CHAMPIONS T-SHIRT
North East corner is where North Stand meets Main Stand. Shop will be busy enough with people collecting tickets, getting merchandise etc etc etc so rather than add to the congestion we'll be down at the corner....that area is also the location most fans pass on the way in to the stadium.

Pitch Invasion Repercussions
Seems this thread has just about run its course and is now descending into the realms of personal argument instead of discussion of the topic in hand......if it continues along that track then it will be closed.

PLAYER SPONSORSHIP
A big thanks, once again, to Guzz for taking care of this. It can be a bit frustrating pulling something like this together and organising collection of the money, not to mention the extra effort she went to this year to have 4 prizes being pulled out of the hat. Prizes were Grant Munros shirt (signed), 2 x away shirts (signed by squad) and a special crystal/glass football boot momento dooda thingymewhatsit. And, of course, you can count me in again for next season.

FEB 8th 2000 DVD - Has Arrived
DVD will be on sale at the Tenpin bowling night tomorrow night and also on Saturday outside the ground...around the same area as we'll be selling the T-Shirts (North East Corner).

CHAMPIONS T-SHIRT
T-Shirts arrived late this afternoon so we will have them available tomorrow night at the Tenpin Bowling. I also hope to visit the Caley Club and Innes Bar between Noon and 1:30pm on Saturday to sell T-Shirts to take a bit of pressure off those selling them at the Stadium before the game. T-Shirts will be sold from a point somewhere around the North East Corner and not from the Club Shop itself as those guys will be busy enough!!!

Pitch Invasion Repercussions
Have you actually read the thread? Nobody is trying to justify exposing ICT to fines and most are happy enough to accept the advice/warnings that have been given. People have questioned why the club would be fined and some have disagreed with the rules, but nobody is saying "stuff it, let's do it anyway", in fact, I've not seen any suggestions that people intend/ed to enter on to the pitch during the game....which is what you might think has been said reading your post. Furthermore, calling people eejits, ignorant, arrogant, lacking in intelligence, stupid etc serves no useful purpose and will only antagonise a situation which doesn't need any stirring up.

Highland March 8
150+ miles done so they are on target and still going strong. No further injuries to report.

Pitch Invasion Repercussions
The club have asked that we include this statement from them on the site and this is probably the best place for it.... "We request that our fans do not attempt to enter the playing area during Saturdays match. If this happens it will almost certainly result in action being taken against the Club, and we assume that nobody would want this to happen. We do not wish to curtail Saturdays fun for any of our fans so we ask that you all adhere to this request and there will be plenty of time and opportunity to party post match. Prior to the presentation of the trophy, and for Health & Safety reasons, we will require the pitch area to be clear to allow the players, management team and presentation party coming out on to the playing area to carry out the formal part of the celebrations. There will be numerous tannoy announcements on Saturday to explain what will be happening throughout the afternoon and we ask that these announcements are listened to and followed so we can all have a very enjoyable day and allow everybody to savour the moment of our historic return to SPL football."

Pitch Invasion Repercussions
I actually said to someone near me how stupid it was to leave those cameras sitting behind the goal after the first mini invasion....which they survived unscathed. Really has nobody to blame but himself for not moving them when it was inevitable that the fans were going to come back on the pitch at the end. Also didn't see any complaints when the photographers were on the pitch with the fans to get their snaps. It's what's known as an "Occupational Hazard".

Pitch Invasion Repercussions
Sorry caleyrule, but you're talking through a hole in your hat.....there is absolutely no precedent which would suggest a fine anywhere near that level.
-
Party in the Park
I think you're doing the organisers a bit of s disservice by prejudging the band when you don't even know who they are yet...but it's your choice whether or not you want to make the effort to get there early to support the efforts of the club who are going out of their way to make it a great day by way of thanks to all those who stuck with the club after last years relegation.

Pitch Invasion Repercussions
We seem to be falling into semantics. Most people agree that what happened at Ayr happened and que sera. Some differing views on what sanctions should be taken, if any, and the rights and wrongs of that, but most appreciate that it wouldn't be sensible to repeat the exercise this Saturday as they risk both themselves and the club getting into bother....and that's the crux of the discussion. We can all enjoy the game and the atmosphere just as much from the stands during the match....bring on Dundee!!!

Pitch Invasion Repercussions
Clubs are generally held responsible for the actions of their fans. Whether we agree with it or not, it's probably the easiest way to try and ensure order. If the home team were fully responsible then you'd have away fans doing things to get them fined right left and centre at every game.....but the thought/realisation that their actions fall back on their own club is more likely to make them think twice.

Flybe End Sponsorship Deal
Our stock will have risen a fair bit having secured promotion, hopefully it will help attract a few more sheckles for the shirt sponsorship. Red Bull like to sponsor extreme sports, but we could do worse than give these guys a shout.....

Party in the Park
Some things are just best ignored....rising to it simply adds fuel for the flamers.

Pitch Invasion Repercussions
I have a feeling that we'll get no more than a slap on the wrists for Ayr, however, I fear that if it's repeated on Saturday then we could very well find ourselves with a fine and police/stewards may be forced to cart people off to show that they are not condoning/sanctioning such behaviour.....and we all know how the police/courts like to make an example when dealing with football related incidents. Again, I urge people not to do anything that will spoil the day for themselves or anyone else....save it for full time. From the lips of Terry Butcher at Ayr last week..... "Let's show Scottish Football that we can behave in the right way and let's show the world we can celebrate the right way"

Annual Tenpin Bowling Night
The primary reason for the night is to give the kids a chance to meet/bowl with players, but adults have always been welcome to participate. It's looking to be a very busy night, so if we end up with more lanes being used than players available to play then priority will be given to ensuring the kids get lanes with players at them.

Signing News!
Mo was full of praise for Roy last night, commenting on how dedicated and professional he has remained even though he wasn't in the frame for a game until the other week. The fact he was taken out of the "deep freeze" and slotted straight in and gave a performance which provided no hint of his lack of match practice certainly seems to have impressed the management.
-
Signing News!
Mo hinted tonight that they hope to get a few more signed up in the next few days. Also, speaking to the players none of them gave any hint that they want to play anywhere else other than Inverness next year.

FEB 8th 2000 DVD - Has Arrived
I'm starting to feel a little bit jealous. Despite being a member of the Trust Board I haven't been so hands on in the production of the actual DVD. It was one of the those things where I was quite happy to wait until it was all done so I could enjoy the final product....now you all have your copy and I've not managed to get my hands on mine yet. I believe there's an Easter Egg on there somewhere as well, so happy hunting...and please don't spoil the fun for everyone else if you find it, well not for a couple of weeks anyway until they're all pulling their hair out in frustration at not knowing where to look (I don't actually know where to look either...yet).

home shirt for 10/11
At the end of the day it will have the SPL badge on the sleeve and that's all I'm bothered about
-
home shirt for 10/11
Almost the reverse of that with the squares on the main front/back panels and solid coloured side panels and sleeves.....squares are also turned so the run diagonally (looking more like diamonds than squares).

Party in the Park
Why would they only have 15 minutes to set up?

FEB 8th 2000 DVD - Has Arrived
There's no match commentary as such, just Barry and Charlie......they get more chatty as the match progresses.
