    POTY

Advice needed for the hard of thinking - Where is the POTY forum? I haven't been on the site for a while and thought I would vote on last Saturdays game, but can't seem to find where to vote.
  3. For what it's worth, I really like the original line-up by HC. As I don't think McAllister is anywhere near ready for the 1st team, that said I will be VERY surprised if this is the line-up CC will choose.
  4. Good news! I think Wilson has done well for us this season.
  5. I've been thinking, ICT could make more money out of this idea - they could put names of ex players on the shorts as well. For a start, they could have Liam Keogh's name on the front in 10 inch long letters and Les Fridge's on the back, right next to the arse hole :003:
  6. I got to my seat last night and there was someone sitting there. I politely said - "excuse me mate your sitting in my seat". his reply was - "no I'm not, this is my seat" - not 'oh am I ?' or a 'sorry' "well it's got my name on it" I said. "well that's not my problem, I've got a ticket for this seat" he replied. I asked could I see his ticket, he had the right seat number and the right row but the wrong section (A instead of B). I asked him knowingly "your first time at the stadium is it?" Bloody Rangers fans - pity I didn't see him after our late goal.
  7. Cheers CaleyD!
  8. Has anyone else seen the new Bond film - Casino Royale? I went to see it last night with a couple of mates and thought it was very good indeed! It was less gadget driven and much less over the top or silly. Thought Daniel Craig did a great job and reminded me more of the Connery era. If you haven't been yet then I would advise you to go and see it, just don't sit in the front row like we had to do, as by the end you will have a sore neck!
  9. Cool video. I liked there last one, but I think this is better.
  10. I have listed the Celtic programme 8/2/00 on ebay, item no. is 330050283368 (just type the item number into the search space). If anyone is interested.
  11. Hi Scotty, These are the only programmes I have kept over the years. I have been pm'd by 1 other person concerning that programme, but didn't know how much it would be worth. I don't know what the best way of going about it would be. I could put it on ebay and let you both bid for it or we could do a similar thing through pm's on this site? Will contact the other person and you can let me know what you think. cheers
  12. Over the years I have seemed to accumulate a lot of stuff (wife says junk) and am wanting to try and downsize a bit. So am thinking of selling some ICT programmes if anyone is interested before I try ebay. The reason I said 'special' programmes is because I am selling : 1. The programme from parkhead when we beat Celtic 3-1 in the Scottish cup 08/02/00, which has been signed by the ICT 1st team squad and still contains my original ticket and a poster from the Daily Record about the win. 2. From the game vs St Johnstone - the day we won 1st division title 15/05/04. 3.From the Bells cup final when we won the cup against Airdrie United 26/10/03. 4. From the game when we beat Celtic 1-0 at home in the Scottish cup 23/03/03. 5. From both our Scottish cup semi-final games, against Dundee 20/04/03 and Dunfermline 20/04/04. 6. Our first game in the SPL against Livingston away 07/08/04. 7. Both programmes from the Scottish cup games in the 4th round against Aberdeen (after we beat Celtic for the 1st time) 20/02/00 and 29/02/00. 8. Finally, a game against Aberdeen in the league cup 2nd round 8/8/98. If anyone is interested you can pm me or post here, I am open to offers and may sell separately.

    John Rankin

CaleyD, I know what you are saying about Rankin scoring 2 goals in the game, but if you were at the game I'm sure you would have agreed that Rankin was awful for most of the game and was to blame for us losing the 2nd goal.
  14. I have a major complaint to make to anyone in admin. I went to the player of the year section of the site to post my 3 best players of the day and to my dismay it wouldn't let me give 5,3 and 1 points to the Falkirk keeper. This is something that should be amended immediately as he was by far our best player today :003:
  15. Yeh, for the 3rd goal the free kick was just in front of my brother and I and we were both shouting to Rankin "Shoot, just shoot, the keeper is shocking just get a shot on target and it might go in." Any shot on or off target today the keeper made look dangerous.

    John Rankin

I thought Rankin didn't play well today but took 2 brilliant free-kicks (sounds like a Beckham type performance). Kencar, he (Rankin) did move to the middle of the park when Hart came on. Which BTW I think is a shame for Hart as Rankin is a least left footed was moved from wide left to accommodate Hart on the left. Surely it would make more sense to just have a straight swap with Hart for McBain as Hart is not a winger or even left footed.
  17. First post for me for a while, but I just had to comment on THAT keeper. What a plonker!! I have just seen the highlights on Sentanta and the 3rd goal looks even worse on the tv. Without doubt that is the worst performance I have ever seen from a keeper at the Caley stadium - yes even worse than Les Fridge against Ayr Utd in the cup. He should have definitely got the man of the match award from the match day sponsor (just for a laugh). Lets not be fooled ICT were abysmal for 70 minutes of the game, but when we finally decided to attack them Falkirk fell apart. Question for anyone - If you were the Falkirk manager what could you say to the keeper after that performance?? Does anyone know if the keeper has a fan club because I would like to join it as he was funnier than most standup comics I have seen :notworthy01:
  18. Thanks Alistair!
  19. Did we decide on a definitive answer?? Is the goal-kick retaken?
  20. I've tried to find a rule on this and found that "once the ball is kicked no player is allowed to touch the ball until it leaves the box". So this is an infringement, but can't find out if the kick is retaken or if an indirect free kick is awarded. (Although I think TM4TJ could be right with his retake guess)
  21. :015:
  22. Can anyone tell me what the official ruling is for the following scenario :- A team has a bye kick which the keeper takes, but when he kicks the ball it hits his centre-half on the back of the head (who is still inside his own box). The ball then goes straight to his right back. Is this an indirect free kick inside the box where the ball hit the centre-half, as you can not pass to someone in the box? or are you supposed to just play on as it was not intentional? Cheers
  23. I have to admit that at the Scotland game from the Caley stadium I thought that none of the ICT boys played very well, and apart from Naysmith I thought Miller was Scotland's best player that night I thought Dargo and Brown were poor and Blacky certainly did himself no favours, that said over the season they have been very consistant.
  24. I also thought that Dargo could have got into the SPL team of the season, which was on Scotsport SPL. Instead they picked Riordan who got one less goal, even though he is playing for a better team. BTW I watched Hostage (with Bruce Willis) the other day and one of the main characters on that is called Walter Smith, pointless information I know, I just thought I would share it. :003:
  25. I agree that Rory should go out on loan as IMHO he is far from a SPL player at the moment. A spell at a lower league team would do him good, it certainly worked a few years ago for the Ginger Whinger (Forfar I think)
