When Caley still played in the Highland league my 'big team' was Aberdeen. My Dad has always supported them and used to take me to some of the games when Fergie was still the manager. They really were a great team then and I still have very fond memories of watching them winning in cup finals. Strange to think now how bad The Dons have become and to see us above them in the league. I still have a soft spot for Aberdeen and they will always remain my '2nd team' and hope they win whenever they are not play ICT.

4-6-0 I read this formation in the paper and thought it was a joke, how wrong I was. How can a team start with no forward? This just proves Craig Levein hasn't a clue what he's doing. A quality manager like Jock Stein must be turning in their grave. Mr Levein you should be ashamed or at least totally embarassed, because I am after watching that.

Terrible team choice imho. Celtic park is not the place to give youngsters a chance, maybe against a 3rd division team but not one of the Old Firm. It should be Celtic playing the weakened side not us. I think Butcher almost decided we were never going to win this game and just decided to concentrate on the league (we on the other hand know that miracles can happen, and that we can beat Celtic). Not good for confidence or team morale.

I also believe that our starting 11 that have played the last few months will do very well in the SPL. If it aint broke don't fix it. The guys we are releasing are squad players so if we can replace them with some quality then I see no reason why we can't get into the near the top 6.

I'm afraid most of these guys weren't good enough IMHO. Shame to see Duff go, I thought he was a good prospect. But I was speaking to one of his family recently and they were saying his injury was very bad and could even be career threatening . Hope this isn't the case, all the best for the future Jamie!

I was very happy when we signed Golly, as I have always rated him VERY highly, IMHO he is our best ever left back (much better than Hastings). I played in the same team as both players (2 seasons with both), and believe it or not I played left back when I played in the same team as Golly. I have said before that I think County made a massive mistake giving us Golly back, as we would have been left with Lionel for the whole season. If this was the case I truly believe we wouldn't have won the league. Well done Golly, hope you stay another year!

Remember we are the club who sold prize assets like Robson, Rankin and Cowie etc etc etc for a fraction of there true value! ?50,000 (I think) for Cowie was one of the worst decision we ever made. He could have easily helped us get the 1 extra point we needed to stay in the SPL - that decision cost us at least 10 times that figure in lost revenue this year I would bet. Also, what is he worth now that he has 2 Scotland caps? Most of our players are out of contract this summer anyway so the argument is mute, but lets not kid ourselves - if any club phoned Bennett and offered over ?50,000 for any of our players I guarantee he would snap their hands off. Btw, how many of our players do we actually have signed for next season - I think we have Esson, Duncan, Rooney, Shinnie, and Ross but how many more?

Talks should have started in December, before anyone else could get our players to sign pre-contracts. Now we are champions, hopefully we can get most of the squad signed up asap.
