Enough of the nonsense about begging neutrals to turn up and slashing the entrance fee. Charge the proper amount and the fans will turn up. Get rid of the inferiority complex please. This is a history making time for the club and the city, people will turn up and bring their kids. Let's not start calling those who don't usually go to games "glory hunters" or other derogatory terms. The excitement will build and we will have a great cup final.

I remember Jimmy Smith quite well. He was the Caley goalie for quite a few years. He emigrated to Canada in the late 1960's but I never recall hearing anything about him after that. As for the result against Elgin. You're probably better asking on their website about that one!

Just watched the highlights and we were very pleasing on the eye. Watkins has carried on where little k left off by running defences ragged. We will always miss many more than we score that's the nature of football but we are doing what we do beautifully. Long may it continue.

I agree that they certainly have some sad individuals among their support who come from such a huge and wealthy club that they could never lower themselves to visit such a small and impoverished club as ourselves. I believe that they are the noisy minority however and I would rather see two highland sides in the top league.

I remember coming away from the ground and listening to Bill McAllister give his report on the BBC. He finished the report by saying so, Inverness Thistle sitting second bottom of the Highland League have beaten Kilmarnock three nil! I wasn't a Jags supporter but still gave a little fist pump at that remark.
