The most epic end to a Grand Prix that i've ever seen.

St Johnstone signed Jordan Robertson after he just got out from the clink, he killed someone while behind the wheel i think. In the case of bringing in a player with a serious conviction i would be skeptical but i wouldn't be totally against it. Once people have done their time for a serious crime they still have yo find a job and work when they get out and footballers are no different. Yes it would be difficult for the victims to see it but these guys don't lose their talent. Football clubs choose if they employ players with such an issue. If they have shown the capability to learn from their mistakes then they would have my support. I would certainly draw the line at Marlon King though, i watched an interview with him after he was released from prison last year and he showed no remoarse for what he did. He dosen't want to learn from his mistakes. He should not be in football with the record that he has and to be perfectly honest i wouldn't be suprised if he ended up back in prison again. Talented player but just a bad person.

Do they need him? Got McGovern and Malin.

Absolutley!! I think Tade could well turn out to be an excellent signing. Is this maybe an indication the Rooney wont be about next season? Tade is not a direct replacement for Rooney i think, if he is then i strongly advise Mr Butcher that he brings in another striker.

Was watching the 4-3 win over Raith last year. You see some of the best of Tade in that, a goal and an assist.

8 out of 10, adequately satisfactory.

Great signing. Im glad Terry is keeping tight lipped about all the speculation that surrounds us as it seems better for buisness. In terms of who we've brought in i dont think Tade will have a massive return in terms of goals but his workrate and physical presence will no doubt come in handy.
  8. Barrowman wasnt paid to leave. His contract was cancelled. No cash exchange was made. Im sure we wouldve had to pay off Brewster when he got sacked, thats the main one i can think off.
  9. The only talent i seem to recall him having was his ability to take penalties. Saw him to take a couple in the shoot outs we had last season and he always managed to find a top corner. But that is his only real way of hitting the back of the net.
  10. All i can say is he defnitely has a point to prove and if they suffer from a lack of goals this season we will know why.

The only talent i seem to recall De Graaf posessing was the ability to miss open goals. I agree with what your saying, last season they had the likes of Stokes, Miller, Riordan, Brown all hitting full form and imo they were the best side in the league for playing football. Stark contrast to this season where they have been totally dire. But Hibs are paying the price for their lack of stability. 5 managers in 5 years is hardly helpful. Thats 5 different people with different ideas, approaches and plans. Calderwood obviously feels that the squad is in need of a refurbishment and whether fans agree with him or not he is the manager and what he feels is best will be done. I think what Starchief says is right though, they are heading for big problems on the horizon unless they can seriously strengthen their team. Its probably the quickest demise i have seen of a team in a long time, or one that hasnt involved administration anyway.
  12. Glad to see we have aquired Tansey, club seem to be going all out on these 1 year deals though, if most players we sign over the summer are on the same terms then com next summer Ross, Sutherland, Morrison and Shinnie will be our only players under contract. Not too bothered about big Shinnie, but would've like Irvine, especially if we only end up bringing McCann back, imo Irvine wouldve been the better option.
  13. Terry and Mo strike me as the sort of guys who would want to know the in's and out's of anything to do with the squad.

One of the best target man strikers we ever had. His commitment and experience will be a great gain for Dundee.
  15. We found Gillet playing for Barnet who stayed up by the skin of they're teeth this season. SPL clubs have unearthed some real gems from League 2, the likes of Gillet, Chris Humphrey, Giles Coke, Richie Foran were all found at the same level and all went on to establish themselves as terrific players in the SPL. Tansey is coming with a good reputation so there is no reason why he wont be just as good as them.
  16. Sounds like Tansey could be a great signing, would love if we could add Tade and Shinnie to the ranks as well and would defnitely prefer Irvine to McCann as a full back.
  17. P&J has George Fraser saying he expects some new signings to arrive next week, i shan't hold my breath.
  18. Duncan and Duff, your argument there i can understand and i actually agree but McCann and Munro are 2 very different players...i liked McCann though i think he is too injury prone to take a risk on. But you've got to say, who's the better player to have in your team - McCann or Munro? Munro is the handsdown winner. I never really took to McCann at all. He was always injured, slower than a week in jail and couldn't pass the ball to save his life. Yeah i totally agree. Munro is a better player by miles. But im just illustrating that one is a full back and the other is a center half.
  19. Was Mihadjuks not capped while playing for us? Or was he just called up to the squad for the first time while with us?

  21. Anyone offered a new deal by the club is yet to sign just now.
  22. Ross County have signed a premier legaue player there. Glad he hasnt had to move away at all. Hope all goes well for him.
  23. Please stop wearing the skin tight leggings, they simply look ridiculous.
  24. Apart from left back and goalkeeper i think we're needing personnel in just about every department.
  25. Duncan or McBain.
