  1. Alot of Brewsters choices are mind-baffling. The only wide player i would consider playing on both sides is Vigurs. He looks fairly comfy with both feet. I don't even think Dougie Imrie is a very good wide-player...his best position is defnitely when deployed just behind a striker. Cowie is ok but i have watched him play in the middle and he looks even better there at times. I hope we get a new wide player come January as we are lacking one thats consistent.
  2. I agree. He would never have resigned...because he would have nowhere to got too if he did.
  3. So pleasing to see us win so convincingly and save a penalty which as a fan i have never seen or heard us achieve. Lets follow this up by getting some points of the Bairns and the Jambos.
  4. I think Esson playing is a good idea, i think changes need to be made after last week. Mike had an off game and Esson has played well in the cup games....so in my view its a good choice.
  5. Its ashame because Zander has always looked very promising in his cameo appearences. Also on the few times he played in pre-season he looked fairly encouraging.....couldn't care less about Rory , he is a drunken waste of space. Cowie hasn't exactly looked the best out wide this season so i would give him or Barry a shout....especially considering he has just 2 months on his current deal left.
  6. Esson Tokely, Duff, Munro, Hastings Wilson, Cowie, Black, Vigurs Imrie, Barrowman subs. Fraser, Djebi-Zadi, McGuire, Zander, Duncan, Wood, Rooney
  7. His deal does expire at the end of the season....unless he is sacked in which case its pre-matuer. I've tried phoning into Jim Traynor on 2 or 3 occasions but it has proved to be unsuccessful....im yet to hear an Inverness fan on the show, ever.
  8. Just out of intrest is Zanders deal expiring in the summer??
  9. Reason behind the suggestion of Foran is that his contract with Southend is up at the end of season. As is McPake at Livingston. Also out of intrest Robbie Winters has left SK Brann....to return to Scotland.
  10. I would try and get James McPake to fill the space for big defender, or may'be take a look at Brent Sancho, i think he is still without a club. In terms of a new wide player would may'be try for Dorrans again...a year on after first trying. Or Owen Morrison who i read is looking for a club, was a good player for Dunfermline. New strikers well the idea of Robbie Winters is pritty good, but i think we should go for Richie Foran as i heard he wants to return north. To top it off Sean Higgins contract is up at the end of the season and i think another County steal would prove a good peace of buisness, considering Higgins is a decent player.
  11. 1. The Departed 2. The Untouchales 3. Bourne Identity 4. Restless Natives 5. American Graffiti
  12. We will survive i think. We've been having a bad run of form recently but i think with the 2 home games we have next week following the trip to Easter road will be a good chance to get some results, and i think we will take them. In terms of our squad i think Brew knows only to well that we need to strenghten come January. I think 4 or 5 decent signings should certainly give us a more than capable squad (pending on who we get and if Brews still here). But like my top line says. We will get through it i think.

    Sean Higgins

There was an article in Daily Express saying we were after him in the summer and that we may be looking at him again, purely speculation but could he cut it in the SPL? He has been a good player at Ross County for a while.
  14. Would at least like to see Winters come on trial I wonder if we may go for Graham Dorrans on loan again. He hasn't kicked a ball since he joined West Brom, which is understandable.
  15. I think he hinted in the P&J that he wanted a new deal. I for one would give him a new contract. This squad needs all the experience it can get at the moment. I don't really know how we can say he looks past it....he has hardly played any football this season. And in the tricky times when he could have played we may have got something from the games we lost.

    Proctor

I watched him in the reserve game last week and he looked ok for a guy whos hardly kicked a ball this season. It was another stupid idea to throw him in the deep end against Rangers but i think he will end up making that his own position til McGuire returns from injury.
  17. Don't want anybody back for a second spell. Wouldn't mind Craig Brown if he wanted the job. Would may'be like John Collins as well.
  18. I don't think the players have much time for Brewster or Thomson. I think Brewster struggles to deal with players that are perhaps a bit difficult to work with, e.g Black and Rankin who left not very long after Brew came back. Also the fact that he wasn allegedly very unpopular when he first left the club had me wondering as to why they took him back 2nd time round. A year on from all this and we find ourselves struggling badly in the league with arguably the weakest and most inexperienced team we've had since entering the SPL. Alot of this is down to Brews choices of the team and transfers and so far it's proved to backfire badly. If Brew were to get the boot I think we would really need to get some sort of person to manage the team that will give the 1st team a right kick up the backside and stamp out the complacency that has got into some of our first team players...but then pops up the usual question, who?

    Alex Rae

Don't want anyone back for a second time. We need fresh ideas injected into this club. I feel sympathy for Rae as the dark blues are skint and he had major injury problems so i find his sacking incredibly harsh. I think Gordon Chisolm would be good, would may'be go for Alex Rae, whats Craig Brown doing these days?? Also Gerard Houllier is still out of work
  20. Defnitely sounds like a man who cares too me....lost for words at what he has just witnessed may'be but he does care. Annoying thing is if you class Wood and Duff as a re-shuffle then we seriously need to get new bodys in because neither of them are good enough to change any game really if you look at who was sacrificed for them.
  21. Bring back Paul Ritchie as player/manager...and with his accountant skills he can certainly do a better job at handling finances in signing players and contracts
  22. Richie Foran is keen to move north again. Was a very good player for Motherwell and is only playing on loan for Darlington...i think he would defnitely be worth considering.

He was injured most of that time, i think people are rating on his performances for Aberdeen.

Knowing Brew it was probably his plan to put Ryan Esson in the starting team. But he wanted to wait and see how Ike gets on. But had it been Brew as manager 2 years ago when Brown left i imagine he may have handled things differently.
