  1. If we stay up it would be great to point the finger at them and say we were right. Looking forward to the closing stages of the season
  2. The squad looks so much stronger now, even with Cowie gone. Everything looks promising and i'am really looking forward to seeing the team in action come Saturday vs Killie. Hats of to i fine 4 days work from Terry.
  3. Brian Kerr signed contract till the end of the season according to official site.

    Don Cowie

ICTs official site confirms he's away. Good luck Chipper.
  5. Really looking forward to tomorrow, hoping we can get some new faces, although i hope we do all our buisness in the morning because thats the only time i get private study on a Monday, meaning it's the only time i can check and they banned me from this website :thumb04:
  6. He reminded me a bit of Aluko at Aberdeen. Good bit of quick feet and not afraid to run at defenders, let's hope he's as successful as Aluko then.

    Djebi-zadi

Last name i expected to see mentioned in the squad, let alone the starting line up. Couple of questions. How did you rate him today? Does he have a future at ICT under Butcher based on todays display?
  8. As a fan of LFC i would love this to be our year but they have dropped too many points against lesser teams like Fulham, Hull and Stoke, twice. They haven't strengthened at all in January due to the rift with the owners and unfortunately i think that may tell as the season draws to a close, plus the specualtion of Robbie Keane certainly dosen't appear to be helping. Although in saying that they pulled of a terrific late win today to show there still in it but i think all they can reallistically achieve is a very close second.

Such a drag. I can't find him on Fifa 09.
  10. Was great to see him back and great to see that Butcher picked him. Showed as he put in a good shift today, hopefully he plays every game between no and the end of the season. He seems well up for it.

    Barrowman

Thats what he got from Butcher today as he was subbed for Rooney and it's something Brew lacked as a manger imo, was good man managment skills. I think Terry seems to know how it's done as you could see the reactions of the players to him, it all seemed really positive. Thats the sort of thing our players have needed is a more positive attitude towards everything and i think that will only bring out the best in them, even Lionel had a half decent game today.

He was great today and i think we should defnitely extend his stay here as he and Munro seem to have forged a great partnership at the back.
  13. I think we will need 1 more player defnitely but with Cowie going i think that will leave us need another wide player so plus Kerr, i would not object to the idea of Jim Paterson or Stevie Smith either would do me. I don't think Big Terry will just settle for one signing tomorrow.
  14. Just goes to show where speaking out can get you.
  15. I think it depends whether your signing the player or loosing a player as to whether you don't like them or not. I don't think there would have been any way of stopping Blackie going to Hearts, perhaps if another club but not Hearts. Even if Butcher had come in a month ago. Fraser possibly and same with Cowie. I won't get to bothered over the loss of Fraser but Cowie will be hard act to replace in midfield, while the potential signings of Brian Kerr and Jim Paterson are encouraging they are very different midfielders and are at a very different point in their careers to Cowie. Whats also rather annoying to the point is that over the last three seasons all our key players have left for either nothing or cut prices. Dods, Brown, Dargo, and now Black, Cowie, Fraser, think of how much money we have lost in terms of transfer value.
  16. As i recall we tryed to sign McManus twice while he was at Dundee and then Dunfermline and on both occasions he snubbed to stay in the 1st division.
  17. I don't think we would be discussing taking Steven Smith on loan if Thierry Gathuessi and Filipe Morais were already on loan, according to wikipedia and my Hibs supporting friend both were released from there deals which expired this summer so they could join ICT, similar circumstances to Richie Forans move here as well.
  18. It will certainly make the final few months very intresting yes. Knowing that for once we have got everything to play for so there will be no excuse to sit back once the split fixtures are decided. Hopefully if we stay up in our final home game there will be a pitch invasion. I miss them
  19. I see, i did wonder, thanks for clearing that up for me.
  20. If im right in thinking these are both potential loan moves then it can't happen. Paterson is 29 and Smith is 23. SPL rules say you can't more than one player over the age of 21 on loan am i right? I believe thats why Yantornos move to Hamilton fell through today.
  21. Better change mine given its been a busy week in the transfer market. Esson Tokely, Munro, Mihadjuks, Byrne Zander, Duncan, Black, Vigurs Foran, Imrie subs. Fraser, McGuire, Duff, Morais(if at all fit), Rooney, Odhiambo, Wood
  22. Finally some strikers with a decent pedigree arrive. Wonder what this means for Barrowman. Delighted to see that Foran is here and Odhiambo is simply a bonus, lets hope he cuts the mustard here. Butcher so far knows how to pick his players.
  23. Because Craig Brewster was our manager.
  24. Are we just suggesting Tam McManus? If we are yes i think he'd be a good edition to our team. I would imagine Brian Kerr will end up joining us now, good signing he would be too.
  25. I haven't looked forward to going to a home game this much since....i can't even remember.
