Retirement Announcement
After about the 10th round of "Sit down for the Caley Jags/Champions" I was starting to regret suggesting it, but it was quality banter and looking around to see just about everyone partaking was absolutely magic....to the young lad I near sat on at one point.....hope the image of my fat erse heading in your direction does live with you for too long!!! Another that sticks in the head and should become part of the regular repertoire is (to the tune of bridge and a castle) is "Oh F***ing Sheep, is wonderful"...but we need to do some work on the middle line "Ayr, Ayr, Super Ayr...." :thumb04: Not sure if many other supports would sing songs for the opposition but I've twice been to away days where we've done it (that I remember), yesterday and a couple of seasons back when we were chanting SEBO at Ibrox...totally baffling the Rangers fans in the process. "That's why we're champions"...tremendous after the third goal, but after the 4th, 5th, 6th & 7th I felt it just didn't quite do us justice - quality all the same. IHE mentioned it already, but the fact we have some great songs/chants developing "on the terraces" as it were is superb...it's these naturally developing songs/chants that will stand the test of time.

Can I just say...
Was that the guy who ended up having to get some medical attention? Met him in the Ship Inn before the game and had a feeling he was either going to end up in hospital or the cells I'm astonished that he found the turnstiles, far less got through them and was allowed in to the game.

Season Tickets
I don't know what prices will be, or when they will be announced, but I do know this is one of the top items on the agenda at the club and is currently being looked at and worked on.

Pitch invasion(s)
I'm with Scotty on this one, and whilst I chose not to join in the first twice I was on the pitch at the final whistle. It probably shouldn't have happened but it was always going to and it did....so it's a "hey ho" as opposed to "bah humbug" from me. It didn't really cause any delay, the fans were on, celebrated and off and it took no longer than player celebration and return to the centre for the re-start. Ref didn't look particularly surprised or perturbed and stewards handled it appropriately without creating any undue problems or carting anyone off....which might have happened in many other places we've visited this season. All I would add is that I hope the fans don't get carried away when we start pumping the goals past Dundee next week. Let's keep the partying to the stands until the final whistle and give nobody any excuse to rain on the parade.

There's more chance of Dundee getting out of the 1st Division without an expanded SPL!!!

Supporters Trust Bus to Ayr
Couple of spaces on it...so if anyone wakes up in the night in a cold guilty sweat, because they aren't going when they think the could/should be, then we're leaving 8am from the Stadium.

How do you know they are in a transit Don? Because if they'd used a real van they'd be here by now

Hayes to sign up
Sign here or I'll batter you senseless??? Seriously though, can't remember if I've posted it anywhere on here, but I've said to a few people over the last 3 or 4 weeks that I was confident Butcher would manage to retain all the players he wanted to keep.

CHAMPIONS T-SHIRT
There's no plans to make them available for online/postal orders, however if they aren't all sold then we'll look to give people that option. Appreciate that may cause a few grumbles, but as the Supporters Trust are handling this on behalf of the club in order to take some of the work away from them in the busy run up to the end of the season, we don't have the time/resources to handle online/postal orders.....especially as we have 500 DVD's due to land on our lap any minute now as well. I also don't envisage us selling 1000 at the bowling night, so they will be available on the day...they will be sold from a point separate to the shop, probably around the North East corner where the burger van is normally located.

ICT Training Ground Celebration pics!
The team train at different locations depending on the conditions. Fort George can sometimes be a little hard under foot if we've had a long dry spell (I know, I know) so they may move to Culloden or Canal Pitches....however, they can be too soft if we've had a lot of rain, making Fort George the preferred location.

FEB 8th 2000 - DVD
DVD's are in transit and due to arrive today....we have someone chasing down the carrier to find out exactly where they are at (cue visions of ed waiter chasing a van down the road). Hopefully I'm not tempting fate...and I should really wait till we have them in our possession...but all being well they should start dropping through your letterboxes from the middle of next week.

CHAMPIONS T-SHIRT
Depends how quickly the printers can get the order here....if we get them early enough Friday (or before) to allow us time to sort the order, then we hope to make them available to buy at the 10 Pin Bowling night. We also hope to do the rounds at Caley Club, Innes etc Saturday afternoon between 12pm & 2pm and then on sale at Stadium from 2pm onwards. It's going to be a very busy day, so getting some of it done in advance relives the pressure a bit....fingers crossed :tonguecheek:

CHAMPIONS T-SHIRT
We have ordered medium and large kids sizes. On the adults we decided to go for a full range of sizes from small to XXL....the idea being that the small would be suitable for big kids or kids who want to throw the t-shirt on over the top of their other clothes. The temptation was to go for a "once size fits all", but both the Club and Supporters Trust wanted to provide a t-shirt that was more than a "wear once then leave in the drawer and forget" item, so we opted for a better quality/weight t-shirt and a choice of sizes. Of course that creates the headache of what split of sizes we went for, but we took advice from the printers on what was the most popular sizes and made the decision based on that. Undoubtedly we'll have a few people who don't get the size they want, but if all t-shirts sell and enough people are still looking for them then we'll investigate the possibility of a further order.

CHAMPIONS T-SHIRT
Yeah, past experience of selling such items for testimonials etc suggests that 1000 should meet the demand. Add to that the fact that we've only just been able to order them and the time it takes to get them printed and delivered etc. and I think we've done well to be able to secure the deal we have for delivery in the the timescales required. Finally, the price is being kept so low that the majority of the t-shirts have to be sold to break even....we can't afford to have boxes of them left over. After weighing up all the above, 1000 was the figure we came out with.

I've updated the original post with the price now that it has been agreed.

Caledonian Stadium
I wouldn't expect to see anything major, especially in the current economic climate. I know there's been various rumours/talk about plans to add office pods and the like in to the corners etc over the years, but with so many empty units all over the city right now, then the chances of filling them would be slim. There's also the talk/rumours about us moving if we ever got the right offer from a developer/big company, and with the City Development Plan starting to kick in over the next few years then it may not be worth any further investment at this stage.

CHAMPIONS T-SHIRT
If only we had a bit more time then we could have looked at getting prints done on both sides or a more intricate design. As it is the printers have already been extremely generous in allowing until this morning to give them the green light to go with the production and in order to be able to leave it so late we had to keep things as straight forward as possible. Nothing to stop people from getting personalising their own when they get them though.
