We did have at one point, but they went off on their own (might actually have become Inverness City Ladies team).....not entirely sure why.
  2. The vast majority of "glory hunters" don't even attend games, many will never have set foot inside the stadium of the team they "follow" and watch it all on TV.....so you could move them to the other side of the planet and it wouldn't matter a jot.

Just a quick note in regards to where the ICT Supporters Trust sits at the moment.... As many of you will be aware, there was a fairly recent change of board with the Supporters Trust which came about as the result of a call from members who had concerns over the state the organisation had found itself in. When the new board took over, we communicated that the first order of business would be to sort out our own internal affairs and operations; with a view to presenting a society that was fit for purpose at the next AGM (set for December this year). We should (without doubt) be taking a lead on many of the issues being raised in this thread, but the harsh reality is that the Supporters Trust inherited by the current board was in no position to be calling into question the clubs governance, communication etc. whilst it's own was a total shambles. We have made solid inroads into getting our own house in order and we have also had an initial introductory meeting with the Club CEO, Yvonne Crook. The Supporters Trust has a board meeting of their own on Thursday and we intend to issue a more comprehensive update on where we are at with various items by the start of next week. None of the above should preclude individuals from raising concerns direct with the club. In the absence of a direct address, an email to [email protected] with a request to forward it to the CEO is probably the best way for doing that.

  5. ICT Supporters Trust urge ALL fans to take the time to complete the Scottish Football Supporters Survey which was launched by Supporters Direct Scotland today. It has been agreed that the questions in this survey will be set for 3 years to allow proper analysis to be done on what progress is, or isn't, being made in the areas being covered. http://www.scottishsupporters.net/survey/ Survey closes 16th September.
  6. Reverting to the previous name has no impact whatsoever on the voting right and/or the fact that, as per the football club articles, it is held by the ICT Supporters Society Ltd.
  7. What’s in a name? In our case….it’s not what’s in a name, it’s having too many of them!! ICT Supporters Society Ltd - This is the organisations legally registered name…and we are Limited Liability company (LTD) with Community Benefits Society status (think co-operative). As such we file our documents with the FCA and not Companies House, you can get further info at https://mutuals.fsa.gov.uk/SocietyDetails.aspx?Number=2665&Suffix=RS ICT Supporters Trust - This was the originally adopted trading name of the society and it has it’s routes in the Supporters Trust movement which has grown over the last 10 to 15 years. I’ll come back to this in a moment. Caley Jags Together - The additional trading name that was adopted most recently when it was decided to bring together the functions of the Supporters Club and the Supporters Trust. It’s become painfully apparent to us that we need to remove the confusion, so going forward we have decided that we will no longer make use of the “Caley Jags Together” name and will revert to sole use of “ICT Supporters Trust”. When the two supporters groups merged, the Supporters Club’s main function was operating the supporters buses. Now that this function has been moved on to the ICT Supporters Travel Club, which has no direct affiliation with the ICT Supporters Trust, then we are comfortable that we are not betraying or going back on any previous agreements to use the Caley Jags Together name. We have already begun changing our name on social media platforms and are in the process of getting the new website ready to launch, along with the new member joining/renewing/management system which will be a large part of that. This is a sizeable step in our bringing the organisation back to where it needs to be in order to best serve the it's members and the wider ICTFC Community.
  8. Can't sell what we don't own.

Robbo's post match press comments indicated that Coll had been practicing penalties in training and was one of the nominated takers.

...and Foran, Munro, Golabeck, Duncan, Sanchez, Odhiambo, Eagle, Cox....and how could you fail to mention LDZ!!!

When I was (actively) working in financial services we had to include the statutory line "Past Performance Is Not Indicative Of Future Results" in all investment reports/recommendations...and it very much applies when talking about football as well. Maybe clubs should start printing it on tickets! Even if we accept that there is some merit in looking back (for the purposes of analysis) then echoing last seasons league performance isn't going to return the desired improvement in end result this season.
  12. Worrying that Robbo's post match comments talk about filling the team with Youth players....when it's blatantly obvious that what's needed are a few more players with a bit of experience and composure. Leaving aside the fact that most of the players he's moved on since getting here have been those with experience and composure, we do have players like Calder and Doran who should be on from the start and who would be more likely to provide what's needed. Just for clarity, I have nothing against playing youngsters, they just don't offer a solution to the problem that has been identified.

I'm still available for taking them ?
  14. Where's the money coming from for all this?
  15. I give credit where it is due....which is why I praised the efforts of the club's Youth Dept. If only the rest were half as effective, we'd be laughing ?

Probably does it because it seems to be working? If it's not broken....and all that!

That's the half time entertainment for the next home game sorted.

Coll looked like the only one willing to step forward.
  19. When is this future you speak of? We've had a succesful Youth setup for as long as I can remember and not too many are making it through to our first team. That's no slight on the youth setup, or even ICTFC, it's indicative of a national system that ploughs money into vanity projects with catchy names instead of doing what's needed to bridge the gap and bring young players through properly. If you think that's going to change any time soon, you're delusional. Robbo has been making lots of noise about using Youth, yet when he has a chance in tournaments such as the North of Scotland Cup, he fills the team with more senior players. Instead he throws a load of youngsters into a senior cup match and then tears them apart publicly when they don't win. I don't see that changing any time soon either!!
  20. My first proper game of the season. Really missing the experienced, calm heads. We should have been coasting, especially with the extra man, but instead we were the ones in panic mode for the last 15 minutes...very bizarre!
  21. Sorted....employ him as a graphic designer and let him play a bit of football in his down time.

  23. I'm wondering if that press release is just very poorly written. It doesn't actually say he has signed a pro contract, it says "to have the chance to sign". If he is 16 and going in to the youths for now, with a view to that leading to fulfilling some kind of criteria to allow him to sign a pro contract "by the age of 17 yrs old"....then that would make far more sense.
  24. My money would be on County fans on Twitter ?
