I have received the following information from Mike Smith in relation to this subject.....
  2. His logic seems to be....St Mirren have been mince all season and ICT have been erratic, so that makes St Mirren the better prospect. Pure Class
  3. CaleyD replied to Joonya's topic in Caley Thistle
I wonder if people will be so sympathetic if he were to score the winner for St Mirren?
  4. CaleyD replied to Joonya's topic in Caley Thistle
    I fixed it for you
  5. Apart from the fact we'd have to put a roof on it as well I would fully concur with that suggestion.
  6. CaleyD replied to Joonya's topic in Caley Thistle
I haven't thought about it and will probably do whatever I feel like doing when the time comes. Probably clap him on to the pitch if he comes on as a sub and then give him some stick whenever he touches the ball. Nothing personal, but he'll be out there representing St Mirren after all.
  7. ICT (or any club) are not allowed to charge away fans more than they charge home fans for "comparable accommodation", which means that we could not charge visiting fans more to sit in the South Stand than we charge for the North Stand. Aberdeen faced this problem and ended up having to increase all tickets by ?1 (I think) and then giving all home fans a voucher for ?1 off their next match ticket purchase.
  8. If prices remain the same as last year adults will be ?27 Main Stand, ?22 North Stand and ?17 Family Section. However, the last I heard from the club was that ticket prices for OF home matches were still to be confirmed as the club had not made a decision on what they would be doing in regards to the 5% Levy being imposed by Rangers and Celtic.
  9. Darren isn't the first from the club to post on the forums. Angela frequently responds to queries and is fairly pro-active in providing information (where possible) on events and things like the special offer for Season Ticket holders in hospitality this month. Andrina in the shop will also answer any questions people raise in regards to that side of things. As is the case, these people can only provide information when they have it, it might not be much, but it is appreciated by those who use the site. People like Angela and Andrina (Darren may prove to fit into this category also in time) are highly thought of among the fans, their willingness to assist and actually do something if they say they will do it brings a much needed glint of positivity to the club and we could do with a few more like them down at the Stadium. It can't be easy when they have little to work with and are often the ones taking the brunt of things from the fans, but it's always service with a smile....and little things like that go a long way.
  10. I think it's terrible that a club that portrays themselves as being family orientated is encouraging gambling right under the noses of the children. Off to ask my nephew to pick a result, he always does better than me :thumb04:
  11. Two decisions to be made. 1. Is Munro a stronger option than McGuire and Duff?....for me, that's a yes. 2. From McGuire and Duff, which player has been performing best?....for me, that seems to be Duff. Granted we don't know how players have been getting on in training or if Munro is back 100%, but on the face of it I would be selecting Munro and Duff to start.
  12. "Caley Jags" written in a familiar looking Sans Serif Script font now also available as a design in the shop. Remember if the product isn't available on an item you may wish it on then ask and I will do what I can to accommodate. The full list of products available can be found HERE. "Design" shop coming soon. This will allow you to take any of the designs you see on there (and a whole lot more) and use them to put together your own item in the way you want. You'll also be able to personalise items by adding your own name etc.
  13. If you click on the blue version from the front page of the shop there's a drop down box which will allow you to change the colour of the t-shirt. It doesn't change the colour of the image shown as the example, but if you click on the link for the colour table you can see exactly what each colour translates too. I have also just added a further design "Caley Inside" (other derivatives coming to address the "Caley bisas, so keep your wigs on ex-jaggies ) - Choice of 4 logo colours and these can be seen on the Front Page

    You Mean These?
  15. Quick bump of this thread to remind people of the Race Night on Friday Evening.
  16. If this is going to turn into a discussion about "rumours" relating to Black staying or going or whatever then can it be taken to the "Rumour Mill" in order to keep this thread on-topic. Grassyass
  17. Fed up with going to the bar to get the round and forgetting what everyone's asked for? Or you have it written down but someone spilled a drink on the list? The Answer Is Here Other designs for "Writeable" T-Shirts available on request.

The original cost of the stands was in the region of ?1 Million. ?400k was borrowed by Inverness Caledonian Thistle Trust, this was matched by ?400k from Tulloch and ?200k from the club. Their was a cost overrun on the stands of ?505k and this was met from a further ?200k loan from the council to Inverness Caledonian Thistle Properties (2004) Ltd (along with transfer of the original ?400k loan from the Trust to that company), ?200k from Tullochs and a further ?105,000 from the club. In effect the club met 20% of the cost, but now seem to have nothing to show for it by way of share capital in the company that owns the new stands. I believe Slackbuie is a subsidiary of Inverness Holdings, which is David Sutherland's company.

I may be wrong, but I thought the club had to list specific details in their accounts of all companies where they have a holding of more than 20% (As they have done with Caledonian Thistle Properties). If the club own 50% of the Share Capital of the Trust, then why is it not listed as such?
  20. I'm glad the satirical nature of my comment wasn't lost on you
  21. Apparently Darren is about the same age as Les, so I'll have to retract that comment. Still I'm sure a bunch of old b*ggers can still do the job :thumb04:
  22. "You put your right hand in, your right hand out...."
  23. Seems to be a good balance of people in there. Les Kidger and the Wilson Testimonial Committee (great name for a band) did a great job with Barry's whole testimonial year, Kenny Cameraon, as Scotty said, is someone who I trust to at least listen to the fans. Despite the criticism Mike Smith gets from time to time (from me also), there's no doubting his ability as an accountant...so you can be sure the books will balance....and to be honest I'm not really that familiar with Darren, but I believe he was instrumental in things like the Casino nights etc at the stadium.....I believe he's also a bit younger than the rest so should hopefully balance out opinion on what appeals to a wider matrix of people. My first suggestion would be that they get together with the Supporters Club and Supporters Trust in order to co-ordinate events, and where feasible come to some arrangement on running certain events as joint initiatives. There's really no need for 3 End of Season parties and the like which we have witnessed the last couple of years....get together, share the costs and everyone benefit from the increased profit margins.

That's certainly how it seems, which is why I've asked the question. Maybe David Stewart should be my next port of call as the latest "Register of Interest" for the Scottish Parliament lists him as a Director of the, now dormant, Inverness Caledonian Thistle Trust.
