 situation it probably couldnt cope. Plus i think the likes of Aiden McGeady are slightly better than the guy you took on....and i have seen you before.

Could you also imagine how slow a back four it would be. If they came up against McGeady it would be like watching the tortoise and the hare..except the hare would win.

Cowie would be fully committed to ICT right up until his contract runs out. There is nothing wrong with him wanting to take the next step up in his career if he feels ready for it and doesn't want to remain at ICT. He wouldn't suddenly stop trying in any game he played in. He would still play his heart out up until he leaves (in a hypothetical scenario with us) like he did with County the other season. Thats not the point. Point is 1 minute he says he wants to stay and extend his stay, the next minute he considers heading to Easter Road or Pittodrie.

Get The Don, Blackie, Ike, and Munro sortd for new deals. Sign a proper, experienced centre forward Sign a well thought off defender.

What about getting O'Dea or Cuthbert on loan from Celtic? Both are relatively tall, in need of regular football and have represented there country in some shape or form. :tic01:
