  1. Still some spaces but it's filling up nicely.
  2. Don't be putting words in my mouth....I voted for wilsononourwing.
  3. Maybe he needed some closure, or like many others is just accepting that they called it wrong early doors!!! I actually remember this thread and typing the following response and then choosing not to post it. Ponder This.....
  4. She's giving me the 'orn!!!
  5. I continue to wear ridiculous shirts/t-shirts at home games...although I will sometimes throw my ICT Rugby shirt on on top. I never wear my ICT football shirt as I've never seen us win whilst wearing it. I never wash my scarf mid season. I never shave on the morning of a game.
  6. If you're not prepared to accept that taking an extremely polarised view on something always leaves you open to the chance that it'll come back and bite you on the erse then don't do it....or at least have the good sense not to leave your comments on an open forum. Had things gone the other way then wilsononourwing may have been the one getting a bit of ribbing for the stance he had taken all season. That's life....you win some, you lose some.
  7. Wilsononourwing for his unshakable belief.
  8. It's clearing from the scoring record that they haven't had as many overnight stays this season!!!
  9. It could have been worse, I could have tried to catch you all out by doing
  10. Honest Guv :024:

thanks :) They wouldn't give any hassle to a 17yr old girl would they :024: No...which is why you'll be safe with Bronsno around.

  13. Can I thank Johnboy in advance for taking the Glenfarclas to the last game of the season and passing it round the North Stand. :) You got more chance of a volcano erupting in Iceland and bringing the whole of Europe to a standsti.....oh wait a minute!!!
  14. From his profile..... Wonder what happened since then to have kept him away? :)

You can join my campaign to sue the beggers that came up with the "one size fits all" t-shirts...they so obviously don't :)
  16. CaleyD replied to Fanoffooty's topic in Caley Thistle
I was raging yesterday when that t-shirt was revealed because secs later Dundee scored and went on to get the second to stop it being a mathematical certainty that the league was ours!!!
  17. CaleyD replied to Fanoffooty's topic in Caley Thistle
I don't have that much detail at this moment in time, I just know the matter has been discussed with/at the club and there's a plan to produce a t-shirt which will be made available for the Dundee game.

    It's in hand.

Standing outside the stadium yesterday yapping to people before the game and just about everyone who bought a programme and checked the team lines was pleased to see Roy in the starting line-up for yesterdays match....including me. He did himself and the team proud with his performance and some of his tackling and winning of the ball in the middle of the park was second to none. Dilemma for Butcher now is whether Cox goes straight back in or if Roy gets to keep his place....with Golly out, could we see Roy shifted to left back perhaps?

Butcher has a dodgy knee so I'd opt for Mascot in his place....other than that I agree with your selection.
  21. Got ya..... :P
  22. Butcher should have his contract torn up. And replaced with a minimum 5 year deal. What he has achieved this season is pretty damn remarkable. ICT built it's reputation on having a team that was greater than the sum of its parts...of punching above it's weight...and I thought that was something that was gone and would take us a long time to rebuild. Anyone can take a squad onto the training park and go through the drills, but it takes a real leader to give a team the heart, passion and self belief to take to the field on match day and deliver to their full potential week after week. It also takes a great manager to set aside other issues and just get on with the job. How many times do we hear managers of other teams complaining that they didn't get this player or that player and it's hindered their ability to put the right team on the field? Butcher might have been forgiven for taking that mindset given the lack on investment in the squad, but he didn't, he settled for his lot and got on with the job, developing the team and the system to suit and never once looking for excuses when, at the start of the season, things weren't going too well. It takes balls to stick to your guns when you know you are right and you have people shouting at you telling you otherwise, just as it takes balls to fess up when you make a mistake and need to make changes....Butcher seems to have them in abundance, on both fronts. Taking nothing away from the lads who were out there delivering on the park though, especially those who have been asked to play in positions and undertake roles that were not the norm to them. They placed as much trust in Butcher has he has in them and everyone will reap the rewards. Congratulations just doesn't seem quite enough for me, but I'm at a loss for a more suitable word right now so it will have to do. ICT can now add "Bouncebackability" to it's CV thanks to the fact that everyone has dug deep and recaptured their "Never say Die" attitude...it's what got us to the SPL the first time round and it's what's got us there again. That is the lesson to be learned and forever remembered....by everyone.
  23. I'll make sure your sorted before you head back to Oz.
  24. What tosh. Everyone who is a member of the supporters club is welcome. If I called Caley D a profanity, would I still expect to be welcome on a bus he had arranged? As for cliques, you're part of the biggest one linked to the club. If I refused travel to everyone that had every called me a name or disagreed with me on something I'd be running empty buses
  25. Is the cream working?
