  1. Looks like the overall forum default theme got knocked off which is why it wasn't working before you logged in and only impacting on some people who were logged in. Fingers crossed that's it fixed.
  2. Strike that last observation - it only appears to be happening when not logged in.
  3. A new one on me also and only seems to be happening in Internet Explorer :017: On the case.
  4. DJS - the link to that image isn't valid (hence it not showing up)
  5. Just finished uploading some pictures to the gallery (courtesy of Gordon Gillespie - NorthSport) :link: [attach=1]
  6. DBS, I couldn't agree with you less. As for your comparison to Les Fridge...that did give me a wee laugh (at you, not with you). And are you referring to Ally Ridgers the great shot stopper who allowed Arbroath to ship 4 past him in his first appearance for Elgin the other week? :015: Fraser has made a couple of mistakes, but he's also saved us on more occasions than I can remember. Your not the only one looking for a scapegoat to justify our poor start to the season, but it's a team game and there's only so much one person can do. Mike Fraser is saving a fair number of the opponents shots on target and the back four have to work a little harder to whittle that number down before we can start laying blame at his feet.
  7. Scotty, that's what I said below - I don't mind it being tightened up a little, but to remove the opportunity altogether is simply wrong in my book. Also, if you look at the days when we had more teams competing in Europe, it was teams at all levels and not just the premier league elite. That is the issue the SFA should be dealing with. They are charged with looking after the game in this country, and how we are perceived in Europe should be secondary to that instead of the driving factor in trying to come up with temporary fixes which will only serve to further damage the domestic game.
  8. Our co-efficient will never improve until such time as the SFA, SFL and SPL stop with the self protectionist bull5hit and start looking at improving things for all teams so even thinking about it at present is academic. Even if we were to improve the co-efficient, do you think for one second these same people would change the system back to open up the chances for other teams? This is the thin end of the wedge in keeping Euro places for the big boys at the expense of allowing the smaller guys the dream and hope of getting a shot. For many of the middle to lower SPL teams and even 1st Div teams this was the one real thing to play for during the season and it's been taken away for what is, if you really think about it, very little gain in the grand scheme of things.
  9. IMO, this decision is about nothing more than protecting the income for the bigger teams and ensuring them European income. As for his comments about teams outside the OF damaging our game...I think he needs to be looking a bit closer to home to see where the damage has/is being done. Perhaps if he concentrated a bit more on improving things on his own doorstep and giving our whole game in this country a lift then we'd all be better prepared to perform on the European stage. The incentive of a realistic chance to play in Europe should be there for ALL teams in any given country. If they want to scrap giving the place directly to the cup runner-up then they should at least allow that team the opportunity of a play-off against the other contenders. We have 2 Champions League and 2 UEFA Cup Places - the CL places go to the top two in the SPL and the other 2 places got to a play off between the 2 cup winners (or runners up if winner has already qualified), 3rd & 4th in the SPL.
  10. - Your spot on the money Mantis. I ran a minibus to Hibs, couldn't get enough bodies to run one to Celtic and have people queuing for a seat on the one to Gretna for that very reason.
  11. I could be wrong, but from what she's said elsewhere the second last pic in the Hibs bonus photo album on CaleyJags.com is the real Eliza :001: - Rattle, Welcome Back Brew T-shirt...all the clues are there.
  12. I think your right, but we can live confident in the fact that we'll be part of the new lowest when we visit them at the end of October :015:
  13. The only stats that will matter to me are the ones at the end of the season which decide who's for the drop.
  14. I know stats don't count for much when you've just lost 5-0, but interesting reading all the same.... Shots - 17 v 14 On Goal - 8 v 6 Offside - 6 v 3 Corners - 3 v 4 Fouls - 10 v 9 Possession - 60 v 40
  15. Caleyboy - have you ever made a post that wasn't an attempt to taunt someone or other? Personally I think it's getting a bit boring, but unfortunately I don't have the ability to ignore you.

  17. Guilty as charged on the their/there issue. Despite being perfectly aware of the correct use of each (the possessive as opposed to the introductory/placement), it's not a message that always makes a successful trip between my brain and my fingers.
  18. Gringo is the same - I recall RiG had the issue for a bit but it seemed to clear itself.
  19. The death of spelling was brought about through the birth of the typo...it's common sense if you think about it :015:
  20. It died right alongside spelling :029:
  21. Scotty, that's not an ice cream, that's a Sundae on a Stick :015:

Charles, I have a vague memory of being told that Dalneigh was developed at the end of WWII, and was done partly to house families of returning soldiers who wanted to move North and away from the bigger cities. I know that many of the older neighbours are not "native" to Inverness and many served together during the war, so their may be something in the story.
  23. Hilton Chipper still uses dripping and newspaper
  24. 1 pint of John Smiths 1 Pint of cream 9 ounces granulated sugar 2 teaspoons cocoa powder (optional but recommended) 10 egg yolks Mix sugar, cocoa and Egg Yolks in a bowl Put Cream and John Smiths in a pan and bring slowly to boil. Slowly add the hot cream mix to the bowl an whisk constantly and quickly till all liquid is added, Return to the pan and keep whisking while you cook it like you would any custard. Allow it to cool then whack it through an ice cream making machine. Enjoy :001:
  25. God forbid they actually make any real effort to fix the problem instead of coming up with excuses and initiatives which allow them to ignore it even more.
