  1. Lenny Pidgeley released by Exeter. Could be decent cover/competition for Esson.
  2. Agreed with DC, we have never seen him paired with someone decent up front...in fact for most of the season he has been punted onto the left wing where he was absolutely useless. Hoping he stays but with the temptation of European football he may well go. If they sign Miller then C*unty will need a solid right back with SPL experience to fill his boots. A certain David Proctor is a free agent?
  3. Graham wouldnt be a bad signing, with Aberdeen sniffing Cardle is unlikely to come here...the rest that got chucked are either old or crap.
  4. Gary Glen would still be a shout, he's shown flashes of quality at Hearts and scored some important goals for them too. Combination of managerial changes and 1 or 2 injuries have haulted his progress but he could defnitely do a job for us.
  5. Pleased Gillet has been offered terms, he has been a consistent performer throughout the season and given the way our defence is looking come pre season i think its essential we keep him. Piermayr has been unfortunate. He has been in and out of the team all season but he didnt have the benefit of a full pre season under his belt last year. If he stays on and remains fit i can see him eventually making the right back position his own.
  6. Fleetwood, best pre season trip ever.
  7. Sounds a tad greedy.
  8. I'm probably off my head for saying it but if we do get a few decent bodies through the door i can actually see us kicking on next season. The players in the squad will have learnt alot from their first season in the SPL together and hopefully they will come back the stronger from it. Butcher is included in that, he was rather self reflective in his final interview and i hope he puts his words into action. Agreed with Scotty, think Hearts are going to noise dive with the exodus that is due in the summer and the lack of investment from Comrade Romanov.
  9. If theyre going for Cardle does that mean theyve given up for Hayes?
  10. Great news. He's an integral part of the side. Hopefully this will be an incentive for a few more to sign.
  11. I'm glad he is being honest, not many players are that open about being offered a poor contract. As things stand the only centre back we will have come pre season is Chris Hogg..,enough said there. Tokely shouldn't be getting retained purely on merit. He is owed it by some of his performances from over the season. Next to Golobart he has been the best defender we have had this season. I remember Esson scoffing at an original offer he was given a couple of seasons back, i hope the club can give Tokely something at least close to what he wants.
  12. I've been to every SPL ground in the country this season...the only place where i got abused purely for supporting Caley was in Aberdeen. Most places are ok. You get the odd fan that makes a joke but most always get the crack with you. You dont get any banter at Aberdeen with supporters.
  13. 6-3 away at Killie in November is probably the only moment of note but what moment it was. The week after we were cruelly beaten 3-2 by Motherwell at home i turned up at that game with little to no expectations but even at 1-0 down the enthusiasm of our support never stopped wringing through the stands and it turned out to be the greatest away day i have ever been on, im guessing Andrew Shinnie would say the same. I learnt alot that day. One thing is that anything is possible. Another was that as an ICT supporter who is by no means an athlete i was near dead having celebrated 4 goals in about 20 minutes, didnt expect to use up so much stamina.

Having watched and also played with some of the lads that have been chucked i have to say im really suprised at some of the players who have been released and i think the club are playing a dangerous game but letting so many go.
  15. Given Hearts situation i think Ridgers will be there for a while.
  16. All of the OP's list are signed as well as Meekings. From whats been said Esson, McKay, Hayes and Tansey have been offered 2 year deals while Tade has been offered a 12 month extension. We know from twitter that Proctor and Tuffey are departing while it was confirmed the 3 loan players have returned to their parent clubs. Everyone else is in the limbo it would seem.
  17. Joe Cardle is another Pars player who looked decent. Got Pars player of the year and has always been their main source of creativity whenever ive seen him.
  18. Was a good servant to the club but has struggled to establish himself in the first team for the last couple of years, good luck to him whereever he goes.
  19. Having watch the highlights the lad Doherty can have few complaints about the penalty and got hit by instant karma by injuring himself while kicking out at Billy McKay, it was a very unnecessary lunge.
  20. Williams liked it up here i think and if Butcher is as intent as he is in keeping the squad together then its perfectly understandable if he does try to bring him back. Thought he was decent when he played.

He's beyond the SPL in terms of quality and has great ability for a player of his age. He will come to play at high level. Good luck to the lad wherever he goes.
  22. A free kick, a penalty, and a win by 2 clear goals. Something we've craved all season and finally seen. A game that had little to shout over but was provided with one moment of magic by Greg Tansey. He has had his critics this season but i think overall he has been a great addition to the team, his passes may not come off all the time and he may have not scored as much as expected but the flashes of quality have been there this season and with a good summer under his belt i think he will come back a better and more consistent player. The money benefited from finishing 10th will be helpful to the squad and i look on with much anticipation in seeing who remains and who goes now. Its not been an easy season and it has tested the resistence of many im sure but we have stayed in the league and are now in a position to crack on and have another dig at moving up the table. Enjoy your break folks and see you in the summer.
  23. Since when was Ross Tokely a passenger? He may not be as good as he was but no one can say he has had a terrible season, in recent months he has been one of our best players and given we already suffer from a lack of experience in defence just now i would say it would be foolish to let him go just now. Hogg has no immediate return date and Williams and Golobart are only on loan, that would leave us with no centre backs come pre season. I echo GMD's thoughts of 1 more year.
  24. Think i might cry if this turns out to be his last game, ive never seen an ICT side that Ross Tokely hasnt played for before. I hope he stays.
  25. Please stay forever Roman.
