Last week - Lazlo's agent notes interest if the vacancy arises This week - ICT tell him that if he wants to be considered he'll need to apply for the job Doesn't mean that ICT want him, just that they'd be interested in seeing his CV, along with many others no doubt. This.
-
Keep in mind as well that we've not had too much call to change the first team squad. A little unfortunate for those waiting patiently in the wings, but that's just the way it goes sometimes.

How long is a piece of string? It's entirely dependent on the level of subscriber uptake. Aside from that, it's not for me to be going into that kind of minute detail..especially where it might be considered "commercially sensitive".
-
With it being delayed footage then I would hope that it would have very little, if any, impact on attendance figures. Time will tell whether there is enough demand to keep the project going. Part of the reason we have chosen not to follow the same route as other clubs (in terms of the platform being used) is so as not to expose the club to large (many thousands of £'s) in up front costs. Any sponsorship would be a bonus.
-
Better question, why not CaleyJags.TV? :P Mainly....the .TV domains are far more expensive.
-
It's simple economics....we have to charge at a level which we hope will provide sufficient income to cover the cost of providing the service and increasing club income. The current charge is $10, but our intention is to increase both quality and quantity of the content being offered as resources permit. As that happens then the price needs to rise to cover the additional cost...or, in an ideal scenario, we get sufficient subscribers to allow us to maintain a lower price point. I've checked out some of the paid offerings elsewhere and I couldn't allow the club, with clear conscience, to provide that level of service to fans for any price. If we're going to do it, we're going to do it right.
-
Was one of the trade offs we had to make when choosing the service provider. Others with multiple currency options were demanding far larger fees...and we'd rather the money went into the clubs pocket than theirs! Look after the pennies and the pounds take care of themselves (or cents and dollars in this instance).

CaleyJagsTV.com is the Official Online TV Subscription Channel of Inverness Caledonian Thistle FC. We're just getting things up and running, but the intention is to bring you full coverage of all the teams Scottish Premiership, Cup & U20's Matches (where rights allow). Cost of subscription will be $20* for 30 days and this gives you access to all footage available on the channel, including archive matches of games prior to your subscription date. As we're only just getting things up and running then we currently offer no guarantee on time-scale for match availability, but once we get going we intend to have games online by midnight on the day following the game. *Current Introductory Price is $10 for 30 days, available for a limited time only. IMPORTANT: Internet Explorer Users experiencing difficulties should try a different browser or accessing the site using the following link http://vimeo.com/ondemand/ictfc - there is a known issue and developers are working on a solution.

Announcement re Managerial Situation Inverness Caledonian Thistle FC regret to announce that, despite every effort to persade them to stay, Terry Butcher and Maurice Malpas have indicated their wish to relinquish their posts as manager and assistant manager of Inverness Caledonian Thistle. Compensation has been agreed with Hibernian FC. Chairman Kenny Cameron said: ”It is a major disappointment to the club and its supporters that they have taken this decision. I'd like to put on record our appreciation of the excellent job they have done at Inverness since Caley Thistle provided them with the opportunity to join the club in January 2009. "Maurice was offered the manager's role but declined. We would, however, like to record our sincere appreciation to him for taking the team on Saturday in what was a resounding victory. "On the field, skipper Richie Foran and the players showed great heart and character. We have a special group of players here and we intend to keep them at this club. Our supporters were excellent, as usual, and we now ask for their patience regarding the team management scenario. "This is the fourth time that Caley Thistle have found themselves in the situation of having their manager head hunted by another Scottish Premier club, with Steve Paterson, John Robertson and Craig Brewster being the other instances. "What it does show is that Caley Thistle have a tradition of getting their selection process right and the club has continued to progress. It is our aspiration to maintain this sequence." Mr Cameron added: "In the past couple of days we have been inundated with indications of interest from potential candidates or their representatives and we are positive this interest will now escalate. "The supporters can be assured that the board will work its way through the options for a manager, arrive at a short list and proceed to interview. There will be no knee-jerk reaction and we are confident of appointing a manager of the calibre we require." I fully expect TB's new 3 year deal with ICT to be announced first thing tomorrow morning. By the ever accurate BBC.
-
For those who don't believe the media are leading them by the nose, try this wee experiment.... Watch the STV footage of Terry at training with the thought he is leaving in your head. You perceive that the claps from players are a "wish you well" gesture. Watch the same footage with the thought he is staying in your head. You perceive the the claps are because Terry has just told them he is staying and they are happy at the news. It's well document scientific fact that our perception of the things we see are heavily influenced by what we hear and either of the above scenarios is possible...along with a few others. Heck, he might have jut told them a joke or done one of those "thinking outside the box" teasers he often does and the claps were for that!
-
Do people honestly think that if TB was going to say his goodbyes to the players that he would do it so publicly...especially when he was at the stadium with them shortly beforehand? The STV news showing Terry leaving the stadium saying he was going to work was shot BEFORE the footage at training...I would say order of events deliberately altered to cause confusion and keep people tuning in to the news. Why do people continue to pedal press reports as being "fact" when they are, time and again, proven to be nothing but inaccurate speculation? As far as I am concerned, Terry Butcher is the manager of ICTFC until such time as we are officially informed otherwise....and I don't believe that is set to change any time soon.

If Terry is not in the ICT dugout tomorrow that will only mean one thing. He slept in and missed the bus?

Finding a dodgy online stream for games just got a whole lot easier!

Not quite accurate. ICT were only approached for permission to speak to him on Tuesday afternoon. He would have only got full details of what was on offer yesterday. Not unreasonable for him to take a day or two to decide his future. During the whole Barnsley fiasco, you were very vocal throughout the whole thing that Butcher would stay. You said this, even during times when it looked more likely he was off, and were often a lone voice citing your belief, which to be fair, you stuck to it throughout and in the end were proven right. During this saga, you've hardly said a word. Why? I have just as much faith in Terry staying this time as I had with the Barnsley approach. A combination of things have meant I've perhaps not been as vocal about it (certainly on CTO) as last time. 1. The timing...pressure of work means I don't have so much time for contributing on CTO at the moment and I find it more practical to partake in discussion on Twitter. 2. I find the attitude of some users and the manner in which they post on here increasingly tiresome and aggravating. Other methods of online chat allow me to be more selective in who I engage with on a regular basis. 3. Due to the work I do with the club, I feel closer to the situation this time than I was last time. Whilst I know no more than what is in the public domain, others may perceive that not to be the case and I do not wish to be seen to mislead when my opinions are just that.
