Dear Mr Cameron,
I guess the next question is...have all those who said they weren't going to buy Season Tickets now done so?
-
Dear Mr Cameron,
Fixed that for you

Dear Mr Cameron,
As I understand it the vote was "private". I hope (but doubt) that remains the case. What's important is that a decision has been made and we can now move forward. I also hope that the decision has been made without any condition of "threats" on the SFL who should be free to do as they now see fit in regards to any application they might receive.

SPL Neil Doncaster Warning
Rangers are out of the SPL

3rd or 1st
To be honest, I wouldn't expect them to have a rule to fit what is being asked of them. Like just about any business or organisation I have ever been involved with, different levels of vote are required for differing types of proposals and the SFL will be no different. I imagine that is where the confusion lies with regards to the required number of votes needed.

Journeymen, Mercenaries and Prostitutes
Whether you agree or disagree, I think it's a bit out of order to be slating these guys and personally insulting them before they've even had a chance to kick a ball in an ICT shirt. I really hope they aren't reading this site and tarring all our fans with the same brush because a few don't posses the common decency of keeping a civil tongue and not prejudging them.

Dear Mr Cameron,
As I said already, I think people are getting their knickers in a twist over nothing (at the moment). It's blindingly obvious that these stories/documents being leaked do not have widespread approval from the member clubs of either the SPL or the SFL and are being pedalled by the few who are looking to try and cash in on the Rangers/NewCo mess. What's also been clear in all of this is that Doncaster couldn't be any further out of tune with the whole situation if he tried and even before the Rangers/NewCo thing was living on planet lala with all his talk of 10 team top leagues and how the fans thought it was a great idea etc. I personally attach zero credibility to anything that comes from him. Does anyone actually remember anything this man has said which the member clubs and/or fans have agreed with at any point during his tenure? How he's still in the job is anyones guess!!! Take a step back and actually look at all these press comments on things....you'll find it's the same one or two names attached to them all. Either that or it's all "A source close to" or "A source inside" or "We believe that" I think the SPL Clubs now clearly understand that the fans will not accept NewCo in the SPL, nor will they accept any manoeuvring on the part of the clubs to create an environment which sees NewCo gain an easy path to the SPL. For the most part I think the SFL Clubs will understand that very same message. Aside from anything else, if it were all some elaborate plan to get fans to buy Season Tickets, then why would every club not come out and tell us they plan to vote "No"?

Fund-Raising Ideas
Will make details available soon on how people can contribute via the Supporters Trust.

Dear Mr Cameron,
I think we just need to keep in mind that this is nothing more than paper talk on a document which nobody knows the source of. For all we know it might just be another of Doncasters "Pie in the Sky" ideas that won't get the time of day if/when presented to the clubs. The most important factor, in my mind, is that as of this moment NewCo do not have a club fit to take part in any league!!! How can you talk about which league they should go in to or not in to if they do not exist!!!!

Rangers go into administration
All very intriguing.....ever get the feeling that Green was just trying to create such confusion that when tomorrow comes he can just go "Well, I tried, but you all fought me every step of the way and now it's time for me to sell up and go". That way he can sell out for whatever he chooses, pocket a wee profit and never be heard from again.

League Re-Organisation
I hadn't really put too much thought into how we get to where we need to be....but I see the transformation going something like..... Year 1 - 42 Teams - Restructure to 3 leagues of 14 Year 2 - 40 Teams - Restructure to 12 - 14 - 14 Year 3 - 38 Teams - Restructure to 10 - 14 - 14 Year 4 - 36 Teams - Restructure to Two Leagues of 18 I think the above gives teams time to restructure/adapt without too much of a shock to the system. Two leagues of 18 also gives the real opportunity to keep things fresh....17 league away days to different locations. Opportunity to factor in 2up/2down with additional play-offs for the next 2 from each league....so up to 4 "new" teams coming up in a season. Similar setup at the bottom end for the lower league with top team from each region going in to a play off with bottom 3 or 4 teams. By creating "real" opportunity for getting in to the upper leagues then you also encourage investment in regional leagues/teams. What I also think is important is that you can go to TV and Corporate Sponsors with a real plan for the future of Scottish Football and ask them to invest in something positive instead of the shambolic mess and uncertainty that currently exists.
-
Where now for the SPL?
I believe the figure of 1000 is intended to include compensating for the (potential) loss of revenue from TV and Corporate Sponsors....in which case I would suggest that it is well short of the mark and the required figure would/should be viewed as in the region of 2000 to 2500 (per game).

Dundee or Dunfermline?
Surely Dunfermline giving us Brewster should count in favour of Dundee!!!!

ICT new home shirt 2012-14
So the registration of strip....another deadline that NewCo wouldn't be able to meet!!!
-
ICT new home shirt 2012-14
I don't really get caught up in the whole "must be stripes"....or any of that. So long as it looks good. I'd have no problem if we went with stripes all the time (or any other set layout/style), but think there's something to be said for having a bit of variety. P.S. I have no idea what the new strip is like...could be red and black stripes for all I know, and I'd have no problem with that, even as someone who was previously of the Caley Persuasion. I'm of the ICT persuasion now and it's the badge on the shirt that matters.

Fund-Raising Ideas
I posted this on the other thread yesterday....... Just to add that the Supporters Trust Board will be meeting (again) before the end of the week and we'll keep you up to date on that. The one thing people can do right now is buy season tickets....and also encourage others to buy season tickets.

Kenny Shiels bumping his gums..
Think we should write to him again and point out that we don't have any debt either
-
ICT new home shirt 2012-14
There's no Red at all in the Home Top. Brave move, IMO, but maybe they'll counter that with a predominantly red/black away top next season???
-
Kenny Shiels bumping his gums..
Simple answer....."The Split", which means we won't be making identical journeys.
-
Dear Mr Cameron,
RiG, from looking at that there seems to be a definite declining trend in the number of fans the OF contribute to the numbers....any chance of you throwing up a graph charting the difference between the two numbers?

OTJ Deal Done
Re-sign Bobby Mann and we can sort that problem.

Dundee or Dunfermline?
Yup, but the rules were changed since then to prevent the "No Relegation" scenario....again, just playing Devils Advocate.
