  1. I would say that if it was a friendly then I would be neutral, but then if it was a competitive game I would support Scotland. As peoples allegiances for clubs is optional whereas I think your nationality should be more personal and important. I am a passionate ICT fan, but I am definitely more of a passionate Scot!!!!

Only kidding :015: I have seen Langfield many times, seen Malkowski quite a lot and have seen more of Ridgers than you (just) :015:

Again you know this how? What is your problem Chris? :029: As with everything else in life football is all about opinions, I believed what I said about Ridgers/Langfield/Malkowski to be correct, but then again it is only my opinion I never said it was gospel. You should notice my use of the word "think" on both occasions, I never said I "know" at all!!! I baised what I said on the fact I have seen all the above keepers on many occasions. No one can say that everything they say on here is fact (including you I may add) as someone could think a player is brilliant whereas someone else will say he is hopeless- that is football I'm afraid. I have no problem with you having an opininon on the boy, aslong as its not a wild guess. If you have been to a few reserve games this season and watched the boy play and think he doesnt cut the mustard than fair enough, however if you are having a wild stab in the dark, simply because the boy comes from the lower leagues, then thats where I get annoyed. I remember him putting in a superb preformance against Rangers in the reserves, however thats all Ive seen of the boy so I cant exactly judge him, however staying in Aberdeen I have seen Langfield play a few times and he makes Malkowski look like Petr feckin Cech You know this how?

Thanks for the back up CaleyD, but TBH I am never surprised to see Elgin let in 4 or more as they have been gash ever since they got into the Scottish league :015:

  6. I think danny DeVito could play a lot of our players, past and present e.g Stewart, Glancy, Keogh, Black and especially Macdonald

For all those saying Ridgers is so good - I think he is back where he belongs - the lower leagues, not the SPL and I still think Langfield is much better than Malkowski

Who would you rather have in goal - Langfield - who has been full time all his life, been involved in Scotland squads and someone who Aberdeen recently turned down a ?50,000 (I think it was) bid from Rangers. or Ridgers - ICT youth player, then Clach player, before rejoining ICT What an illustrious career I'm not saying Langfield is brilliant but he is at least much better than Ridgers and is every bit as good (if not better than) Fraser- lets not forget he would still be number 1 choice at Aberdeen if he hadn't fallen out with Calderwood.

Think Brew should sign Jamie Langfield from Aberdeen as he is out of favour with them (Calderwood said he would never play for him again) and Fraser needs competition which I don't think he will get from Ridgers
  10. Vinny Jones would have to play Paul Cherry Chris Evans to play Barry Robson Pete Docherty to play Richie Hart
  11. I lot of us were angry that we "thought " ICT had not even contacted Mr Warnock, having read his article this is clearly not true and he was contacted by David Sutherland but was not interested in the job. I would like to say well done to the board for getting in touch with Warnock, but it might have been wise for them to tell the fans they did this as it would have saved them a lot of agro and slagging by a lot of people on this site (including myself). Personally I don't feel as annoyed as I did at the apointment of Brewster as my main gripe was the lack of contact with Neil (Colin) Warnock
  12. I am happy to say I am not one of those people Smee :015:
  13. :rotflmao: Thanks for that joke, I was sitting here quite depressed after the Brewster appointment but that cheered me up no end!
  14. But lets hope just not by us!!
  15. I have always liked Grassa and find him very approachable and chatty, whereas a lot of people in football think they are above talking to 'the great unwashed' - as Jim Traynor would say. I think he has the clubs best interest at heart and does a great job. As for his salary, I have heard him say to a friend of mine that he "receives no payment from ICT" - in saying that this may have changed. If the ?40,000 figure is for directors then I am assuming that Mr Bennett certainly does not recieve all this money himself. If this figure is correct then it is a miniscule amount of money when you consider what directors of other SPL clubs get. I would say lay off Bennett, he is a local/likable guy who cares for the club immensly and has so far done a great job and deserves credit for his service, he has been an integral part of getting ICT in the SPL, for which we should be grateful. Keep up the good work Grassa!! :clapping03:
  16. Thank feck that little barsteward didn't fancy the job, or I think attendances would go wayyyyyy down. I am surprised we even considered him ( if the story is true ) as he is a toe-rag.
  17. I think the selectors of the squads must think to themselves - well this boy is always in the squad of an SPL side, gets on quite a bit and even starts a few games, so therefore he must be good. Which unfortunatly he isn't
  18. Just looked up Neil Warnock in Wikepedia and it made interesting reading! Amongst many other things: He once turned down a lucrative offer to be Chelsea boss Amazingly, he used to own a greengrocers and also ran his own chiropody practice!! (players would be fine if they got blisters on their feet) There is even a BIG list of managers, clubs and refs who he has had disputes with. He is fully qualified as a ref But, just dont call him COLIN !! :004:
  19. Brewster = Great player, Mediocre manager Warnock = Mediocre player, Great manager
  20. Did any of the fans politely point out the results of our managers poll?
  21. Warnock and Park sounds better :023:
  22. Any ideas when the meeting is supposed to finished? Here's hoping Bennett/savage have contacted Warnock and offered him the job!!
  23. Quality! I wanted Warnock before, but I definitely want him as manager now. A bit of passion that's what we need. I think if we did get Warnock we would get a great high profile manager, who talks sense and is passionate about what he does. My wishlist would be: 1. Warnock (by far and away my 1st choice) 2. Pressley (would at least be good as a player) 3. Coyle (if we could get him for nothing if not would be my last choice) 4/5. Brewster and Robbo (can't really decide between the 2) 6. Paterson 7. Please not Malpas (ok, he is out of work but there is a reason for that - he is a crap manager and is about exciting as watching paint dry)
  24. I like the idea of Warnock as our next manager, I always thought he talked sense and was very passionate. As for Brewster, he had a great game for Aberdeen on Sunday and we could do with up front, don't know about his management abilities though.
  25. I couldn't agree more I'm afraid, the guy (because he isn't a boy anymore) is hopeless, absolutely hopeless. Don't get me wrong this opinion is not just based on Saturday's performance, but everytime I have saw him.
